It was easy to rent our space and once we arrived, we could not get over how spectacularly beautiful the entire resort is. We love the mature trees and well manicured landscape throughout this amazing resort. There's so much to do there, many amenities. We visited our family during their stay at Aztec RV Resort and we loved it so much that we bought Lot 22! We now rent out Lot 22 directly to travelers so they can enjoy it until we retire in a year or so. This is an owners Class A RV Resort, rigs must be 15 years old or newer and 26' or longer in length. Pet Friendly and kid friendly, so bring the whole family! A beautifully landscaped RV Resort that impresses you during the drive to the guard gated entrance. There are basic lots, lots with Tiki Huts and lots with casitas. Some owners even rent their RV with the lot... Tons of things to do in the amenity circle; pickleball, tennis, shuffleboard, horseshoes, putting green, volleyball a fitness center, library and a laundry facility. Plus a club house with planned activities. Outdoor BBQ area with tiki huts and dining tables with chairs. Renters have full access to all amenities. We've stayed here on a couple of occasions and absolutely love it. Very clean, well maintained and beautifully landscaped. It's a rather large RV resort and is Class A rigs only. Staffed security guard at the gate and very efficient check in. Sites are spacious, private and have a mix with tiki huts, coach houses on cement and/or pavers with full hook ups. Swimming pool, putting green, Pickleball etc. We will return and have recommended Aztec to friends as well. read more

first of all you must understand this is a owned condominium property. it is run by a association of owners. aztec is by far the finest lots available in the area. this includes visually and location. a little bit west but still ft. laud-pompano. the aztec is primarily a snowbird community. the property is mostly sold out to individual owners. there are limited lots available for rent or lease. stop by take a look or rent for short term while passing through. you will be impressed. If I were tasked with designing and building the ultimate RV resort I would be hard pressed to do better than this one. The sites are huge, easily 2-3 times larger than most parks we visit. The landscaping is lush and tropical. It sits right off the turnpike and is very easy to get to. Class A motorhomes only. read more

The resort is very nice with good size lots for RVs, a nice pool and pickle ball courts. If I were to rate the resort on amenities and grounds, I would rate it very high but the people who inhabit the resort leave a lot to be desired. The issue is, if you are American you are treated like a second class citizen. The French Canadians were not only not friendly, they were downright rude and would not even address us in English. Everything, even Karaoke is in French which is fine, but it would have been nice to know this before booking because as nice as the resort is, I would go elsewhere before being treated like that again. They obviously cater to French Canadians and don't much care for Americans. I've been going to campgrounds or RV resorts for more than 25 years and never experienced anything like this before. Holy cow...you want to live in the lap of luxury while staying in your camper? This is the place. Sites are landscaped and private, with palm trees and buffers so that you dont see or hear your neighbors. The resort is filled with millionaire RV travelers who are staying on their own private lux sites in their Prevost Busses, with Bentley's in tow. We felt like the poor people here. The staff was friendly and accommodating, our neighbors were very nice, the facilities were clean and resort like. Minutes to beaches, and shopping. This is one of the best RV resorts we have ever experienced. read more

Aztec RV Resort in Margate, Florida, just lost my business. 1. The security guard was very unfriendly and made my wife uncomfortable. 2. Once I found my site (without any resort assistance), the water service was broken. The power did not work. There was an infestation of insects all around the hookups (because of standing water because it is not maintained). 3. I called the office and reported the broken service. The rep said somebody would call me back. I waited 45 minutes and never received a call. 4. After not hearing for 45 minutes, I redialed the office, the person who answered the phone informed me since she didn't know about it I didn't call her. She put me on hold for 5 minutes before she came back on the line. When she did, I informed her I had ordered a package online, and it was to be delivered by FedEx. She told me that because of Covid, they do not receive packages, and I should have given my site number to the shipper because they refuse all mail that comes to the office for guests. I could not have known my site because I wasn't checked in. I was also informed in their welcome package, "do not come to the office because of COVID, and they don't want to see customers. Mind you, this is the end of April, and most of the state is already vaccinated. Mind you; the resort was 90% vacant. The resort is surrounded by apartment communities in a less then desirable part of town. 5. She refused to refund. I've called my credit card company and filed a dispute and chargeback. On the road, I called Palm Beach Motorcoach resort, and they accommodated us with a great site. read more

When we first decided to live part-time in Florida, we stayed at a couple of other RV parks.. And i am so happy i did more research and found Aztec. Yes it is a little more pricey then the other locations. But you cannot compare any of them to this Park.. This is the Ultimate RV Resort.. You can stay short term or buy like we did. We stayed our first week and decided this was the place. So instead of renting we purchased. I see a few reviews they only complain about the french canadians. Well everyone we have met is super nice.. some just don't speak english.. but they will still wave if they see you everyday .. It is pet friendly , kid friendly park.. Our english community here in the park has amazing people.. So if you are looking for the best.. place this is it. read more

We stayed here 4 different times for long weekends and although it's more expensive than other RV resorts in the area, it's well worth the money to us. The resort is pretty easy to get to, as it's somewhat close to the freeway. They have a long drive in and a security gate at the entrance of the resort. Upon arrival, we were met by the security guard who directed us to the main office for check in. The office people were very friendly, both on the phone and in person. Many people speak French at this resort, but that hasn't really been a problem because everyone had been very friendly and there are still a lot of people who speak English. The resort itself has a couple miles of well kept roads. Each lot is very well maintained with lush grass/landscaping and nice pavers. There are quite a few lots with tiki huts and small modern RV homes that seem to fit very well with the landscaping. Most of the RVs are newer, high end and very well maintained, which is a nice change from the run down RV parks we have stayed at in the past. The pool and rec area is very well maintained, as are the tennis courts (although we haven't seen them being used). Overall, it seems like a very nice place for a winter home. I don't know about the internal issues and there does seem to be a lot of unsold lots, but from the viewpoint of an occasional visitor, it's well worth a trip to check it out for yourself. read more

I wish I could rate this gorgeous resort 5 stars. But it doesn't meet up to a 5 star rating. I will first say Aztec is gorgeous. It is huge and beautiful. It looks like you are in Hawai it is so gorgeous. So the look of the park is what the the 3 stars are for. Everything else about the park is zero stars. The park has to many problems. It is scary as the Canadians are just wild and not very smart to see what havock they can cause. They drive like maniacs in the park and I have brought this to the attention of the office and it seems like the staff does not care about the safety of others in the park to mention this issue to them. Godforbid, One of these drivers will accidently kill someone eventually, if they are not told to stop driving crazily around the park. It dangers everyone at the park. But it appears that Canadians are treated like gold. They are treated with royalty because money talks, but safety for others is not important to the park. The Canadians can do no wrong. They blast their music all late hours keeping us up. There is a curfew in the rules that music must be off at a certain hour. They do not care and the staff does not bother to come and tell them that. Also, There is not real security at the park. Why bother with a gate and a partime or sometimes guard? The code to get in the gate is posted always on the keypad before you get to the gate. For the 3000 dollars a month fee you would think they would hire a full time guard and not have the security code for all the public to see at all times. It's crazy they even say they have security when they really dont. And every Rv resort I have been to provides Wifi service to the park. This one does not. When I called and made reservations I was told they have WIFI for the park. The woman is a liar. when I got there she said to get wifi come into the front office and you could use our wifi. What a rip off,for 3000 dollars a month they can't even provide wifi to the park. Lastly, this is not the parks fault but the second you driveout of the gorgeous, beautiful park to go shopping or anywhere, or just leaving, you are in the slums. It is so depressing when you leave the park and see what a horrible, dangerous neighborhood you are in.It's one step away from the hood. read more

This place is gorgeous. This is not about the resort. The sales office at entrance to resort who sell up to $700,000 spots has a woman names Annie who is the rudest person I have ever met. How they can have her trying to sell a lot is beyond me. She had no mask on and tried to kick me out of office because I had 6 layers of paper towels covering my face and mouth just to ask if she got my Amazon package. She told me she didn't have to wear a mask. Would not give me her bosses name and told me Amazon packages were to go to my site not her! I had packages delivered at my site before but for whatever reason it was delivered to office. I was sent up there by another very nice staff at another office. My husband went back up there to get her bosses name and again she refused to give it to him and again she had no mask on. The resort has now been reported to the Broward Co Health Dept for non compliance. Kindness goes a long way Annie!!! read more

After a short-notice move to Florida for work, we found ourselves needing to hunt down an RV park for the winter. In most parts of the country, that's no big deal. But this is Florida, snowbird central, where RV park reservations for the winter months are often made a full year in advance. On a whim, I called these guys (their old web site didn't say anything about having rental lots available; most of their lots are individually owned, condo style) in October. They still had a dozen or so winter slots available, so we headed right out and checked them out. The property itself is beautiful. It is huge (600+ sites) and immaculately landscaped. Amenities are amazing- 2 pools, 2 hot tubs, a gym, several sport courts, guarded front gate, and a big clubhouse. During The Season, a small restaurant runs out of the clubhouse for breakfast and lunch and they have regular wine-soaked happy hours and gatherings. (ETA after reading some of the other reviews-- yes, they do have bathrooms near the pool, in the gym, and in the clubhouse, along with a laundry room. There is one tiny shower in the bathroom of the office, but they definitely are not encouraging you to use their showers. Also, it is very quiet during the summer when the snowbirds have moved back north. So, like all SoFL RV parks, they don't have any activities going on then...) Rent for the spaces was high, naturally. It's a really nice place. But if you're going to be a recurring snowbird or long-term resident, the annual lease is not really all that bad. And even their winter monthly rates are not all that more than most of the dumpy RV parks around town. Now, I can see where the other reviewer ran in to personality problems with the residents during their stay. The resort is owned by French Canadians, marketed to French Canadians, and populated almost entirely by French Canadians during the winter. And they are a newer Class A only resort, so they narrow down their target clientele pretty tightly. Our 14 year old assembly line coach was certainly one of the more down-market RVs next to the rows of million dollar Prevosts. But... everyone we ran in to was at least cordial if not outright friendly. Many of them don't speak English at all, so they are very aware of the language barrier-- and that often comes across as a cold shoulder. They do have the English social group so that the small percentage who are not straight from Quebec can get together. But at no time did we ever feel unwelcomed because we were younger, less independently wealthy, more American, or more monolingual than most. read more

We have lived here for the last 3 years. The pads are large and lots of room between you and your neighbor. The pools, hot tub, and weight room are amazing. It's put together so beautifully. As with many places in Florida there are many snowbirds that flock here during the winter months. The main group at this location are from Quebec so information is provided in both French and English and French is the primary language in this park. Just be patient when driving as there are no sidewalks and people walk, skate and bike on the road. read more

This is one of the most unfriendly Rv Resorts we've ever stayed in. Most of the residents are from Quebec and beyond RUDE!!! They actually have an "English Speaking Club" as if WE are in another country!!! No one says hello, goodbye or Your Welcome!! They look right thru you. This place is a five star resort during off season. Huge lots, some with tikis at an extra cost. The landscaping is beautiful, the gym is well stocked and the office staff is great. It's a huge park and great for walks. The downside: the park is located in Margate, which is a sketchy area of town, and if you stay during the busy season, you have to deal with the Québécois. I'm Canadian and was so happy when I first found this park but that changed really fast. The French guests are so incredibly rude! I give the park full stars because it's not their fault. But wow, seriously the rudest people on earth at this park! I previously worked for a company out of Quebec and know that not all French people are like this so please don't blame the park, Canadians or the French for what you encounter at this park. If you can ignore your neighbors or stay off season, you will love this place. read more
