I was almost tempted by a few little selections but I kill a lot and don't want to spend money on them... They had a little accessory area which I liked and the space is like a big ol greenhouse. There was coffee by the door which I think was free but it was so bougee in there I was nervous to take some just in case. Can't wait to tell my friends about this place!

My 45 person wedding on 7/11/2026 at mother co was entirely too hot, making the store unusable for cocktail hour, and the event space easily over 100 degrees (It was cooler outside in the sun at 95+ degrees). It was incredibly disappointing that mother Co did not plan ahead to keep the main event space reasonable, even after day-of, asking them what else they can do to fix it. Additionally, their courtyard space is only accessible by a staircase that has less than 1/2 foot of clearance around a giant door, making it dangerous to access the 3rd part of the venue. I was given discounted plants (see photo), a refund of fans purchased and doordashed (see photo) day of by my sister. We paid over $4000+ in venue cost alone... I say this very seriously - thank goodness that nobody had heat stroke that day. Thank goodness nobody fell. But also, come on, get it together.

Although it was quite a drive away, I was extremely pleased with my visit here. There was a huge assortment of orchids, ranging from very small to huge, from bright, beautiful colors to more mild, gentle tones. They have many, many different breeds of orchids and clearly know how to grow and take care of them very well. I was looking for an orchid that was relatively easy to grow that wouldn't require too much attention. The worker showed me several different types of orchids that fit my preferences and also gave me very great detail and information on how to take care of them well. He was very passionate about what he did and I was glad to be able to support a store like this. The only thing that was a bit frustrating was that many of the plants did not have price tags so I had to consistently go up and ask him. You must also watch out for plants that have a red stick on them because those are not for sale and are just being kept in the greenhouse to breed. However, my trip here overall was a great experience and the whole staff was very friendly. I will definitely look forward to coming back here again if I ever want to purchase more orchids. On a side note, they also have an alpaca farm right outside their greenhouse and it was really cute to see!

When I complained to the manager, he said he wasn't happy about the unmarked items. Isn't the job of the manager to make sure everything is ready for the annual Open House? There were metal sign holders in each section. They were blank. I didn't buy my usual amount, because I couldn't figure out how much I was spending.

Whoa. This place is succulent city…read more My friend is getting married in a couple of weeks and is making her own bouquets and arrangements for the tables (yes, she's crazy). She tracked down Greenworld because they sell their cuttings at much cheaper prices than you'd find at a florist. On Saturday morning, four of us hopped in a car stocked with Isles puppy dog tails and coffee and shlepped ourselves to North Branch to check it out and pick out which cuttings she wanted for the arrangements. You have to make an appointment during their off-season---they are not open to the public otherwise. I've NEVER seen so many succulents in one place. Mainly, the greenhouse is full of hundreds of kinds that I had never seen ever. Strange rose-mimicking plants, bright orange and purple colors, furry friends, snowball cacti... and a new kind of aloe plant that looks like a cylon basestar (nerd alert). For example, did you know that you are supposed to clip succulents fairly often and then replant the clippings. Otherwise some of them just get tall and sad. He was nice enough to make cuttings for a wedding inspiration board, so to speak. We messed around with combinations of different plants for a while and then let him know what the plan was. After that, I roamed the aisles again and picked our some new additions to my own succulent family (I've covered my whole bay windowsill with them). I picked our four good size plants that were only $5 each and not things you'd typically see in a store. Normally, they do accept credit cards, but it's cash or check during the off-season. The cylon plant has shown no signs of attacking the other plants, but there are many copies... and they have a plan.
