Their construction managers are rarely on-site and never send communication unless prompted and ownership has failed to compensate for their errors or improve the quality of their service

The nightmare started with the demo. The crew threw glass and other debris out the bathroom window (on the 2nd floor) and made a huge mess. Pieces of old marble countertops were thrown out the window and hit our pergola leaving marks and gashes on the support poles. It took over 2 months to find and pick up all the shattered glass...it was everywhere! Not helpful having 2 dogs that walk in that area. The project manager was a horrible communicator. We were told that the crew would come out on specific days but no one would show up. This was inconvenient in that we would board our dogs when we were told the crew would be there. Additionally, when they did show up, it was only for an hour a day. No urgency on completing the project. Beware and do your homework before hiring this company.

The project itself was very challenging as we are a construction startup with an embedded trade school. So, the space needed to work for accomplished professionals, function for heavy use construction storage, and also be welcoming to students in our training center spaces. Even with such varied requirements, the vertical interior design team pulled off an amazing job, using a combination of third party furniture bids, as well as their in-house custom furniture creation capability. In aggregate, the design, construction, and furniture for a highly polished office, including the construction of glass conference rooms was accomplished for a total price of under $40 per square foot on a large 14,000 square foot office. Getting a beautiful office completed under this price is extraordinarily challenging, and was only possible because of the design team's expertise, and ability to source high quality, reasonably priced fixtures and furniture.
