After three failed attempts to stop water from entering my basement -- with a fourth visit already…read morescheduled -- Everdry Waterproofing still hasn't fixed the issue. I've had to remove flooring in two bedrooms and the living area due to ongoing water damage. What's most concerning is the lack of accountability. On their first visit, they didn't finish the job and "forgot" to seal part of the foundation. They were also required to take photos of all their work, yet conveniently didn't -- which makes it impossible to verify what was actually done. When I raised these issues, I was told that even their own negligence isn't something they are liable for under their contract. They refuse to address the real root cause and keep repeating the same ineffective fixes. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Everdry to anyone seeking reliable or ethical waterproofing services.

I went back and forth on whether to share this, but I'm hoping it may help someone avoid a similar…read moresituation. The week of Thanksgiving, we discovered water coming into our basement from multiple areas. After a quick Google search, we contacted Everdry Waterproofing based on their reviews. A representative came out the day before Thanksgiving and conducted an inspection. During the visit, we were told there were concerns about moisture levels and possible mold, and the seriousness of the situation was emphasized. My fiancé felt a sense of urgency and signed a contract that day. After doing more research in the following days, we became uncomfortable and decided to cancel. We contacted the company on December 5th, but later learned we were outside of the 3-day cancellation window outlined in the contract. We were later informed we would be charged a 28% fee. In January, we were served court papers. We went to court hoping the outcome might be different since no work had been performed, but the court ultimately ruled based on the contract terms. We were ordered to pay $9,108 in addition to the $500 deposit. I'm sharing this simply to encourage others to carefully review any contract before signing, understand cancellation terms, and take time to research multiple companies before making a decision. This was a difficult and expensive lesson for our family, and I hope sharing it may help someone else.

Tommy called before their scheduled time to make sure it was ok to arrive earlier than planned, him and the crew with him went above and beyond our expectations. Not only did he attempt to find covers for our wells at two different stores but he made sure he talked us through the work that they did today. Tommy's demeanor, positive, and professional attitude was noticed and appreciated! I did not speak with the other workers but they completed the work quickly and efficiently. It is the simple things like rolling up the electrical cord and pump for us that were in the window well for draining purposes, and they made sure the gate was closed. Across the board they did a fantastic job!

They finished the work and shortly after we noticed our newly installed carpet was absolutely sopping, we called and explained and they came out and tried to say it was the window leaking (which is above 6" above grade) and they never mentioned it could possibly have been a problem from the start. Called multiple times and you talk to one person just to get told oh someone else will call you. Had to end up paying someone else to come actually waterproof our basement and fix this BS companies work. "Lifetime warranty" is pretty much worthless if they deny anything they did is an issue. Spent $4400 for this company to rip up my drywall, tear up my floor, leave my home covered in dust, all for it to have the EXACT same issue as before the call. This video is a good 36" from said leaking window and in the exact location they installed their system. Call literally anyone else, because you'll have to anyway after using them.

We were given a time for a survey/estimate, which they kept on the dot. The survey/estimate was for a worst-case situation, which assured us they weren't out to gouge us. We found their price reasonable. An appointment was set, and they kept that to the dot! They called about a half hour before showing up. Employees were well prepared, got right to business, and completed the project in the estimated time. At all times the workers were totally professional! They set times to return to check on the work. Again, on time. Again, completely assured and professional. There were no hidden fees or any unbusinesslike practices. This is an utterly trustworthy, bonded business that puts the priority on their customers. They didn't leave us hanging or put us off for more lucrative clients. Our crawl space is now sealed, dry, and our foundation is balanced. Yes, we recommend them wholeheartedly!

Day 3: They broke the Refrigerators water line and it leaked out onto the floor or I would of never known. Then, I had to buy a new waterline for my fridge and replace it and of course the new line was larger. Day 5 and beyond: They came to fix stuff but never finished the job. I finished the work they left undone including buying elbows, piping and other parts and pieces. They never paid me for my labor or a single part or piece I had to purchase to fix their mistakes. The best thing was Easter when the sun came out and my family went outside and found all the cigarette butts in the grass and the mulch. I had waterproofing done in my basement with drain tile, a new sump pump, and new sump pump routing in my back yard. It was a $5600+ job. I put the 10% down June 15, 2022 and nobody called me for 2 weeks to finally get scheduled (I did call several times to try and get scheduled). The first time they were supposed to come out was Tuesday July 12th. There was an emergency (I understand) so they did not come out that day but said "probably Wednesday or Thursday" to which I said, I need to know specifically when because I work full time. They ended up not coming back out until July 22nd, when they did some of the work, but were stopped by the town because they didn't have a permit (which you would think they would check if they need a permit--they're a big company). They could not come out again until August 5th, but then their truck had issues and they didn't have a functioning back-up truck. Then they were supposed to come out August 8th, but on that day they said the truck wouldn't be done until Thursday, so they would come out Friday, August 12th. I had smelly ground-water just standing in my basement for 3 weeks because they needed a permit to fill in the concrete. They came out the 12th but the routing outside was pushing flowing water onto my driveway so I asked for that to be fixed/moved. They ended up needing to move it completely and add an additional drain box, so they had to come out the following Monday (August 15th). I had asked for a discount several times prior to the work being complete because this "one-day" job took two months to finally be finished. They're waiving the credit card fee for me since I asked for that as well, but it's been like pulling teeth and now they're refusing any type of discount because they had to take on "extra expenses" for a permit they should've checked for in the first place. I'm currently waiting on an itemized list of expenses to see what else there is and to pay my invoice. I will say that the men doing the physical labor were amazing and explained everything to me and were very professional, so I did appreciate them a lot. If I need anything else done, I will shop around more in the future.
