They didn't have the color wig I wanted in the back so they gave me the one off the mannequin and gave me a percentage off. By the time I finally completed my research I was a mess. After asking around the office a coworker, with great hair I might add, recommended Tre Regazze. I am so glad I came here. The staff is edgy yet classy. Let me explain. I moved from Miami where the Edward Scissor hands of magic used to cut my hair- I felt like a runway model with a hairdo no one had every time I left there- in a good way. I felt like I'd never experience that feeling again. Lo and behold- Tre Regazze entered my life. Here are the top things I love about them. 1. The stylist actually consulted me prior to touching my hair. She broke out a book of color swatches and asked me to show her pictures from my phone of the haircuts I've had that I like. 2. Once she felt me out, she provided suggestions that were edgy yet entry level. For example, she added darker highlights to the base of my hair to give it a more dynamic look. I never would have requested this, but I LOVE it. 3. My stylist stored everything she did for my hair in her handy iPad customer profile sheet. The next time I went back she pulled it up and remembered the conversation we'd had before- major plus. 4. I receive a text message reminder the day before. 5. I love their new shampoo. It smells great and its natural hemp. 6. I don't feel like I'm being shuffled through a conveyor lineup. I received the attention I felt I deserved. The prices are not the cheapest out there, but they are reasonable. For a cut, and two color highlights I paid $165. Check it out. Best hair place I've found in Memphis. I was prepared to apologize, accept 5 minutes off my time, no problem. But she chewed me out in front of everyone in the salon, during which all employees and customers stopped what they were doing to listen, offered only 20 minutes (do they not build in a few extra minutes for changing clothes and such?), then when I declined, stormed out. My friend and I decided we did not feel comfortable staying for manicures and pedicures, so we went elsewhere. I really tried to give the benefit of the doubt. Later I attempted to speak with the owner/manager and explain that I felt we were treated poorly. She said she was standing there the entire time, we were late, we should have called (five minutes, really?), and chewed me out AGAIN. I told her she had just lost two people's hair business on top of the other business. She said she wasn't going to listen to it, and she hung up on me. I had one witness to the incident in the store and three to the phone conversation. Nobody could believe it. I tried very hard to make this right, to give the benefit of the doubt, but apparently this is how they do business. If you want to be treated with respect, I strongly advise you go elsewhere. I can accept that I was a few minutes late, and that was my fault (we thought we knew where it was, but we did not exactly), but all of that information could have been communicated in a professional and courteous manner instead.

Four Stars -- Great Service, But the Fragrance Process Needs Work…read moreI visited the Cordova location on a holiday weekend Saturday morning, and honestly, they held it together pretty well given how crowded it was. Kudos to the team for keeping up with the rush -- customer service was exceptional. I came in with a mission: find the perfect Burberry fragrance for my mother. Yes, Sephora is pricey, but Mom is worth every penny and then some. The selection was fair -- not overwhelming, but enough to work with. My one real frustration was the fragrance shopping process. There are no fragrances available on the floor -- you have to request them, and an associate has to retrieve them from a drawer. I completely understand why (people can be dishonest, and theft is real), but the execution is a bit clunky. It feels like shopping for shoes -- you pick a few options, they go check the drawer, and more often than not your size... er, fragrance and size... isn't available. If you go one at a time, it becomes a huge time drain. By the time they're back with an answer, they've already moved on to the next customer, and you barely have a moment to regroup and think through your next choice. I'd suggest requesting several options at once to save yourself some back-and-forth. The store layout and organization are the standard Sephora setup, so no surprises there. Despite the fragrance process being a bit of a puzzle, I found what I was looking for and I would definitely return. Just go in with a game plan!
