Enter Tom, who wasted no time giving me a simple breakdown of what to expect for the inspection. He responded right away. I do not have experience dealing with many inspectors but Tom assured that he is well-diverse in his field, and proved it with a sample report. I did compare his report to others in the area and I liked the layout of his more. TH Inspection seemed a bit pricier than its competitors but I do not cheap out when it comes to analyzing details. I'm glad I went with my gut because Tom reported more plumbing issues than I had imagined, and noted all recommendations for every discrepancy. He even found a dead animal in the crawl space of the house! Brave man to say the least. I also was not present due to my work schedule, but had my realtor present with Tom. My realtor told me that he saw Tom looking through every nook and cranny, and spent his time making sure to note anything that was loose or sticking out when it wasn't supposed to. Lastly, Tom takes Zelle as his main form of payment. I understand it may prove as a challenge for some but I don't normally carry cash. Many millennials that I know seem to follow suit, and this can prove to be a lucrative method of handling house escrow drama without affecting your work schedule. I took care of my whole inspection and transaction through email, txt, and Zelle. Eugene showed up early already scoping out the property before our arranged time and you can definitely tell he is a professional. He was extremely thorough on top of being knowledgeable. He answered every question I had in detail and you can tell he knows what he is doing. There wasn't an inch that Eugene didn't look at and even though it was just a general inspection, he definitely showed his attention to detail. Thermal imaging and pole-guided video recording of the roofs even on an extremely windy days show that Eugene doesn't believe in just doing the bare minimum and goes the extra mile. Every step of the way, Eugene was always pleasant to talk to, he noted down voice memos of each area we covered to make sure he didn't forget any details. I never felt rushed and truly felt that he had my best interest at hand. Any discrepancies in meeting the code requirements, he would point out to me and explain why this should be.
