I was charged for 6 hours and told that software determines the labor charged, not actual labor time. IT'S A VERB. I feel ripped off and lied to. Just be aware that they don't charge on honest time, but rather computer software estimation. I haven't driven much to know if the work is reputable, but sure hope so.

Mr. Miller had an open bay and he took me right in and replaced the battery in under 20 minutes. He was efficient, polite and his office lady is friendly and most helpful. I did all the shopping for the part and finding a shop on the phone and set it all up. I will be taking my vehicle back to his shop the next time something is needed.

So as soon as we got off work we went to the place she bought her battery to get a diagnostic reading which stated "bad charging system". Luckily, we were next door to Tire Discounters so we rushed over to see if they could replace her alternator that night because she lives almost an hour from this area and didn't feel confident she'd make it home. We walk in with a new alternator and ask if they can replace it. One guy said they could replace it but it wouldnt be tonight since it was about 5:15 and they close at 6pm. We understood but felt so defeated. I asked if they thought she'd make it to Scottsboro with a bad alternator and one guy said not likely. the other guy, Jacob, said he would go check her output to see what the reading was to help gauge whether or not she should attempt the long commute. once Jacob got the reading he began looking for her alternator to see how hard it would be to get to. After he assessed everything he said he wanted to go ask the other guy a question real quick so we followed him inside. After Jacob spoke to the other guy, he came to the counter and said he was going to put the new one on and said it will be done around 6pm. Jacob went above and beyond to make sure my friend made it back home that night. He was kind, courteous, and fast. Jacob didn't have to do what he did, especially being as close to closing time as it was, but he took great care of us! GO SEE JACOB!

To make a long story short, we approved what was needed to fix the oil leak and the catalytic converter they said was needed. $4800 was quoted and paid when they completed the repair. About four months later we were back for the oil leak which had gotten much worse. They claimed they replaced something related to the oil filter connection. At this point we lost all confidence in their company and we went to the Honda dealership. After hearing Honda's $9,000 bid to fix, we decided to buy a new car and end this nightmare. Christian Brothers should have been honest with us and advised us to not fix this car and buy a new one. They care more for their profits than they do customers. I sat on a stool at the bar in front of the window and watched the technicians at work. CBA provides a complimentary inspection with pictures and video of the car, as well as a detailed report of the condition of the various parts of the car. Wow! The techs were thorough and their uniforms were still clean in the afternoon! Hmmm. Maybe they change if theirs are dirty? After payment for my new battery and its installation, Devin had a yummy surprise for us. Never have we had such a great experience at an automotive shop!
