Gordon's Greenhouse is one of the best greenhouses in the northwest suburbs! This nursery is somewhat of an icon in the northwest burbs. And they've been around a long time. I was a little shocked to see that there were no Yelp reviews yet. If you're looking for a nursery with a huge variety of beautiful plants -- this is it. 1) They also have interesting, unusual, and rare varieties. 2) The plants are well cared for and beautiful. 3) The prices are all reasonable. 4) Veteran owned! Support a local business and a vet. I counted at least 8 greenhouses. Not all of them are open to the public. It depends on when you get there during the season and what's going on. They also have a gigantic quantity and variety of mulch. My only gripe is the payment procedure. The payment area is not clear. It's inside the 2nd, south side (or left side) greenhouse. When it's busy, it's confusing. There's no clear area for waiting & forming a line, and the workers seemed a little overwhelmed. I was there yesterday and there were 3 ladies hopping around, confused, ringing people up out of order. Stop by if you're in the area (in season). You won't regret it. -Daddy Maxx Retro read more
