I decided to write this review after seeing if the solar tube lighting held up well to the natural elements. They do!!! I walked into their showroom and they showed me different lighting. It was amazing because they didn't have lights on in the showroom and you could see how much light the solar tubes brought into the building. We have one solar tube in the bathroom and one in the kitchen/living room. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. Short answer: not on your life, at least not from this company. We were "greeted" by a young man who came shuffling out of the back part of the store, wearing a scruffy tee-shirt and sporting a face that hadn't seen a razor in 4-5 days. He was incredibly uninterested in helping us, trying to point us toward another company even though we told him specifically what we wanted. He didn't try to find out how much they would cost, he said he'd have to "check into it", and didn't even ask our names for a return call. Avoid this business at all costs. If the owner of this company allows his employee to dress in such an unbusinesslike manner and deal with customers in this fashion, you don't need anything they have to offer.

Conversation is as follows: DE: Hello I'm unavailable to speak on the phone right now, could you text me pictures, address, & details of work you need done for electrical quote. Thank you. Me: Hello, who is this? DE: You called me simpleton. Me: That's definitely the way to get business. I've called several places today, and you are defiantly not I'll go with. DE: What does that matter you don't even know who you called. Please post but if you do post it all ok, go away now fruitcake. I'm blocking you. It's interesting how the other reviews mention professionalism because that is most certainly not seen here. Update: Apparently my review was seen, and instead of thinking about how unprofessional they were, they have texted me again and have now threatened me. I will be reporting this to the police.

They have decided to send me a new sign to my new address. It was a very nice surprise as I had never expected to see it again. I am very grateful that they are replacing it. I would now definitely do business with them again and I learned a valuable lesson when using PayPal to definitely double check the auto fill information that they provide to retailers. (Previous review) I ordered a custom address sign and used PayPal to pay for it. We moved 3 weeks after ordering the sign but figured we would get tracking info and would be able to pick it up once delivered. Apparently they sent it a few days after we moved but never sent us tracking info. After waiting 6-8 weeks I called Kiva Lighting to find out why it was taking so long and they said they had shipped it a month ago. I went back to my old address and it was not there. No neighbors had found it and neither did the rental management company taking care of the property. Kiva said it's PayPal's fault. PayPal said it was kivas fault. Now I'm out $135.00 and I have NOTHING to show for it. I went back to Kiva after trying to fight it through PayPal and they offered to replace it at a 25%discount which would still be over $100 more than what I already spent. I am so beyond frustrated with both this company and PayPal.

I called their number no answer all 3 times. Then i emailed 4 times and someone named Sonia stated she was sorry but it's now Out Of Stock... what? Then without asking me if I wanted a different style they refunded me without any help. Yes I wanted a different style so now I had to place my order all over again. She said she would check on the status and never replied back. Since July 7th...I have emailed and called them 6 times each. Very bad customer service. They will probably resound in another 20 days and tell me that one is Out Of Stock too. Nice items but that does not outweigh the horrible customer service.
