They said they were consulting their attorney.... Don't know the pit one of that... It's unfortunate because my other vendors and venues worked with me the best way they could. Grand Island Mansion provided a full refund for my wedding, my photographer provided a partial refund and offered me a credit to use for other photograph services, videographer full refund, florist provided a partial refund and a credit for future services, hair/makeup full refund, AirbnB refund etc. I just don't think they handled this well..never heard from them & we're out over $750 for services never rendered do to no fault of either parties. I understand businesses were doing the best they could to survive but there was no follow through or communication to come to a mutual agreement.

(Our wedding was in May 2019) Long Version: Doug and Dara were the best to work with! Not only did they help bring some of our crazy ideas to fruition, they also offered some unique ideas to make the night memorable as well. My only regret is that I didn't take advantage of all the special things they offered. They were great with coordinating our wedding and worked seamlessly with our venue and other vendors. It was raining on the day of our wedding, so Doug and Dara scrambled to move us back and forth between our original outside venue and an inside option. Ultimately, we were able to make the outdoor ceremony work. Thank goodness we had them to coordinate with everybody. She really kept me and my husband from feeling the stress . The ceremony sound was perfect! Doug provided all the microphones for my now husband, our officiant, and wedding singer; they worked flawlessly throughout. And as a result, our wedding videographer was able to capture our wedding vows clearly and with no drop offs. Inside the ballroom for the reception, the lights they provided were fantastic! They illuminated the room and really captured the mood of the night. Soft calming colors were used during dinner and speeches, but when it was dance time, the club lights came out. Everyone had a great time! We are so happy we chose Music on the Move for DJ, MC, and lights. They made wedding planning that much easier and were so much fun to work with!

We worked with her recently just to rent a chuppah and chair covers for our wedding. She was absolutely professional, great at keeping in communication with me, and she did a timely beautiful job. A lot of the rental places I looked at in Sacramento were very expensive, especially for a chuppah (wedding canopy). We just wanted to rent a simple canopy draped with pretty white fabric, nothing crazy. It seemed (1) impossible to find, and (2) crazy-expensive when we did find it. Marine saved the day! She had BY FAR the best price on a beautiful chuppah that she hand-draped with gorgeous ivory satin fabric (although she had many different fabrications and colors to choose from). We were so happy with it. It looked absolutely elegant. She has pictures all over her web site of the sort of thing she offers. The chair cover search was another nightmare. Many places in town are very expensive ($4 to $7 per chair cover) and their covers were often stained and fraying. Marine's chair covers looked immaculate and were far less expensive. When it comes to wedding vendors, you want people you can trust to show up on time and do a good job. I had a great experience with Marine, and I highly recommend her.

I said, "Best Wedding Ever," and "Amazing," and "Super Fun." And let me tell you, not only did my now husband and I enjoyed ourselves and had a BLAST, but our family, coworkers, and friends are STILL talking about how amazing our wedding was. And yes, a lot of how THEY described our wedding was what I wanted our guests to experience. He's incredibly detailed, knows what he's doing, knows how to do it, listens to you, works with you in ways you wouldn't even expect, and just goes ABOVE AND BEYOND the call of duty. He feels like a friend who would do anything to ensure your wedding happiness. Everything was flawless. Randy is a detailed person and truly CARES about his clients and giving them the best and giving them a stress-free as possible wedding experience. There was a lot of homework on our end to do, but everything was necessary and now that our wedding is over and was an absolute success, we are SO THANKFUL we decided to work with Randy and his team. We purchased a package from him. It included Randy who was the MC and he pretty much acted as the main coordinator for the ceremony and reception. He worked with the food service staff, the wedding venue coordinator and our photographers to ensure every bullet point of the night was done and flowed smoothly. The package also included a photo booth with unlimited prints and props, a videography team, lights for the reception room for dancing and ambience, and microphones and speakers for the entire wedding from start to finish. No regrets on purchasing this package and paying a little more. It made the whole wedding feel like it was on a whole different level above any other wedding I've ever been to. And I've been to a lot of weddings. We knew about Randy from 3 of my friends, and we are also going to join the crowd here and say that this is a person you WANT on your team if you have a big wedding, or if you just want your wedding to be AMAZING. My family and I booked reservations at this hotel for two nights…read more The exterior is very nice and clean, The front desk employees were EXTREMELY friendly and welcoming. The interior of the hotel itself is very clean though it is a little on the older side, it is well kept. Our room was very clean and soooo inviting. The beds are very comfortable, the parking lot was less than fifty steps to the front door of our room, the lobby is large with tables, chairs and sofas scattered throughout the interior of the hotel for all guests to relax , study/use computers or have a meal or a cup of coffee. There is a convenient bistro located in the hotel, a mini snack shop, a Starbucks coffee shop, a small but very nice gym, a pool and jacuzzi and numerous tables and chairs in a covered patio-like area adjacent to the pool . The ONLY two complaints I had was that the AC worked PERFECTLY but it was noisy. The AC went off every ten to fifteen minutes which kept the room sooooo nice and cool but again, it was noisy. The other issue was the small television in our room. It was perhaps a thirty-two inch TV which is rare nowadays as most hotels offer fifty to fifty-five inch televisions. The picture was very clear and did the job but I am definitely prefer a larger picture. Again, not a big deal but definitely worth mentioning. I would stay here again as it is a nice hotel and very convenient to the Cal Expo which is the reason my family and I are here, to attend the California State Fair which is approximately 1/2 mile (at the most) from our hotel

This is my opinion…read more The good Customer service at the front desk was really attentive and answered all my questions and I had quite a few The lobby was clean looking and relatively relaxing We stayed in a two queen bedroom room on the second floor The beds were made nicely and fluffed pillow stand leaning against each other nicely Comforter and blankets tucked Rolling desk was clean and sofa and the little sofa foot rest was in the corner by the windows They did have towels and a hair dryer for us The not so great Right as we enter we see a towel laying haphazardly in front of the coffee machine. The coffee machine spout where you pour water in or the spout was not clean you can see residue The shower tub where you can put bar soaps was absolutely not clean There was no extra tissues or toilet paper The toilet I had to keep my hand on the flushed in order for it to flush all the way through if not it just stops The air conditioner heater you can hear it on and off One of the doors did not open to my key card to get let into the building so... we went trekking and confused about where in our room is since we exited the door with the not working on our key card door No hot water in the lobby for guests... Interesting stay but the front desk was extremely helpful!
