It is run by people who have full-time jobs and truly do this out of the kindness of their hearts and passion for helping animals. Other reviews mention that they don't respond quickly. From my experience, they are busy people and with just a little patience, they will give you all the support you need. They had Stacy for over five full years. She was dumped on their property with a damaged eye, scratches all over her body, and her uterus was falling apart from having so many litters of kittens. She needed multiple surgeries (including fully removing one eye) and many vet visits. If you could meet Stacy, you would see that regardless of everything she suffered through, she could not be a sweeter and happier cat. She is now 8 years old and runs around playing for hours a day like a kitten. I truly believe that with the state she was in at the time of rescue, any other shelter/rescue would have put her down. Fur-Ever Home gave her the help she needed to give her a fighting chance at survival. Now, she could not be a healthier or happier cat and that is all thanks to this rescue. Thank you, Fur-Ever Home, for giving me the chance to find my best friend and for giving animals that anyone else would turn away the support, care, and love that they deserve. Nothing, not even the courtesy to tell me I was denied and for what reason. We would have given her the best home! With so much love. I talked to a few tech friends one who worked there and was told horror stories about this establishment. They discriminate on applications before even speaking to potential adopters. They do not communicate (obviously) and are certainly not a no kill shelter. Sadly for the animals this place is detrimental to saving animals, quite the contrary.

Impossible to find, right? Well, thanks to Rescue Pets are Wonderful (RPAW), we were able to find him EXACTLY that. The RPAW volunteer we worked with was nothing short of amazing, patient, and super helpful. With her help, we were able to find a healthy, happy, neutered kitten (all cats are fixed prior to adoption) that fulfilled ALL of my boyfriend's insane wants. We honestly couldn't be happier. We are exceedingly grateful to RPAW for connecting us with our new wonderful family member. I highly, HIGHLY recommend this organization if you are looking for a new dog or cat companion (or if you want to volunteer!).

The bare root trees are, of course, young, but more established than the seedlings you could get from the state nursery. And you don't have to buy 100! This is a great option if you are on a really tight budget and/or looking to reforest an area. I always take a swing through the garden center as well. Several of those I was told I'd be called back, I never was. - I called again saying I'd like a refund a month ago, and only then I was told "no problem, we'll get it" - Nelson's called me with pickup times over the weeks of waiting... when talking with them, they'd then tell me they were mistaken and they didn't have it or know when it was coming in. - I got an email on Friday saying it was ready for pickup - and then I drove there with a trailer only for them to tell me it's not there. I waited for 20minutes while people ran around trying to find someone that knew about this situation. I was told I would be called on Monday. The manager couldn't be bothered to talk to me in person. Yesterday I received no call. - No offer for any sort of compensation to right this wrong. - I finally get a chance to talk to them on the phone and they take zero responsibility for these issues. I asked them for my money back. They had the rude audacity to tell me that because they have an extra tree they are the victim of this situation. I've tried to talk to a manager, nope. I've tried reaching out to senior management, nope. This place is incredibly mismanaged and unorganized. There are better nurseries out there, I'll be recommending those to others in the future.
