And now its Sunday where apparently they're closed and im left here still with no access to my material that i paid for. This is extremely frustrating since I've already had issues with them when I originally paid for the material and they delayed giving me my login credentials by two days. I'm severely frustrated and disappointed and at this point I wouldn't recommend. They had good reviews before I chose to work with them but that hasn't been my experience.

The school takes your money and on day one of the class you are unable to withdraw without losing it. The workload is extremely intense and most business professors are not interested in helping the students. There are many technical requirements that are not posted in advance and you are left on your own struggling to figure it all out. I have found that many professors are highly unorganized, unable to spend time helping and don't take the time to learn the course they are teaching or learn English/proper grammar. Currently, I am taking a Statistics class. I just spent 8.5 hours completing the first test had a technical error and failed to count all my answers. Instead of reviewing my test and the answers, my lazy professor's response was "Just take it again." Sure, I have another 8.5 hours to redo this! Thanks for nothing. Also, the technical requirements for this homework are incompatible with my computer's software. I am 6 classes away from graduating and fear this is the end of my road here. Very depressed. Lots of time and money are wasted at SPS. I am beyond disgusted with this institution!

I have been interviewed by large companies for entry level positions in customer service/business development nobody judged my worth based on the degree. Most of the professors are good. They also have virtual extra curricular activities which allows you to make connections and network. The bad: I did not receive adequate preparation for an actual job in the media industry. I did do a journalism internship, but the school did not focus enough on teaching students to use specific styles of writing. The career center should be more familiar with what types of jobs alumni end up taking. The financial aid department needs to be on top of their game. Suggestions for the school: The curriculum would have been more useful if we had classes on topics such as a 3 credit course on SEO (instead of one week unit within a course) or a 9 credit concentration on web design with at least one or two coding courses instead of a 3 credit course that barely scratches the surface. Spend more time developing an alumni network and make sure career services and financial aid are on top of their game.

If a program fails to provide basic pertinent information such as their will be a quiz during this orientation/ interview what else are they gonna leave out... That's dangerous and creates unprepared and potentially misinformed future EMT's I was invited to attend the Senior Care sponsored EMT program Orientation/ Interview in February of 2025 it was never mentioned that I would have to take a test and upon taking that test I scored a 9/10 and was invited to continue to interview with Senior Care on another day which it was never mentioned that their is a two part interview. I ended up getting covid and was unable to attend that second interview and had sent an email and requested to reschedule that second interview however, nobody replied to me. I signed up for the next sponsored orientation and was invited to attend again Thursday, May 22nd, 2025 and attended. There was no mention yet again that I was required to take the same test that I took last time I came in less than 6 months ago, Obviously I was not aiming to score high on the same test I was aiming to simply pass which I did and got a 7/10 not knowing that that this program does not accept those that score 8 or lower which I found out literally yesterday after I pressed Leah for the truth on the phone yesterday which is bias. Upon speaking to Leah on the phone yesterday I wanted to follow up and see if they would be letting me in this sponsored class and explained to her why I scored low and to advocate for myself to start the conversation off she stated " why did you call us for this you could have sent an email" I felt like saying well i would have if you guys had replied to my last one but kept it to myself. Long story short she stated that we do not accept people into the program who score 8 or below. I argued that passing is passing and that my college GPA and my healthcare experience should trump that exam which is logical and practical argument she indicated that they would not accept and being very cloak and dagger and I asked flat out are you accepting me into this program yes or no and she stated no. My time and money was wasted traveling from Far Rockaway. This program has no respect for my time at all but in the end I do not want to be associated with with a program that engages in the shady and bias business practices but in the end it worked out for the best. A snake will always be a snake no matter how many times it sheds its skin.........

All teachers are or have been in the industry for years. The way they teach is very hands on. It's probably one of the very few schools that gives you this much Hands on experience. You learn at class and get to do it in real life the same week. It's very nice that while all the information fresh you get to experience it and really learn how it works. All lectures are connected in a way that help you become a good storyteller. We are learning a lot at New York Film Academy. I'm so happy that I decide to attend here for my BFA in film diploma. Have no regrets. It's so great to be surrounded by creative and passionate people.
