I've been in for new light bulbs for my car and they can always get me the right part and even though I'm no expert with cars they never try to rip me off. They can also order in if needed but they have lot of the basics in the main shop and then lots of drawers and boxes at the back of the shop too. I also know a friend of mine who is a mechanic gets all his new parts from here and highly recommends them. They also do tyre fittings in a unit at the side, they are probably the cheapest around, so they get booked up quick, I would recommend calling ahead for an appointment.

On confronting the owner he said I've done wheel bearing but other needs doing (alarm bells start ringing a garage that makes work to earn more money) the owner wasn't interested in fixing my car but for more money which I refused and then he told me to get out of the shop and not come back . I have spoken to 4 other garages who have today told me I have been RIPPED off as a bearing costs maximum £100 fitted so more money ive wasted all customers BEWARE that the service you pay for is the service you get because I certainly didn't will never use these again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone stay well clear of these they will soon be on the tv as rogue traders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A warm and welcoming greeting ever time, has given way to referring others to use their service, whatever the need may be. As I did then, I do now highly recommend this garage to those wanting a top job done. From a change of tyres, auxiliary/timing belt, brakes, MOT or Service, the overall work has been exemplary. Droping the car off in the morning and getting that call a few hours later to let me know the car is ready, I have always left a satisfied customer. Being a family man, too, my concerns have been put to rest with the assurance that "No car leaves their forecourt if they believe it's not road worthy." For that added assurance, when dropping your car off and you have nowhere to pass the time, then why not pop next door to Carol's Cafe for a breakfast or coffee.

The manager also recommended a chap with a recovery van who could take us across town to his garage for a very competitive fee (we couldn't even bump start the car as the battery had nothing at all). I would have given 0 rating if that was possible…read more They book you an appointment for repair and you turn up and they make you wait for half an hour and after asking them repeatedly "When are you going to look at my car", they tell you "we can't look at your car today you will have to come in tomorrow". When asked what is the point of appointment then ? the manager said "I don't have time for this" and walked away. Don't bother with these people! Look elsewhere.

The car sold to me seemed in good condition after a further inspection I have a few concerns he sent it to his own garage and said nothing was wrong I then took it to my own garage who immediately assessed and advised it was deemed unsafe with immediate affect. This garage knew I had children and still let me drive away after a BOTCHED MOT if this MOT was done correctly it would of failed. Imagine driving your three very young children around in a vehicle that essentially could of killed us!! Although they can offer repair first when taken to two seprate garages they would not even quote as it is not safe the third said we're looking at over two thousand so then was offered a refund. This took four weeks and lies and lies promises of it coming. Messed me around until I sought legal advice. Thr garage compensated me 200 pound but still did not cover the full cost of the car and not one slight remouese of what hassle this has caused or danger. Auto trader has since had 11 5 star reviews on the same day which are fake knowing full well I will be coming down on them once I received my money. I have reported everything to the right authorities to protect others lives and before someone is killed.

These guys promised so much, but delivered so little. Words cannot describe how disappointed I am with this garage. They put almost the same description on every car....Totally misleading...And it now makes perfect sense why they only gave me 1 months warranty. My daughter lives 70 miles away in Ripon, and thanks to these deceiving cowboys, I haven't been able to see her for 6 weeks. Don't know how people like this sleep at night.
