My issue isn't for work that was done. I had an appointment scheduled for 6 months. I left work early for my appointment and when I arrived, I was told that day was for Orthodontics. I was not called to change my appointment. I had been there 2 weeks previously for a chipped tooth and asked if I needed to keep my appointment for my cleaning and was told yes. So, why did they not tell me then that the time I had booked for 6 MONTHS was for Orthodontics and not cleanings? For the appointment that I had 2 weeks previous, I received a bill for a balance $14.00, when I paid for the service at my appointment. I called them and asked them to credit my account since they failed to call me on my scheduled appointment, and I left work early to go to the appointment scheduled for 6 MONTHS. I was told they couldn't do that. So, I am now getting a new Dentist.

I repetitively told her over and over the troubles I was having finding a dentist office the days prior thanks to my insurance. she assured me again and again it was accepted. being paranoid and new to the whole process I asked the lovely ladies up front how much it would be for the consolation out of pocket and I was told directly it would be no more than $60 max. I then proceeded to sit there for the next hour and a half as I got excuse after excuse for why they couldn't do a cost breakdown with my insurance. they ended up taking my name and phone number down to contact me later about an update. I AGAIN asked if I was just free to leave or needed to pay for something, and they AGAIN assured me my insurance covered it. Later the next day they called and left a voicemail saying they don't accept my insurance. I was more or less down than upset, as I assumed it could be a cleric error within the team and I was dreading having to try again looking for a new dentist. Come to present day I have learned they tried to charge my insurance for over $400!!! For a bad x Ray I didn't need or ask for, my first priority was insurance and I made that clear, and for a "consolation" which the doctor didn't even see my teeth. I'm beyond pissed. She is a scam artist and liar. While the ladies up front are sweet and staff seems nice, the doctor is rude, disingenuous and a scammer.
