She's very knowledgeable and makes sure you understand and develop the skills to be able to perform it well! I really enjoyed how small the class was (it was only another student and I) especially in this time. I cannot recommend this place enough! It was my first time obtaining my BLS certification and Larissa is a fantastic teacher. The class I had was much smaller (due to Covid precautions) which was great because we received undivided attention from Larissa and we didn't have to share any mannequins. Larissa is a very good teacher, she made sure to ask us questions throughout the course, and I felt very prepared for the exam at the end. I took my BLS class renewal here today in the morning. This place offers afternoon time if you aren't a morning person. It was a very pleasant experience with my instructor Larisa. She is a very kind and respectful lady. We started the class right on time. Larisa was very informational throughout the lessons and everyone got a chance to perform the skills. She gave us feedback throughout which was very helpful. Not only was it a fun experience but I received my BLS certification on the same day of completion only hours later! Ms. Larisa is the best! In all the years I took BLS renewals and ACLS, I never had so much fun in a CPR class. She really acts out the scene with you, shouting "I'll call for help" while you jump into action starting chest compressions. lol This CPR class is much better than some of the ones I have taken in the city, which I paid more and even in hospitals settings. Needed to renew my BLS. Thought of giving this place a try since it was closest to where I live and available on weekends. During the pandemic year, I came to Blue Scrubs Training for a requirement by my school program that would be fulfilled upon attaining a Basic Life Support card from American Heart Association. I was then greeted and taught by world class instructor named Fortune Grunin. Fortune would go on to not only show me the mechanics of what to do upon finding an unresponsive person, but also instilled an energy of leadership to myself and everyone in the room while simultaneously indulging us into the direct details describing what exactly it is that we are doing and how effective or ineffective it could be. Recent as earlier today, I came back after two years elapsed in order to renew this card and this time, with bringing my mother to renew hers. We were a bit late and still invited in by none other than Fortune as well. With composure and patience, she went on to instruct us and fellow students about the actions and knowledge required for a BLS card. We all proceeded to receive our cards several hours later. The consistency with Blue Scrubs Training and its incredible personnel goes above and beyond to standard and Fortune's work ethic represents that and more.
