I emailed back and forth with owners Robert and Angela to narrow down specifics, and they were helpful and prompt with each response. I received email reminders leading up to our move, and a phone call the morning of our move when the truck was 15 minutes out. Robert and Robert (or Rob and Bert!) arrived right on time and ready to work. They did a quick walk-thru of the space with us, where we identified which items were going where (we had to stop at a storage unit before the home we were moving into). After that, they packaged all of our items with care, and safely loaded everything onto the truck! It took around four hours to complete our move, and at around $800 total, it was well worth the price. The two Roberts were friendly, professional, and fast while still moving larger pieces carefully. We would definitely hire A&R Moving Solutions again, and highly recommend them to anyone in need of moving services in Greater Nashville.

Absolutely Terrible Experience - Shockingly Different From Last Year…read more I used this company a year ago and had a great experience, which is the only reason I decided to book with them again. Unfortunately, this move was the complete opposite. The movers showed up smelly and unprofessional, and they argued with each other the entire time they were in my home. It was uncomfortable to watch, and on top of that, they were clearly milking the clock rather than working efficiently. When my furniture arrived, several pieces were damaged--including an $800 dresser with two legs broken off, leaving it unable to stand. Three lamp shades never made it into my home during unloading, and the company initially denied they were ever part of the move. For a whole week, they ignored my calls and messages about reimbursement, after saying they would get back to me in 24 hours. They only responded once my father got involved, and even then, their offer was insulting: $70 for the three missing lamp shades and $0 for the ruined dresser. I'm extremely disappointed in how drastically their service quality declined. This company is now unprofessional, careless, and unwilling to take responsibility. I regret booking with them again, and I strongly suggest choosing a different moving company if you want your belongings--and peace of mind--protected.

It was just March 2019 when I packed up our house in Alabama, where I'd lived for 15 years with my late husband, and brought our belongings back to my hometown of Columbia, TN. Because our 15-year marriage had been tossed into a 10'x30' storage unit with no way of finding what I needed, I knew sifting through it all to piece together a life after love was going to take a special moving company. Enter Shane at Marigold Movers. I'd already had one glowing recommendation for this company, and after meeting Shane, I understood why. First of all, Shane was perfectly on time, every time. Second, he was so friendly and helpful when doing the "walk-through" to work up my estimate! He probably told me more good things in casual conversation about his company and how they do business than even he realized. This is a man who appreciates his job and his boss! Third, Shane is honest. He's one of those people whose face tells you the truth before he ever utters a word. You just don't have to worry about what he says. On moving day, I made a last-minute change to the location of the first of two pickups, and Shane hadn't gotten the message in time because he's always early--but he rolled with it, saying they wouldn't charge a dime until they started working. This crew was so friendly and fun to work with, and after a couple of hours, they'd gotten to know my needs well enough to predict which boxes needed to come out of the storage unit (always checking with me first). They finished the work ahead of schedule and the cost came in under the estimated amount. At the end of the day, I ended up with some items having been moved that shouldn't have, and a table top whose legs didn't make it to my new home. Still, I would highly recommend Magnolia Movers. I'll use them again for my next move!

Thank goodness I did the bulk, but let them do some stuff. Lets just say I found glass jars thrown in a box with canned goods. I went through each kitchen box they packed and repacked. Also found one cabinet was still unpacked. They wanted to wrap 65" tvs in blankets. I went and bought boxes and we did it ourselves yet they had charged us for them! Seriously. Then they destroyed the boxes in the move. So much damage to furniture. They brought two trucks but one was not the correct one, ended up getting a third truck and then they switched the two smaller trucks for a big one. Am adding a few pictures of their damage, again this is only a sample. Yet they don't want to pay anything, one excuse after another. Do not trust this company.
