I have been a client of Pierre's for 11 years and I have always been so very impressed with his exceptional artistic abilities. When I first contacted Pierre it was to have my eyebrows done. I started to notice that my eyebrows were becoming thinner, to the point I barely had them. This is an hereditary problem in my family, I didn't think it was possible to do anything about it and it was very depressing! I then found Pierre's website and to my surprise he did male eyebrows. I was very pleased with the outcome, they looked so natural and masculine! This was just the beginning I have always been very self conscious about my thinning hair. By the time I was 24 years old my hair line was receding and the density of my hair thinning on the top. I was devastated and feeling very depressed. Back in the 90's there was hair transplants, but again just as they are today the cost was just to expensive. The next level was hair weave systems they were called, which were either braided into your existing hair or glued around the parameter of stronger hair follicles. I had chosen this method and again over the course of a few years this too was a costly method. You had to have two hair systems because one would have to have hair added to it, after a few weeks. Therefore you needed a replacement to wear while your other system had hair added, the fees and maintenance again became costly over time. I decided to shave my head and be done with all that costly expenditures! But over the years I become very self conscious and having a shaved head just didn't match my personality and I was feeling older than I should. Then Pierre approached me with this revolutionary procedure SMP! Pierre was very knowledgeable and talked me through every step of what I could expect from having the SMP done. Having known Pierre for many years I felt very confident in his ability to do the procedure. For me it was painless I didn't really feel much at all, Pierre was very engaging with me during the process explaining what he was doing and the 3 hours it took to do the SMP didn't really feel that long at all. When he was finished I was absolutely astonished at the transformation, I looked almost 15 years younger! Nov 19/19: Perfecting Touch - Pierre Ly Review In a sea of service providers, I was reminded of what true hands-on customer care truly is by Pierre Ly. Having extensively vetted a plethora of microbladers in Toronto/Richmond Hill region for the past 3 months, I wanted someone that was in my city, since my usual Go-To person was in Boca Raton, Florida. Not all microbladers are created equal and not all clients are created equal. For me, doing due diligence is essential... seeing their work, interacting with them, seeing their work environment and most of feeling the energy of the person who is going to leave their personal mark on me. I was usually greeted by the staff of the top microbladers and did not get to speak directly to the microblader... I was told that their microblader "does not do over other people's work"... when the microblader was not available for the dates I requested, a different person was recommended "who was just as good if not better" than the person I was vetting... their brow before/after pics looked straight off the runway... there were no pictures of the actual work space... there were lots of generic spa pics... to name a few of my concerns before I relinquished my brows to just anyone. Of the numerous microbladers that I came across and walked away from, the one person that I kept coming back to compare them to was Pierre Ly. His website was transparent: Pierre's workspace and office looked EXACTLY as you see it on his website... calm, tranquil, incredibly clean and minimalistic and with great music to destress anyone who walks in. What won me over the most, were his before/after pictures of "real" people ... especially those individuals who had no brows before due to health issues. When I requested an appointment, Pierre personally reached out to me and never once hinted that he "does not do over other people's work". Okay guys, here's my experience at Perfecting Touch Permanent Cosmetics! I absolutely had to share my 'permanent eyebrows' experience as it has simplified my life beyond measure. I had been agonizing about doing this procedure for literally years...sounds familiar? :) To give you a quick background on my eyebrows, I was missing large parts of both of my brows as a result of years of over tweezing. I also only had half of my left brow remaining as I had stupidly used some strong hydrocortisone cream for a rash in that area, and it literally removed all of the hair. So bad situation... I have very bad itchy irritated eczema on my face and going through all the stressors of pregnancy and the newborn stage I lost most of my eyebrow hairs. I'm a 50 year old woman and my eyebrows were thinning over the years, I was getting tired of filling them in every day. I was recommended by a friend, who is a Professional that recently had permanent eyeliner by Pierre. During my appointment I found out that he has several years experience and a client list of over 6,000 including many professionals. He showed me pictures of various thicknesses of eyeliners and did stress that he starts out with a thin line and goes from there pending on personal preference. Pierre is the most talented and professional tattoo artist I met. Fortunately for me, I met Pierre after having a bad experience with another tattoo "artist" who did my eyebrows. I always had horrible eyebrows. I bounced from one esthetician to another having them waxed or threaded and each one did a horrible job to the point where I had bald patches and hair didn't grow back or grew back in different directions which then left me with two different brows. I cannot say how impressed I am with Pierre Ly of Perfecting Touch. I recently made an appointment with Pierre after reading the reviews and information from his website. I was seeing him to have my eyebrows done. I had done this procedure 4-5 years ago and the two procedures were worlds apart. Pierre is very professional and skilled and this was evident as I ended up being there for about an hour, including paperwork, etc. whereas at the previous place I was there for 2.5 hours.
