Not impressed at all. The tanning bed that was suggested for me had one bulb out underneath me and one dimming out above me. Later in the evening I noticed two stripes down the side of my butt. Absolute waste of money. read more

If you're going to go tanning this is the place to go. I personally no longer tan but when I did this was the only place in the east end I would tan at! I was going for 5+ years & I loved it! Super clean, incredibly well trained staff, fair prices, great selection on lotions. I have oodles of annoying allergies & the staff never once got annoyed (or showed it at least :p ) when I had to figure out what cream I could use next. They ALWAYS answers any question that I had. I always loved coming here. It turned into something I would look forward to. I've checked out other tanning places in the area & they're all garbage compared to Aztec. If you want to tan, go here! They have the best spray tans I've ever had. Only place in Toronto I will go for a spray tan. The best spray tans, hands down! read more

Visiting Toronto, prior to a trip to the sunny south, I selected Aztec Tanning to do some pre-tanning due to it's convenient location. BIG MISTAKE!!!! First session went fine, with all the expected paperwork and warnings about the dangers of over-tanning. Did a quick 10 min session with the expected results. Went back two days later, for round two, when things went bad. The very kind staff and I agreed that I was now ready for 12 mins on a standard bed. The session itself seemed okay but by the time I got home I knew something was up, or more correctly BURNT! A quick glance in the mirror revealed the beginnings of a mega burn on my back! You could actually see vertical red strips where the individual bulbs had been. Over the course of the next few days the burn "matured" making for some very uncomfortable showers and more than a few tender moments. The interesting thing was, my front was fine...no burns what so ever! Two days later, with my back still burnt, I returned to Aztec to express my concerns. The gal there exclaimed "You must have been in bed number 10!" she then explained that they KNEW about the defective bulbs and someone should have warned me. At NO time did she apologize or mention any attempt to fix the bed. What exactly the "warning" would have accomplished, I'm not sure. So based on my experience I would definitely NOT recommend Aztec Tanning. I find it unbelievable that in an industry so conscientious about the effects of burning, that they would willingly operate a defective bed that inflicts the exact damage the advocate against. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! Lots of other tanning services available who actually take their profession seriously. Suggest you investigate using one of them. read more

Watch your minutes computer always down when you ask where your minutes are owner gets nasty and makes out your lying

Watch your minutes! She'll steal them if you don't pay attention- with a straight face. She'll claim certain beds take 3 times more of your minutes, but won't tell you this when she assigns you one. I would never go back to Aztec tanning again because the owner can't be trusted. She also said that tanning cream can't be used again after being frozen because it picks up bacteria or something like that - she'd be better for scam telemarketing. read more

I had a spray tan done there that was very unprofessional. They only had one person running the whole store, so she interrupted my tan 5 times to run out front to assist other customers. The whole process took close to an hour because of all the time she spent away from me. I had an obviously uneven application which seemed far too dark when I left the studio and so was too nervous to let the full colour develop. I showered the product off after less than an hour. It was a "night and day" experience compared to the many spray tans I've had applied at home in Calgary which have all taken about 10 minutes and given perfect results. I would NOT recommend this place for spray tans. read more
