My daughter was her from age 5-9 years old. She started out doing great. All of a sudden she started to struggle. She was told that she knows how to do it and needs to just do it. I witnessed her not getting help and struggling. When she finally started landing her skills again (with help from and outside source) she was given a statement that if she did not keep doing it she would be pulled from her stunt. This statement should not have been made and instead should have been encouraging. This statement really bothered my daughter. read more

I enrolled my daughter in prestige about 8 months ago and we absolutely love it. She was previously enrolled at a competitive gym for a little less than a year, but wasn't learning new skills... within a few sessions of being at prestige, she has mastered skills that she should have been learning the time she was enrolled at the other gym, but wasn't getting the training that prestige coaches provide. They recently moved to a new location and it is incredible, with more space and a huge area to accommodate parents to be able to watch their child during class. As a previous gymnast myself and being in some of the most elite gyms in the Midwest, this gym and the coaches experience that this gym is providing is right alongside some of the best gyms out there... To top it off, the classes are very reasonable. My daughter takes classes 2x/week for 2 hours a session and it's less than $200/month. (I think around $160?, but don't quote me on that...) 10 out of 10 experience all around. read more

My son took classes 2 days a week and had different coaches. One of the coaches was not great at keeping all the boys engaged, he would show them and then kind of let them do whatever, they would wonder and mess around, but then get snapped at. My son did not enjoy it and he didn't seem to really learn anything on those nights. The other coach was ultimately more strict and kept them all in line. But he was more engaging and focused on really helping them with form and teaching them. He made it fun while the boys were focused and actually learning. So it's an ok place with the right coach but we didn't stay. It's affordable, so there's that to weigh in as well. read more

My daughter has done all star cheer here for 2 years now. When she started she didn't have any experience. The coaches here are fantastic and have taught her sooooo much! She LOVES it here and continues to grow in her skill level. It's family owned and the owners are very involved in every aspect! The family that runs this place are incredibly rude cheapskates. I bought a package of 10 classes and they tried to cut me off after 2 classes. They were like "You need to pay!" when I came in to take the third class. And I was like "I have 8 more classes left, I prepaid for 10 classes when I came in 3 weeks ago." And they refused to even look in their computer to check if I had already prepaid. Or maybe they don't have a computer system because they want to be able to accuse people of lying. So they convince you to prepay for 10 classes and then only let you use 2 of them and won't let you use the rest. And if you don't use the rest of the classes on your prepaid 10 pack they won't refund you. After they accused me of not having prepaid for 10 classes, I was like "Then give me a refund for the other 8 classes if that's how you're going to treat me." They refused to refund me for the other 8 classes. So they kept the money for the 8 classes I didn't even get to use and I just left and never went back there. There's other gymnastics studios in Glendale, don't give this family your business. And yes, I'm talking about Arizona Prestige Gymnastics in Glendale, Arizona. Can't believe I forgot to write a review!! My daughter loves doing gymnastics and I love that I found AZ Prestige. I called around to a few gymnastics places and some of the staff weren't so friendly or willing to answer the many questions I had. So far, we really like the coaches my daughter had and we are looking forward to signing up again. She's accomplished so much in the 32 weeks she's been going. Thank you AZ Prestige!! I was referred this place by A parent who spoke highly of this place and who's children went on to compete at higher levels. I have paid for 3 sessions of $130 and my daughter has only once been spotted on back handspring one time in level 1. I learned later level 1 doesn't really count because anyone can be a level 1. I heard instructor within second class say My girls should have been level 2 and were not advanced. My girls made it to level two hoping to learn something only to be disappointed that this is the same class as level 1. I have watched numerous classes and spoke to owner. She's been level 2 twice and hasn't been spotted once for a back handspring??? doesn't seem to be acquiring any new skills on bar or beam from level 1. She has trampoline, bar and beam at home yet her skills are limited due to level apparently and not one person at the gym took the time to assess her individual skills. Maybe that's an extra fee. In twice level 2 she learned nothing even after speaking with someone before I signed her up for second level 2 and yet she still has learned nothing and $400 along with home gym equipment of $500 later. That's just since October. YouTube- is where my daughter learned her tricks. Buy a trampoline, a training bar and beam. They will learn more from YouTube than Prestige read more

We have been going there for 6 years, and now have all 3 of my girls going there. Their prices are very reasonable. For recreational classes, you get an hour long class for $128, and that's for 8 weeks! Equivalent to two months! If you sign up during early bird sign up, you get a $5 discount per class! Awesome deal for families with multiple children. During that time you not only get a $5 discount per class, but you get a sibling discount as well! Multiple savings! The owners always have an open door and make time to talk to you about anything, goals, advancement, etc... They offer competitive cheer as well as recreational cheer, and cheer tumbling, for those girls that need that extra practice for those skills they need for try outs. All 3 of my girls did their competitive cheer program. They even have a cheer exhibition program for 3 and 4 year olds. Their competitive cheer program is AWESOME! Coach Patty is the BEST! She has so much patience and gets those little ones to do AMAZING things! Coach Terra is awesome too! They also have competitive gymnastic programs as well. The boys team is led by Coach Tim and has the help of Coach Nick, Coach Tim has been doing this for years. The girls competitive team is led by Coach Wendy and has the help of Coach Morgan and Coach Jasmine. Coach Wendy treats the girls like her own children. She has so much patience, and takes the time to teach proper form for skills, and all the big and little details needed to compete. Their coaches are all very good with children. If your looking for a gym that feels like family, AZ Prestige is the place to be!!!! OH! and I can't wait to be in their new location!! VERY EXCITING!! read more
