Ohhh the Buendner Nusstorte at Widmer... I still dream about those! Can't get them anywhere in the world except the Graubuenden it seems, and Widmer makes a delicious one! Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Arosa as well. read more

We stopped here for a bite to eat, before heading up the mountain…read more There's a restaurant, as well as a bakery/Confectionery shop. The restaurant has an indoor and "outdoor" seating area. We sat in the outdoor area, so we could take advantage of the views. The space has a glass cover, and a lot of heaters. We ordered a pasta and cheese dish (akin to a mac and cheese), and a sandwich. Pasta dish, as we were told, was not too big. This was not accurate. it was big.. and very filling. My wife and i concentrated on this.... and she also ate 1/2 of her sandwich, which was also very good. Service was friendly, and the decor is simple and nice. The store is also great, and a nice space to walk through.
