When I replaced them as my seller, I was able to get a buyer at over 10% higher of a price. If you do work with them as property managers, just don't give them your credit card. They'll spend like it's Christmas on their contractor friends.

I want to start off by saying that Cheyenne Schmierer has been nothing but kind and very professional. All the praise goes to her. I'm sure she doesn't enjoy receiving complaints when it's not her doing. Brookdale Estates in Ridgecrest, CA is basically a retirement community (aside from a few residents who aren't of that age). My wife and I have owned a rental property there since 2016, and one of the main things that caught our eye was the well-manicured grounds. Truly, aside from a few places locally, Brookdale Estates has--or rather, had--the nicest landscaping around. The grass was always immaculate, the trees trimmed perfectly, and the leaves and trash were always taken care of. To top it off, the entire community was always managed in-house -- it never needed an outside brokerage firm stepping in. But things happen: people move, pass on, whatever it may be. Life happens. Then along came Frontier Real Estate Services, who took over in April of this year. In just six short months, the place has become almost unrecognizable. Sadly, not in a good way -- it looks terrible. They got rid of the one constant there, our yard service, Alex, who was also the best around. I've heard different things as to why they had to switch, but that's not my place. I'll just say that Ridgecrest has lawn-care companies on every corner and they can't even manage that??!! Still, no one was going to care for it like Alex did -- that's a fact. When I was told, "We are working to address that concern," it told me they don't have things together. That was two weeks ago, and still, nothing has changed. I genuinely feel bad for Cheyenne, but I let her know that I won't be paying my HOA fee until things get turned around. She explained the ramifications, etc., etc. I'm aware -- but honestly, I don't care. I think everyone there should do the same. It's not just the yard that's become an issue, but that's the one thing I care most about right now. I told Cheyenne this: I would much rather pay the $185 HOA fee -- but what's the point if they can't even take care of their end? Seriously, it's the least they can do.

His own mother writes fake reviews online for her son and the Gordon Team on fastexpert.com The NET SHEET is imperative to get from them prior to setting a list price. I'm an accountant and provided him my own net sheet once ridiculous offers started coming in with 9%+ overall closing costs. I was attempted to be gas lit and Sheeza told me under pressure of me pushing back HARD to her lopsided negotiating that only benefited the buyer and her commissions with a 9% closing costs for me to eat as " the first offer is usually the best". If that is your best then there is a problem here in this group, brokerage and town overall. Know your consumer rights. No integrity at all from the people I worked with at this brokerage.

She called me to cancel agreement with the buyer. It was a 20 day escrow cash by and she didn't confirm until two weeks after that we didn't have a deposit. and now we are on last day of escrow and they still don't have a signature and money in the bank and it's 4 o'clock of escrow closing date.

We fixed ourselves again..because that was promised, and our outlets?? Never fixed! We had to drain our pool to put the filter in, which in turn this company had painted out pool with house paint, he claims he had painted the pool with "ocean blue" pool paint, our pool was white!! How is that you flip houses? And put a band aid on them...I feel fortunate enough to have fixed the problems ourselves, but I feel bad for the next family that won't be so fortunate.

I was just typing in the names of different cities and seeing what kind of stuff was available, not realizing that every time I marked a property as a "favorite," my contact information was being shared with the real estate agent who was responsible for that territory. How effing embarrassing! I got a bunch of emails from realtors saying, "Hey, do you want to check out this property? yadda yadda yadda" and I was MORTIFIED. I hate inconveniencing people by mistake! I typed up a little email to each of them and told them I might qualify for a cardboard shack at the side of the road, but that was about it, and I apologized for bugging them. ** THIS IS WHERE MICHAEL RUIZ STOOD APART FROM THE CROWD. No one else wanted to waste their time on me after I told them I was poor. But Mike wrote me back, even AFTER I told him that I couldn't afford anything at the moment cuz I lost my job and I'm only working part-time at a very low paying gig, etc. I cried on his cyber shoulder like a weirdo. I would have understood if I never heard from him again. He wasn't going to make any money off of me, and I was a poor use of his valuable time. But that's not what happened. He gave me advice and took a genuine interest in what I had to say. Mike took the time to keep in touch with me and find out more about me and my living situation. He answered some questions that I was too embarrassed to ask a Realtor before, and he showed me what steps I would need to take in the future if my financial situation improved. He's a genuinely decent person. And that's a rare thing to say about a Realtor, right? It's like a car salesman! It's hard to trust them, I think. If you were to list the personal qualities that you wanted in a Realtor, the top five character traits would most likely be: honest, has your best interests at heart, willing to take the time to talk to you, and makes you feel confident that he is going to follow through on any concerns you might have. He has already done this for me, and he had nothing to gain. Wouldn't you want someone like him if you were looking to buy/rent a home in the Bakersfield to Santa Maria area? I think he has proven himself to be super trustworthy and down to earth. Give him a chance. I hope that one day, I will have enough money saved up to buy a property from him.
