This is quite the find. My bro in law tipped me off to this. They are family-owned and run business. The two major differences between them and the actual DMV are... 1. No lines, no wait, no appointments needed. Walk in and get it done. 2. They're nice. I'm not 100% sure exactly what other DMV services they offer but I used them to register a used car we bought. Boy, they made it easy. You ever go to the DMV, wait 4 hours, and then find out something is missing or for some reason you have to go home and try again? That's the worst. But with B & C its a 10 minute drive, they kindly explain what you need to do. They even helped me understand something on the registration and how to fill it out to make our lives easier in the future. They know the DMV registration process forwards and backwards. They're very experienced with this stuff. They do charge a small fee, but to me, it's worth it to avoid the DMV. Also, for what it's worth, they're listed on the DMV website as a business partner. If you need to transfer a title, or get california plates, this is the place to go. Usually there is no line and you can drop in anytime. They do not do a lot of services that only the DMV can do, so check first. It does cost a little more, but when you're in that DMV line, you will regret not just coming here! read more

I have been going to B and C for years and over the past few times I have gone there they have lacked customer service. The young gal at the counter doesn't smile or greet you like she is interested in doing her job. They charge fees for the convenience however at this point I rather deal with the DMV directly to get rude service for free. I am extremely disappointed. Absolutely HELPFUL! Bought a vehicle Monday night due to my last being totaled by somebody. Came in here Tuesday around 1pm, Never been here before, So I wasn't sure on what they were going to need. Waited for maybe a minute, and the nice lady with blonde hair helped me and told me everything. Even registered my vehicle since it was 75 days within registration being up. Handled everything within 10 minutes, told me to come back once the smog is done & they will issue my stickers. The fee they charge is like 53$ or something like that, BUT IT IS SO WORTH IT. After I was on the phone (with automated system) and trying to use website for DMV for almost an hour, I almost gave up on trying to get suspension and motorcycle registration done. After being told by brother that B and C could help, I visited them and within 10 minutes, my suspension was lifted. They then told me exactly what I need to do to precede with my registration. Yes, they do charge a fee for their services, BUT is well worth it to avoid the long waits at the DMV. Customer service was great! Highly recommend and most likely will use services again. read more

OK! What a sweet hidden little gem this place is!!! I had to change ownership on my new bike and get an updated registration for it. At the DMV the last time I had to change ownership on a vehicle, it took me about two hours. Today at B&C it took me maybe five minutes. I went in a couple of weeks ago. I stood there for about 5 minutes. The gal in there didnt acknowledge me, looked over at me once and never said a word. Like another poster said, you charge a fee for convenience but not worth it, I turned around and left. You might want to consider getting her some training or replace with someone that enjoys working with the public. read more

3% fee to use debit/credit card, came out to $5.10 to pay for my car registration. This was on top of their $28 service fee.

The service there is horrible. They aren't good in customer relations. They just continued holding a personal conversation for almost five minutes. When the girl came out from the back room, she did not listen to what I requested. I told her all I wanted was to remove my name from the title. She also didn't leave the personalized plates on the vehicle. She issued new plates for the vehicle. I ended up going to DMV and had to pay an additional $43 to get my personalized plates back on the vehicle. In other words, they are incompetent. read more

I heard about this place from my car dealership, strangely enough. It's right down the street from where I live, versus the closest DMV a 25 minutes drive into Petaluma. The front desk lady was very nice and gave me a free estimate for my lost registration. I think the price of $28-$58 is very reasonable considering the convenience they offer and the fact that they are running a small business and have employees to pay. Unfortunately I'm a college student with no extra cash to spare so I went to the DMV after all and waited an hour for what would have been 5 minutes at B & C. DMV never sent me a renewal letter for my registration......so I went to dmv to let them have it but when I showed up the line was insane! I went to b n c registration.....there was two people ahead of me so I figured this might take a while....I was wrong I literally walked in and was out of there with my renewed registration in less then 2 minutes!!
