We had over an acre converted in 2021 and from the start it looked bad. They kept telling us to give it 2-3 years and we believed them and spent thousands and thousands of dollars. Last year they didn't do any maintenance even though we signed a maintenance agreement. This year they are not responding to calls and e-mails at all. Finally got a second opinion and they told us what we knew all along...this is bad. They would be ashamed if any of their installations looked like ours. My advice is to save yourself time and money and choose someone that actually knows what they are doing. I should point their talent at gaslighting. For a few years they told us convincingly it looks good and it's supposed to look like that. In the end though it still just thistles and weeds!

The location is a little out of the way, but is worth the visit. The backyard garden is very nice, and there is a diverse selection of annuals, perennials, vegetables, trees/shrubs, and decorations. Everyone staffed knows their stuff, and it makes shopping here easy and enjoyable. I loved the place so much that I got myself a job here, if that says anything.

I was a little shocked to see that there were no Yelp reviews yet. If you're looking for a nursery with a huge variety of beautiful plants -- this is it. 1) They also have interesting, unusual, and rare varieties. 2) The plants are well cared for and beautiful. 3) The prices are all reasonable. 4) Veteran owned! Support a local business and a vet. I counted at least 8 greenhouses. Not all of them are open to the public. It depends on when you get there during the season and what's going on. They also have a gigantic quantity and variety of mulch. My only gripe is the payment procedure. The payment area is not clear. It's inside the 2nd, south side (or left side) greenhouse. When it's busy, it's confusing. There's no clear area for waiting & forming a line, and the workers seemed a little overwhelmed. A father and sons establishment, Our Farm has been 15 years in the making. The Ritcher family started planting trees in 1998 on their property with several varieties--Balsamic and Fraser firs or Scotch, White, and Norway pines. They offer cut-your-own or pre-cut! My family grew up with the lovely smell of pine in the house around Christmas time, and it has been a continued tradition to trek out into the woods and cut a tree ourselves. At Our Farm, you have the option to walk all around the 40 acres to hunt for your preferred tree, or one of the sons can offer to drive you into the back area (where all of the biggest and best trees can be found.) We were pleasantly surprised by the selection. We had trouble deciding because every tree seemed like the perfect one. I think the best part though was getting to enjoy the beautiful property. When we settled on the perfect tree, the Ritchers shook the excess needles off and bailed it for us. They even were kind enough to assist in tying it down to our truck's roof. The Ritchers were folksy and incredibly pleasant to chat with, telling the story of his grandad was a tree farmer elsewhere in Minnesota and they wanted to continue the family tradition. Pop Ritcher has big plans for the Farm, hoping to have hay rides, hot cocoa stations, and toboggans to haul your tree up from the back woods. Really glad too that they were open just three days before Christmas. Many tree farms are closed by now. Their prices are fair for their trees. We got a huge Norway pine for $60! Be sure to make it your tradition for Christmas, to visit the Ritchers for your Christmas tree.
