If you could give this company a negative star I would. The owner Tracey lacks in integrity. His company did a hard scape job for us in April 2019. After the rains all the water ran into our garage and patio. After several texts he pulled some bricks out. It flooded again.....more text and he said he would fix it by pulling out more bricks....more rain more text and he did nothing. AZ Turf and more did not respond to anything from the BBB so I went to the contractors registry and put in a complaint. Unfortunately 2 years has now past and nothing can be done. Had our back yard done with turf & pavers last fall. Job was done well (reason for 2 stars instead of 1). Front yard was recently done with the same, also including new drip line irrigation. Crew completed the job in 1.5 days. Since then, the irrigation system was not done correctly, or was cracked, and flooded the area on the side of my house, including my neighbors yard. Water was above ankle level. Called the company, explained the situation & that the irrigation box was also flooded, and that there was no drip line to a newly planted tree. A crew was sent over, & I was told the broken line was fixed. Since then, water is still shit off to irrigation, but water is flowing out of drip line that was "fixed" & I cannot get an answer or call back from anyone involved with the company. Meet with Jeffrey prior to Labor Day weekend and he came out to discuss the vision I had to complete the landscaping around our Pool. This included an area along the side of the house, side of front yard and around the pool. Which included a small putting green perfectly situated behind our water wall feature. He gave me a quote on Tuesday the 1st and the project was completed by Saturday the 12th. He initially quoted the project would be completed by Tuesday the 15th. After waiting two months to have them come out and do it, he informs me he "miss quoted" the sq ft of my turf and it would be almost $4000 more but he could come down to about $2500, but I wouldn't get all the turf we wanted or get a lower grade. What a horrible experience. I hired this company to do a simple job. A price was agreed on and they came to do the work. After day one I was asked to pay more because they mis bid the job. When I pushed back I was told not to tell anyone because at that price they would go out of business. Today I was shopping at my local nursery and I was walking out to the parking lot to leave and I noticed that a landscaper was loading this truck alongside with employees that work at the nursery and I could not believe the next thing that I saw is that the landscaper intentionally coughed on the employee of the nursery multiple times. I couldn't believe how somebody would intentionally do that especially given the time that we are in. I was so upset by what I saw so I asked one of the employees of the nursery who the landscaper was and he told me that he is a contractor that owns his own company. Warning: Terrible workmanship and even worse customer service!!! We were EXTREMELY disappointed! We had our turf installed by AZ Turf Store working with Tracy. The turf was installed on June first and by mid-August there were lumps throughout our ENTIRE yard! When I reached out to Tracy about my concerns he said he would take a look at it when he came back in September to replace our dead plants. After spending the entire month of September trying to get a hold of him and getting a date scheduled with us, he finally made it out on the 28th. He replaced the plants but said he was not sure how to fix the turf as it was worse than he expected and he needed to discuss it with his lead guy. He told me he would be in touch the following day. After several more weeks of trying to get a hold of him, he finally responded to say there was nothing that could be done about it. So our $12,000 turf lasted less than two months and he felt as though this was not a concern of his and that it was the "ground." He smugly asked what I wanted him to do and what my suggestions would be to fix it, I told him this was not my specialty and that was what we had paid him for. In his last response the end of November, he let us know if we wanted it fixed we would have to pay him additionally for those services. ***PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, if you are looking for a creditable landscaper go elsewhere as I can promise you, you will be very disappointed in working with him. I was referred to AZ Turf by a friend. Tracy responded quickly for a quote to do my backyard and gave me a design, along with materials that appeared to be quality, which was nice. My backyard is 460 sq ft and the job cost me $4k. I extended my patio, had travertine pavers installed (patio and curbing), and added river rock. This was completed in one day (took about 11 hours) by Tracy's crew. The space looks great, however, the workmanship and customer service needs improvement. On the second day post-installation, I came across a couple of pavers that were not secure and contacted Tracy immediately. He seemed willing to address the issue, but when it was convenient for him. Communication was mediocre at best, he said he would come out on a specific day and never showed nor called. When I followed up, he blamed it on his crew leader. He stopped responding to my texts and I ultimately had to have a man call on my behalf. At that point I received a response and he committed to coming out again but this time he did actually show up and fixed the two pavers. During the visit, I expressed my disappointment but it was in vain, he had a lot of excuses and gave a disingenuous apology, which is fine. I also had to ask multiple times for warranty information on the artificial turf before he finally gave it to me. I'm outside enjoying my patio today (1 month post completion) and discovered 3 more unsecured pavers. You'd think for the amount of money I paid the job would have been done correctly. Now I have to find someone else to fix his work because I don't want to subject myself to the hassle again. It's unfortunate; I had referrals and more work that I wanted to contract out to his company but he doesn't have a commitment to his customers. I want to note, his crew threw away or lost my gate lock and I had to buy a new one that night, left trash mixed in with the river rock and the industrial weed killer that Tracy stated they would spray down before installing the materials, either was not done or did not work because I have weeds growing through my rocks. I only mention this to justify my opinion of the business operation. I am also a single female. Not sure if that has anything to do with it but it could be a case where he's the mechanic of landscapers. Ladies, have a man present to help you through the process, I didn't. BEYOND impressed. Honestly, we went into this process totally unsure of what to expect since our only experience with contractors previously had not gone well. These guys just went above and beyond whatever I could have expected. The crew showed up early every day and stayed late, and I never saw them sitting around doing nothing. They were so meticulous with every detail, all of them! We could not believe how much time they spent getting every detail JUST right. They even fixed up areas that we were totally not expecting at all and were not within the scope of the project, but they left no area unpresentable.
