My wife and I began to plan our wedding 14 months ago, we are the type that like to be very prepared, everything up to date, all aspects considered and details handled. We were looking for someone with the same mentality and ability to get things done. We interviewed with a few other coordinators about 6 months ago leading up to our selection of Carolyn. Carolyn was different - we could tell that she knew what she was doing and wasn't going to bore us with repeated questionnaires and minute details. I distinctly remember her saying "You shouldn't have to worry about anything the day of, things WILL go wrong, but it's my job to make sure its handled" - this is what sold me on her. Carolyn was easy to talk to via email, calls, texts and in person meetings. Quierra planned my birthday party for a small group of my closest friends. (The peacock themed party in the photos). It was so helpful to have her come in and take care of all the planning from beginning to end. I didn't have to stress or worry about a thing! Everything was beautiful and there was such an attention to detail; right down to the hand-cut peacock napkin holders, hand-cut confetti, and gorgeous banner (which now hangs in my bedroom!). She is responsive ( gets back to you quickly ) and is super flexible with changes you may ask of her along the way. I really enjoyed brainstorming with her and when my big day finally came- my most favorite feature of my wedding were my flowers. I had so manny little mishaps on my wedding day, from bad weather moving my ceremony inside, to late photographers, to not getting my cake- but the bouquets and arrangements Jane and her staff put together and displayed made my day. When she delivered my bouquets, I was a mess due to the mishaps that already occurred but when I saw the bouquet she made me, I was brought to tears of joy because it was everything I wanted and then some. It was perfect. I still fawn over the arrangements she created for the arch (which was somewhat last minute because I originally didn't have an arch nor was it supposed to be indoors) as well as exactly the style I wanted for the aisle arrangements. We were looking for chic and elegant decorations for our annual gala for You Can Help Too…read more(fundraising for orphanages). Kim was tasked with transforming the rooms to a 1920s Speakeasy theme. As the guests begin to arrive all we heard were ohhhsss and awwwsss. The guests were greeted with a pianist playing jazzy wonderment to their ears, flickering candles dancing, bartenders pouring adults concoctions, and wait staff tirelessly feeding the crowd.
