It's not just another crowded noisy bar you'd find in Cabo San Lucas, it's actually quite the opposite. It is a family run place that the owner and wife run themselves and are two of the nicest friendliest people we met. We were new to mezcal in general and they took the time to explain everything to us and answer our questions. We also learned that Santiago, the owner, built the bar himself and that this is the only mezcaleria in the Los Cabos area. This bar is his passion and really a labor of love. They have about 20 different varieties of mezcal behind the bar, including some that are more commercially produced and some that are more artisanal which I recommend. They even serve tasting flights that come with 3 different selections so you can try a wider variety. They also serve mezcal based cocktails (which are simple and delicious), cold mexican beers, and snacks that perfectly compliment the mezcal. The space is fully air-conditioned which is nice and there is also free WiFi available. The restrooms are modern and clean, and they also have a large projector screen at the back playing sports or news or whatever is interesting. I hope to visit Cabo again soon, and this will for sure be one of the first places I return to.
