That said, when they said my small pencil tattoo was going to be $100, I knew I was getting ripped off, because the larger tattoo on my right arm only cost me $60 elsewhere and is pristine. That said, I assumed I was paying for quality, so I paid for it. I was wrong, as you can see in the photo, there are several random dots that were not a part of the design I sent over. In addition, the tattoo artist began arguing with me about including mistakes from the scan image including a grey tint to the photo and the graph paper the design was drawn on, which I did not think I needed to clarify I didn't want. I really don't want to be negative and am trying my best to be happy with the end result, given it's there now and forever, but I'm not gonna lie I'm really upset about all the mistakes made, especially given the amount I paid. I can't help but wish I had gotten tattooed anywhere else, or even gotten one of my friends with Amazon-ordered tattoo guns to do it. Finally, the guy at the front desk was rude and acted like I was inconveniencing him every time I made him look up from his phone to take my money. If my tattoo turned out fine, I literally wouldn't have cared at all. But it was just another thing that frustrated me about this experience. After talking to some friends about this experience, I've learned that many other students have had similar negative experiences as well, and that apparently within the tattooed student body they're known to do stuff like this. I really wish I'd asked around more before scheduling an appointment here. Yes, I really downloaded this app and made an account just to write this review. It's the only thing I can do about any of this at this point besides sit in my room and stew. I feel bad saying all of this because the guy who tattooed me was very nice. At the same time, he's a professional charging aggressive prices, and I do not feel like I received what I paid for in the slightest. I hope in leaving this comment I can help others from making my mistake. I'm debating whether or not to get the mistakes covered, on one hand they're several random dots/smears that are invisible from a distance, but on the other hand it's my body and I don't like how messy the final result is. I don't like that every time I look at my wrist all I can think about is how I should've stood up for myself and argued more and tried to get a price reduction. When I heard that Anna was offering Microblading, I was so relieved. She is such a skilled artist with a curated critical eye. I trusted her 1000%. She did an incredible job at listening to what I wanted, balancing what she felt would be the right look for me, mapping out my brows, accentuating my natural shape and giving me the most natural looking glam brows possible. I really needed everything explained to me step by step before we began and Anna was so patient and happy to address each question in detail. She numbed my brows beforehand and outlined and drew strokes to figure out how I wanted them to look. The first appointment, she took extra care to make sure I was happy throughout as she continued and checked in often that the style and shape were on point. Having done them multiple times with Anna, now we have our brow language down to a science and it's a swifter maintenance appointment. Initially, Anna was concerned I would feel pain, never having tattoo experience before, but honestly, I hardly noticed. Once she numbed my brow area and began to work her magic, all I heard was a light scratching noise. My brow area was tender afterward but nothing unmanageable. She gave me a beautiful set of brows, matched my hair color perfectly, and most importantly gave me the arch that I have always wanted! It doesn't look unnatural to my face, it looks like I've always had it. I feel like a vintage movie star with these brows and I cannot stop looking at them! Several weeks following the initial Microblading appointment, there was a follow-up touch up session for anything out of place that needed to be adjusted. This brought me greater ease with the whole procedure as well because I knew if something wasn't working out after a few days time, we could fix it together. As the healing process took place before my touchup, I woke up everyday loving my brows more and more. It looked natural and the color faded nicely with my skintone. It all looked fuller and bolder and more defined. If you can avoid going immediately back to work following your first appointment, I would highly recommend it. Sometimes it takes a day or two for surgical pen marks to remove themselves. It's easier to be home milling around than avoiding eye contact or answering long stares at work. Rookie mistake. Everyone's skin is so different, best to book yourself out of work for the day and avoid any unnecessary stress. The studio itself was also gorgeous, in a lovely complex full of plants and light. The studio felt very clean and glamorous, and definitely put me at ease since I've never had a procedure like this done before. Don't walk, RUN to Anna! I can't tell you how many times I've been stopped and asked about my brows. Such a game changer and Anna is a dream come true!

There is a TON of space to decorate and warm up, so there is still a little inconsistency for the tone of the environment, but you will certainly notice some of the classic design comforts and staples that were carried over from the previous location. My massage therapist did some great work on some problem areas and always felt professional, yet personable, throughout. And who doesn't love the warm towel and neck pillow in the pre-services quiet room, right? So good.
