I went back and forth on whether to share this, but I'm hoping it may help someone avoid a similar situation. The week of Thanksgiving, we discovered water coming into our basement from multiple areas. After a quick Google search, we contacted Everdry Waterproofing based on their reviews. A representative came out the day before Thanksgiving and conducted an inspection. During the visit, we were told there were concerns about moisture levels and possible mold, and the seriousness of the situation was emphasized. My fiancé felt a sense of urgency and signed a contract that day. After doing more research in the following days, we became uncomfortable and decided to cancel. We contacted the company on December 5th, but later learned we were outside of the 3-day cancellation window outlined in the contract. We were later informed we would be charged a 28% fee. In January, we were served court papers. We went to court hoping the outcome might be different since no work had been performed, but the court ultimately ruled based on the contract terms. We were ordered to pay $9,108 in addition to the $500 deposit. I'm sharing this simply to encourage others to carefully review any contract before signing, understand cancellation terms, and take time to research multiple companies before making a decision. This was a difficult and expensive lesson for our family, and I hope sharing it may help someone else. read more

No one will call us back about coming back to repair it, so their so called lifetime warranty is a scam. Read all the reviews and don't let them take your money! Jim was our sales guy. Very deceptive... offer of a free estimate is not free... $250 charge for lots of testing that is not needed and the $250 charge will only be credited back if they they get the job... Everyone else has no charge for inspection or estimate whatsoever. They want to be paid $250 without doing any work at all. read more

Do not go with this company, they promised everything and destroyed our home didn't cover anything, did not run a fan, dropped jack hammer in wall made 2 holes my entire house was covered in concrete dust. a few years later we find out they did not do the job correctly and now they admitted it and will fix it but will not cover removing drywall and all that is involved. if you admit the job was done wrong you should return the basement back to what it is but they will not and since they did the job wrong we have mold growing that now we have to take care of too. I will never let these people back in my home. Do yourself a favor and don't even talk to these people. in fact I just got off the phone with the guy in charge that is right under the owner and he was argumentative an rude, we have never dealt with a company like this before just AWFUL read more

After paying over $23,000 for "NEVERDRY" in 2009 my basement still has water problems everytime it rains!! If I could give them a negative 10 stars that is what I would do!! They have been back to my house over 30 times since installing their system!! Ridiculous!! They schedule an inspection well after the problem has dried up and a week or 2 later they come back and blindly try to fix it. I cringe everytime it rains knowing there will be more water in my basement. God only knows how much more money I woukd have spent over the past 14 years had I not paid my warranty fee every year!! After I suffered an accident and severe traumatic brain injury, they would not give me any refund because I was locked in their contract. I lost an eye and I have paralysis and severe headaches. I needed to pay for my surgeries. I went bankrupt because of their predatory nature. They said they "already purchased all the material", so I asked them for those materials and they had an excuse why I couldn't get said materials. This is robbery. DO NOT SIGN THEIR CONTRACT!!! The company came and did water proofing for our basement. The guy Jim who did our estimate said numerous times how ALL of our walls would be FIXED and a crack in our foundation that we were very concerned about would be fixed so that it WOULDNT get worse. He went over a "ring of protection" paper he brought and they did everything on there except the patches to fix the crack. He repeated the fact over and over that their work has a LIFETIME warranty stating "as long as the house is standing we guarantee our work and will come back FOR FREE whenever needed". The warranty is $145 a year which he didn't mention. The cracks in our walls (because it's a cinder block basement) were a big concern for us which he reassured would be fixed. They used a painters caulk to cover the cracks INCLUDING our worse horizontal foundation crack and did a terrible job with it, including missing holes and spots on the walls that needed fixed. So we called to have them come use masonry caulk (which is what the supervisor told us they were supposed to use to begin with) and then they didn't even fully cover over the painters caulk they originally used. They didn't even bother to attempt smoothing out the caulks. All to say, what was promised to us in the estimate didn't happen and now are having to call the company numerous times without them getting back to us or righting their wrongs. They also installed a ventilation system where they had to cut through to the outside of the house for venting and left a gap so cold air is coming in and eventually spiders, mice and whatever else can fit through the crack will be coming into my basement. Also, the new cement they put in the basement already has a crack in it and it's only been two weeks since they finished the job, and there's a section along the wall where they didn't fill in with the new cement. For $35,500 I would think a MUCH better job would have been done. And I'd love to know if the owner would approve of this type of work done in their own home. read more

When I purchased my new home in March of 2020, it had major deterioration in the basement. I was carrying out gallons of water when it rained. I contacted Everdry and they had me on their schedule right away. All of the leaks were fixed, both from the inside and outside. The employees are rude, unresponsive and threaten to send their "supervisor" out to speak to you when you request cancellation in an attempt to scare and strong arm you again. The engineering behind the work was very sound & I was confident going into the job. Problems began with the contractor NOT covering my belongings with plastic prior to beginning the jackhammering inside my home. Nor did they bring in the dust exhausted to keep down the dust in the air. Not only did everything in the lower level get coated in concrete dust but the AC circulated the dust throughout the entire house. We spent WEEKS washing ceilings, walls, & our belongings. They did put plastic up at the bottom of the stairs but used duct tape to secure it. As the plastic was ripped down it pulled out big chunks of paint & drywall, leaving me with needing to repair & paint two walls - with cathedral ceilings. Heated discussions happened over the placement of the second sump pit. Job foreman was insistent that it must be put in a bedroom, a closet, or next to the fireplace instead of the crawl space under the stairs as had been agreed. Two days of him trying to talk me into putting it where HE wanted. The new concrete that was laid over the trenches in the lower level is a mess. Not level. Baseboards were not removed & ended up with concrete on them. As carpet(s) were rolled back they ripped & tore holes. Pieces of carpet padding were GONE. We're currently in the process of removing damaged carpets & putting new flooring down (2 rooms done so far), old damaged baseboards also being replaced. During the quote process I was told that I'd lose two rows (about 2 feet total) of ceramic tiles in my laundry room. They destroyed about 5 feet of tiles. When I pointed this out to the traveling manager he suggested I use vinyl tile to fill it in! Laundry room floor - & baseboards - will be the next flooring we need to replace. The family room carpet & baseboards will eventually be replaced, as budget allows. Exterior work on my home was outstanding. Trench was dug, new waterproofing applied to the structure. The 3 young men doing the portion of the job were phenomenal. It only took them a few hours to completely finish. All landscaping was returned to it's original condition and looked GOOD. The job was done in 3 days instead of the 5 days that were scheduled. I feel that if they had been more careful - & respectful - of my home the damage would not have been so severe. I'm glad that I no longer have to worry about water in the lower level but I was NOT prepared for the thousands of dollars I'd be spending to repair the damage that was done. The cost of the job was extremely high ($30,000!) but it had to be done. I would recommend the engineering behind the work but I will not be recommending the company because of the overall damage that I'll be spending months to fix. read more

just like many people on here. I would give them 0 stars if I could. actually negative 10 stars. i didn't actually use them. however, they are scammy people. it was say 3 years ago. I must have fillled out some card to win a free trip at one of SE michigan's local summer festivals somewhere. it occurs to me now that maybe 3-4 years before that (and my house is 45 yers old now so say 40 years old when the person came to check out my house the first time) he found nothing at all to be worried about. i don't even remember who came out. i wish I did or i would give 4-5 stars for whatever company it was. the company called me for months asking to give me a free inspection and i finally caved and thought. ok. i guess it doesn't hurt to see if there is anything. when i first arrived, the guy was there on time, in fact he was early and did his inspection of the entire outside. wo I give him credit for showing up on time and early. that was cool. although i don't really have any way of knowing if he really did or not. just his word,but he was there . i was coming home from work I initially really liked the guy. he seemed nice and fun. and actually i will give him 1/3 of as star for being on time and also showing me how to identify spider eggs and how to get rid of them. i didn't nkow they were there. but I had not has pest control at my house at this point for like 5-6 years since the last time. i have a finished poured concrete interior basement btw. he kept using this yellow device that was telling you how much moisture in the walls. said it was 95 percent meaning it was really high. My dad finished the basement back in the late 90s but about 2/3 of it. so one little corner of the basement of a room of say 8-5 feet or so you can see the walls. now there is a stain on the wall, but it hasn't changed in years. but light. there is a couple small cracks but i understand all foundations do. in the bigger room one side of the house maybe 30-35 feet along the side wall and about say 15 or so feet wide. you can see a few cracks they were vertical though and he did indicate vertical isn't as bad. but he kept takling about bugs and showed it as well in his materials. he made it sound as if the fact you have bugs in the basement, spiders and anything else is a bad sign. however, anyone follwing me along here, remember what I said above about not having pest control at this time for 5-6years? it is a basemnt for god sake, everyone gets them. i mean perhaps if your basement is 100% dry beyond ridiulous than maybe you won't but almost nobody does. oh adn btw in 45 years now (present day) i NEVER EVER once had any flooding in my basemnt, never any standing water EVER not even once. but yet he was scaring the heck out of me into thinking that if I don't do something in 3-5 years max I will have a minimum of $100,000 damage that needs fixing. he even told me stories of a few people he did / or the company did work for. those were used for scare tactics, and now that I think about the stories, i am under the impression that those home owners just got scared. he bascially almost didn't want to leave until i signed something, kept offering me better and better deals, oh on asomething that cost nearly 20,000 dollars which I could not afford. i was able to convince him i need to talk to someone first. so i got him out of the house. oh and i work with a 20 plus year experinced certified residential appraiser ,he told me based on my house of what he knows , there is no way i would need all this or anythign close to it. not even remotely. also, i just recently had a 5 star rated, and we are talking over all 5 star review average on yelp for the pest control company. the guy came the 2nd time after last year's initial spray. ironically before he left he mentioned how my basement was nice and dry and that as pest ispectors, also looking for rodent signs as well always check for moisture in the basements. he found none and I told him about this company lol. so that is a certified apprasier and a pest inspector both who did look formoisture both tell me i am fine. lol. anyway, going back 3 years again to after the inspection. oh and i love how the sales guy made it sound like it was HIS idea to the owner to add such and such ways of doing things for customers. yeah sure, and I am alfred e newman. but withn 2 days of him leaving. this cmopany would call me cell phone 4,5,6,7,8,9 sometims 10 times a day every day for 2-3 weeks, than would skip a day or 2 and do it a few times a week. for 3 -4 months they finally got the hint. and it seems they call me even now. despite me never answering. that tells me this company is trash and i don't like working with people like this. read more

If you cancel the order they will charge you 28% of the total order even when they provided no service or materials. This is a scam and they will steal your money. I am a member of 1 of the smallest minority groups 1% in America being a mentally & physically disabled combat Veteran. I am a actual unsatisfied paid customer that has paid the full contract price of $25,000 dollars which everdry cashed the check the same day they worked on my house. I'm exercising my rights as a disabled Veteran & exercising the 1st amendment of freedom of speech. I am not blaming any company/person of anything but I will share my experience on how they valued me as a customer/disabled Veteran. If you google website redpowerchaircom scams lists common scams that target the elderly & disabled. Example home repair scams & door to door scams. In March 2024 a representative from everdry knocked on my door saying he was going door to door in my neighborhood offering free inspections & giving a % off coupon for home repairs. He had no uniform, no id badge & no business card. I told him I was a disabled Veteran living on a limited income & was not interested. He failed to honor my no soliciating/loitering sign & did not leave until he persuaded me to agree to the free inspection. I told him I don't want to deal with any salesman as I live on a limited income. He assured only a inspector was coming out. After the inspector finished his inspection I gave him a bottled water, thanked him for inspection & told him have a nice day. All of a sudden this inspector turns into a salesman & starts talking about home repairs. I told him I was a disabled Veteran living on a limited income & was not interested. He overstayed his welcome, used scare tactics, high pressure sales tatics & did not leave until he persuaded me to sign a contract for home repairs with warranty for my house. He presented their was a 3 day Grace period to cancel the contract. He refused & failed to honor the % off coupon that was given to me by the representative that was going door to door earlier in the month. The inspector/salesman said his company was the best in the industry & bragged about a patent they had that no other company could use. He presented to me how professional the job would be done, how they would protect my property, not damage anything, if they did they would replace it for free, they wouldn't do anything without my permission & they would cleanup their mess. On 3/18/24 I mailed them a letter & canceled the home repairs contract. Also on 3/18/24 I canceled the home repairs contract by phonecall 2 days before the 3 day Grace period ended on 3/20/24. It was communicated to me that a contract signed is a contract signed & that if I didn't honor the contract legal action could be used. I admit, I'm a mentally physically disabled Veteran & I don't understand everything about law & home repair contracts. I still don't understand why I couldn't get out of the home repair contract when the inspector/salesman presented that I could cancel the home repair contract 3/18/24 within the 3 day Grace period which ended on 3/20/24. A week later I asked my friend to explain it to me. He called me a very gullible person & that my gullibility is my downfall & I was scammed. To make a long story short they ended up coming out in April 2024, failed to do/follow the job how the inspector/salesman represented in detail how the job was professionally done, & left the incomplete (according to how the the Inspector/salesman home repair represented how the job would be done). I am still waiting for the job to be completed how the inspector/salesman presented on how the home repair job would be done. My property has been damaged & still waiting on manuals, etc. Their unsatisfactory cleanup job created a slip/fall hazard which caused me to suffer a hard fall & a $17,000 dollar hospital ER visit. I'm still getting medical treatment for those injuries. I'm a existing paid customer that asked for customer service & use my warranty which you refused to honor & come to my house. I wish I could assign a zero rating. We are first time home owners, my husband is a disabled veteran and we planned on finishing our basement. We had never had any issues what so every with our basement leaking or flooding, but we wanted to make sure that we were covering all of our bases prior to sinking all of that money into finishing it. As others have reported, they used scare tactics to get you to sign the contract. Again, as first time home owners, we truly trusted and believed them. We paid the hefty $30K price tag to have the work done. Since then our basement has flooded 3 times! We NEVER had issues prior to this work being done. Our yard is still a mess, almost a year later, from them digging it up. They assured us it would "settle," but it hasn't. The boxes (batteries) are constantly beeping and having issues, the one has already been replaced several times. This is one home improvement project that I wished I had never done. And to top it off, after the 3 flooding's, they never cleaned up or replaced the items that were damaged. read more

He said yes to keep the warranty it's $145 a year I said how many years he said forever ! I said you mean to tell me you want me to sign this paper that just has a 18,500 number on it with nothing that states what it covers and pay your company who I don't know $145 a year for the rest of my life ? Horrible customer service. I am in town to help my daughter and son-in-law because there basement flooded. In addition, saw water after most recent rain through floor and base of foundation. Everydry customer service was horrible. Insist on both homeowners be present for free inspection. I explained one is out of town this week and the other has a job where time off is difficult to get currently. They said both homeowners need to be here or it is not free. I am here and available ... Had Everdry come give me a quote for a leaky (not flooding) basement. The guy was a high pressure salesman using scare tactics. He cautioned me against getting other quotes, basically said my house was a health hazard due to mold and kept boasting about being approved by NASA. I couldn't get rid of him. He gave me 3 "options" but strongly advised the one costing $24k. The office called me the next day wanting to send an owner out because he might be able to offer me a better price. Nope, not falling for round 2 of that pressure. I refused citing I didn't like their sales tactics. If they really wanted to offer me a deal, they could have told me over the phone. I would stay clear of this company!!! If you can't help yourself, make sure you have someone with you and give an hour time limit after which kick the guy out! read more

As a new homeowner of course I would get fear-mongered into a bad contract with a bunch of liars. I was having some water issues with my home that I recently purchased so I contacted everdry to come out and give me some insight and to get something set up. When they came out to my house they were deceptively nice. We went to the basement to take a look at the issues I was having and then we walked the foundation of my home where one of the guys made a comment asking if the line coming from the house was my sump discharge. Note the line was dumping right next to my foundation and he said nothing more on the matter. When we went back inside we sat down and discussed what they "thought" was the issue. They gave me a whole bs spew about how water was coming up from from my man made water table in the form of hydrostatic pressure and that my basement walls are going to cave in if I don't act soon and that my sump pump will just keep running and my foundation is going to crumble and they recommended reinforcing my basement walls, digging out a trench around my house to put a foam around my foundation and installing a thing to suck air out of my basement. And knocked the price down 1k if I would get signed up that day. And was very adamant on making me understand that this doesn't guarantee water won't be able to find its way back into my basement. (Duh bc you guys knew this wouldn't fix the issue I was having) Me being the new homeowner with no experience with any of this stuff regretfully took these crooks at their word. Later I come to find out that the joint to my sump discharge line with faulty in my basement and was spewing water onto my basement floor causing it to flood the floor and what water that did pass through the line was just getting dumped next to my foundation seeping back into my house to get pumped back out all over again. Along with this my AC/furnace when the ac is on has water that comes out of a pipe that was just ran on the floor in the basement so water trickled out of that as well onto the floor. After getting the joint in the discharge line fixed, re-running my discharge line away from my house, running the ac line out side and getting a dehumidifier in my basement my walls and floors are bone dry and my sump hasn't kicked on once. These guys seen these issues and lied to my face and conned me into 16k worth of repairs my home did NOT need. Not to mention my foundation is in perfect condition along with the walls in my basement. I really wish I would have done my research before trusting these low lives. And now that I canceled and explained all of this to them they're refusing to give back my 2k deposit and want me to pay an additional $2,319 for cancelling. The only other course of action I have besides plastering this review on every possible thing I can is consulting a lawyer to get my money back. From one homeowner to another. Get a second opinion before you sign with this company. read more

Very fishy and was not happy with how irritated he became when I repeatedly said I don't have the money. ALSO, fun fact, the swabs all turn dark purple. I would give this company a negative zero if possible. They did the work on our house at an exorbitant price but pumped the water onto my side yard. It is now a marsh and the wetland is causing problems with my neighbor's basement. My landscaping is ruined and I need hip waders to walk in the yard. I called in June when my neighbor complained and Everdry said they would send out an inspector--he spent about 5 minutes. I continued to call and ask when something would be done and was constantly given the runaround. I talked to our city Engineer and was informed that Everdry has done this before and created the same type of problems for other homeowners. If I had known all this, I would never have allowed this company anywhere near my home. I just got off the phone with Kevin, after getting no call back from Michelle, and told him that I was going to consult a lawyer if something were not done to solve the problem. He said for me to "Go ahead and call a lawyer; it's not our problem and we don't have to do anything." Wonderful customer service! My advice: Avoid this company! read more

These people are criminals. We got some seepage and as we plan to sell I. A year or two we thought we should fix it. Called several companies to estimate. A sale guy with a suit came never actually looked at site. Walked around and then went into a long presentation. I got mad and asked a price. He said they would dig around the foundation and put in drain tiles and charge 45,000 bux for this. I kicked him out. He drove off in his bmw. Next guy quoted 380 dollars to fix the leak. for years i promoted this company, as while expensive - they did do an admirable job at our home, and we chose to go with the warranty and have paid faithfully every year - now we have an issue, they come out and identify the issue (back in january) - here we are mid may and im still waiting for them to repair/resolve the problem - while they take on new business and perform work for new people they leave us "old faithfuls" to rot... well no more!!! ill find someone who gives a fig for people who helped build thier company... last ever warranty - will go with someone new next time. read more

I would never have everdry come to my house again. First the cut are internet wire and buried it and never called anybody and sent me a bill for 11k and to do the whole house was 18k. So we had to get a lawyer to get them back out. Then when we had them come finish the job they broke are drain for the furnace and sum pump and did say anything and said they would be back to finish the outside and haven't herd from them. I've got more water in my basement than before I bought their ripped off system. The sales rep said their system works and that I would NEVER get water in my basement. So we paid $18,000 for the whole stupid system. We purchased it back in May 2019, installed it in July 2019. 2 months after installation, our basement got flooded. Water came in from the window well. Our freshly installed carpet was ruined. Company said they are not liable to the damage because it's in the contract. They "fixed" the problem after 2 weeks! 2 weeks after "fixing it", guess what, we got water again, this is back in Oct 2019! Called them, the customer service representative was not even sympathetic. MICHELLE was rude and super sarcastic. Very very bad customer service. They came out after 3 weeks to "fixed" it again. Pointing fingers to the crew who fixed it last time and said that everything is all good now. 5 weeks later (Jan 2020) it rained again and we got more water in the basement!!! Vey unacceptable. Called the customer service, and yet again, MICHELLE WAS overly rude. Pretending that the line is breaking up every time I'm going to complain because it was really upsetting! Still waiting for the inspector to come out and tell us what they will have to "fix". I don't know how many times they have to do adjustment. But really I'd rather hire a smaller company who will really fix the problem, than hiring everdry. Their business don't take pride to what they do. It's not dry with everdry! Ripped off company, they will tell you that you need to get their system because you have molds and what not. They will say every bad things just to get your money. We contracted with Everdry to mitigate water issues in our basement. The crew were hard-working laborers, but not professionals. Problems began when the jackhammer broke a cast iron sewer drain for the kitchen and laundry room. Although they did not have a qualified plumber on the crew, they fixed the drain with 20-inches of PVC and the correct rubber connectors. A short time later, the jackhammer broke another cast iron pipe. Since it was a "dry" pipe near an old sealed toilet flange, (and they did not have a professional plumber assess the situation), they did not fix this 4-inch drain but finished their work and cemented over the entire trench. This proved to be the sewer main for our two bathrooms! We had all the toilets and drains back up the night before leaving for a six-day prearranged trip out-of-state. We called Everdry immediately upon arriving at our destination. We scheduled someone to check out the problem, and called a plumber to be there the same day to verify the problem. Everdry had to open up the floor to reveal a disgusting, putrid mess that had leached through that entire portion of the trench. Plumbers had to use a 38-inch long PVC pipe to to fix the sewer main. The soonest Everdry could have a crew come to replace their drain pipe (which had been cut out by the plumbers) and again cement over the trench was five days later! We were exposed to that stinky contaminated open trench in our laundry room for that entire time. After the trench was finally sealed with concrete, we hired a professional cleaner to sanitize our basement floor and walls, and called in a carpet cleaner to clean all our carpets and a couch. We sent Everdry an e-mail with receipFollowing the delay in response from Everdry, ts regarding all of our out-of-pocket expenses (plumbers, professional cleaner, carpet cleaning), as well as a request for financial consideration for our inconvenience and exposure to contaminants throughout the ordeal. We also asked them to cover the cost of having our basement steps repainted, because the sticky plastic runner the used pulled the paint off when it was removed at the end of their project. We feel that they are dragging their feet in response to our request. I have called the customer care rep numerous times. He assured that we would be reimbursed, but it needed approval of the boss. We have already been waiting 19 days for their compliance with our request. The delays continue! UPDATE: A day after posting the above review, Everdry agreed in writing to reimburse us for all of our out-of-pocket expenses related to the sanitizing, cleaning, and basement steps, and to cover five years of the annual warranty payments as compensation for our inconvenience. We are satisfied with this agreement as communicated to us and appreciate their commitment to work on high customer satisfaction. read more

I had a sales guy from Everdry knock on my front door one afternoon. He told me their company was doing some work in the area and that they were offering free, no-obligation inspections/estimates in ours and the surrounding neighborhoods while they were working around there. He told me how "great" of an offer this was because it normally costs like $200 (or some ridiculous amount like that) just to have them come out and look/quote a job. I'm not familiar with any of this kind of thing, but he was telling me all the "scary" things that can happen if homes are not waterproofed, including the dangerous health risks. I'm currently on oxygen and awaiting a double lung transplant, so I'm sure he specifically used that as a scare-tactic. He also told me he could tell just by looking at the outside foundation near my front porch that it needed "serious" work and if it wasn't fixed soon we would have big problems in the future. I told him sure, I'd take a free inspection/estimate, but then he told me my husband also needed to be present for it so we'd have to schedule a time when he would also be available to be home for it. Ended up scheduling for 5:30pm a couple evenings later. The day they were supposed to come, we had planned to go out to dinner with my in-laws and then grocery shopping afterward. We waited and they didn't show up. Eventually about 6pm, I called and they told me that whomever was supposed to come out was having issues with their GPS and that it took them to the other side of La Porte and then told me the guy would be here by 7:30pm. I said that no longer worked for us, we had other plans and then asked why it was going to take another hour and a half to drive across town after he was already 30 minutes late and why no one had bothered to call to let us know, why did I have to call them and inquire. I was told he was "just about to call" before I called them... Ya, right... So, we ended up rescheduling for the next day, same time. About 5:45pm that day (only 15 minutes passed the scheduled time this time...) their office called and my husband answered. They asked to reschedule again because the guy who was supposed to come out again wouldn't be able to make it as he was running behind and was still doing an inspection at another place. My husband said no, we were not longer interested in getting an inspection/estimate from and unreliable, crooked company. To start, my husband knew there was absolutely nothing wrong with our foundation because we had JUST had a home inspection done a few months prior as we just purchased our home. This company lies to try and get people to pay thousands and thousands of dollars to do work that isn't even needed. It's awful to do that to people in general, but to con people with serious health conditions (like myself) and my husband (disabled veteran) is just disgusting. read more

My husband and I live in a 106-year-old home and were accustomed to small puddles of water in our basement after torrential rains. However, 10 years ago a "once every 100 year" rain occurred that flooded our basement and soaked everything stored in it. We quickly investigated waterproofing businesses and Everdry seemed to be at the top of most people's lists. When the installers arrived they worked quickly and efficiently both inside the basement and outside among our heavily landscaped plantings around the house. We were amazed at the minimal upheaval for such a messy job. The installation of 2 sump pumps have kept us totally dry for over 10 years. Yearly maintenance provides peace of mind. I recently purchased my home less than 6 months ago and my home inspector totally missed just how bad the efflorescence was in the basement. The problem was only revealed after their possessions had been removed. The gentleman who came out to my home for the free inspection was incredibly thorough and never once seemed rushed with me. That same care and patience was also exhibited by every person I encountered from the company. If I ever had a question or concern, someone was always willing to take their time to explain things and make sure everything was going as planned... even all the way through installation. It's become increasingly evident the previous owners were big "DIY-ers." Now I at least have peace of mind knowing the foundation of my home is protected the way it needs to be and was professionally handled by people who know what they're doing. read more

The reason why they have two people be there is because they use a sales tactic to pressure you both to sign the contract. Salesman was nice at first. After he quoted us a 30,000 price tag, we said we needed time to think about it. The salesman immediately turned angry and rude. It was the most uncomfortable I've ever felt in my own house!! It was all we could do to get him to leave! Plus, the visit went way over their quoted time. It was awful and we were late for another appointment. We called Nova and it was the complete opposite and a third of the price. I will post on Nova after they do the work. read more

horrible customer service, had an apt sched for Saturday morning, they had called and left messages twice on Friday and both times I tried to return their calls for confirmation, however, both times the lines rang busy, when they didn't show on Saturday morning, I called them. I was told they would not be coming out since they were unable to confirm with us on Friday, however in the meantime I found out that my mother had spoke with them when they called. After reading the other reviews, I definitely WILL NOT be calling them. Not going to get robbed of the thousands of dollars it sounds like they are quoting people, sounds like a high-pressure, scare tactic sales pitch to me...Our basement does not flood, it just has several leaky areas where the floor and wall seam meets. We'll just rely on ourselves to try to fix the problem. read more

This company saved my life. All of the staff were so easy to work with and everyone was so helpful. This is one of the best investments I have made in my entire life, and I recommend it to anyone experiencing any type of issue with their basement. Even if you don't buy through their company, they give awesome do it yourself tip sheets to point you in the right direction to fix things yourself. Great for increasing your homes value too! Took a day off work to meet with them and another contractor to look at cracks in my basement. They asked that 'both homeowners be available'. On Friday my wife was asked to work late on Monday and won't be available. When I told the salesperson this on the confirmation call he said that 'in order for the visit to be free, both homeowners must be there'. I said I took the day off to meet him and he didn't care. Said he could reschedule like I've got tons of free time during the day. Nobody else requires this so I can only assume it's so they can give you a hard push to sign a contract during their visit. read more
