This is a tidy and well run dermatology and cosmetic clinic! The staff is professional, transparent and kind. I came in for Botox and received a full consultation that addressed all my questions. What I really appreciate is they are not pushy when it comes to the number of units they present. I've been to another clinic and felt bullied into getting the number of units "they" thought I needed. Not here! I felt informed to make the decision that was best for me. Just celebrated another year of getting older and went back to help keep my "youthful" glow... Wanted to update my review from a couple of years ago. I've tried a couple of different treatments and the nurses and practitioners are so friendly when discussing options and pricing for you. I never feel pressured into anything and feel valued and educated about the procedures. I do think there's been a positive shift in the receptionists over my few years of coming. They don't give me the warm fuzzies like the practitioners, but they are pleasant enough and at least exchange greetings/goodbyes with me. read more

In my most honest feelings, I believe Kimberly aligns more with a business owner than a doctor. It seems she is more interested in making money than providing the best quality of care to her patients. I feel she may view her patients more as clients or consumers to make money offf of. My experience with her was when she was providing vein procedures- I don't believe she provides this service anymore, but I trust she has kept the same mentality of how she approaches her practice. I went in for a free vein screen with Dr. Schulz and was diagnosed with moderate CVI (chronic venous insufficiency). I was immediately rushed into my surgical options to remove my moderate vein insufficiency which were in both of my great saphonous vein, the largest veins in your legs. Preventive options were not suggested as being a cure but from research I have done since online, this disease can be greatly alliveated through less aggressive procedures like excercise. I felt very rushed into making a decision with this treatment not consulting any other medical professional which was a huge mistake on my part. Fast-forward 7 years and varicose veins on my calves and upper thighs are beginning to protrude from the surface. I have a lot of spider veins too. This could be heretics, but my age and nearness to the procedure makes me think it is primary causation. Needless to say as a young twenty-year-old, this caused me a lot of psychological stress. I take full responsibility of my healthcare decisions, however I do not think Dr. Schulz provided options that aligned with my best interest for the care of my diagnosis. Be wary. read more

I had a consultation in November and the suggestion was to have a CO2 laser on my face they thought it would be a real benefit to my wrinkly skin. (my concern were wrinkles and Droopy skin ) I thought about it and read about it and scheduled a CO2 laser for January. The appointment went well it lasted about an hour and 20 minutes to an hour and 30 minutes and I went home followed all the directions and after a week it felt quite a bit and after a month it was totally healed, I understood that it can take three months to really see some change so I pati waited thinking eventually .., my skin did look fresher for awhile but no change in wrinkles and my understanding was always that all wrinkles wouldn't be gone but they would be soft and at least some of them . I kept hoping but now at 4 1/2 months I see no change in tightness or wrinkles. The other day I had an appointment to discuss this and it was pointed out to me that there was a visible difference and my expectations were too high ! (for $2500.)) They took before and after pictures however they were not taken in the same room with the same lighting (the after picture is very much brighter lights and room) I am not a person that regularly complains but considering the price and so little difference I thought perhaps they would have another suggestion to try that they would give me some discount on their answer was absolutely not. I really wanted to like this place, as I will be spending more money on skin care as I am 35 now. I went in for laser treatment on my broken blood vessels around my nostrils and at first, they were friendly and accommodating. I spent money on three treatments and my blood vessels did not improve. They never went away at all. There might have been a very slight improvement in them in the first couple days, but they were fully back almost immediately. After three treatments and spending close to $300, and them doing another touch up treatment for free, they suggested electro cotarizing. I did that thinking it was the solution. They didn't charge me. I started to notice a change in their attitude. The doctor suggested I needed to do another laser treatment after the cotary didn't work either. I came in for one more no charge laser treatment. Also no change in blood vessels. I called and left a message with my results and very nicely asked what they think I should do. The customer service here is where I have an issue. None of this is my fault, and after spending close to $300, I simply want something to show for it. Based on the return call, I felt that they saw me as a nuisance and didn't want me to come in/didn't want to offer me a solution to the problem. So here I am. Not going back. Out $300. Still looking for someone to get rid of my redness around my nose. :( read more

I come here for the laser hair removal treatments. Michele the nurse is wonderful at what she does. Explains everything in detail and helps you feel at ease. I was very nervous starting treatments after hearing about the pain associated and seeing pictures of treatments gone wrong. They use a special tool that measures your skin color to adjust the strength of the laser, this prevents burns. The pain is totally doable. Less pain than waxing. There is just a fast twinge, but then the pain is gone. No residual pain or uncomfortable feeling afterwards, like with waxing. Worth the money, in my opinion. They also have deals where you purchase one laser treatment and get another 50% off. They have it a couple times a year, and you can buy as many as you want. read more

I am also new to taking care of my skin and they were very helpful in getting me started. Everyone was very friendly, inviting, and down to earth. Had my legs treated for varicose veins and the results were not great. The doctor and girls seemed professional though. The billing department is something else. They can't figure out how to file an insurance claim correctly and am still waiting for the $400.00 I overpaid them on my deductible. read more

I'm an African American that recently moved to the area from the south. There I often received spa services and was never made to feel different by White aestheticians. However at Infinity in Coralville, I have been discriminated against each time even though I am spending my money. It varied from the worker acting as if she was afraid to touch me to not being greeted upon entry into the establishment. Finally, once I dropped in to see if I could get my brows done before traveling to a conference. I was told that they didn't take walkins. To test them, I asked my friend who is White within 30 mins to try and they waxed her brows and stated they would "squeeze" her in. Mind you, she has never endorsed their business as I have. So I have given up and do not recommend that anyone of color patrons this business. At this point I feel if they changed, it would not be genuine. Anyone know of any other establishments more accepting of people of color? I will also add that I asked to make an appointment with the dermatologist and the response was "she may not accept your insurance and I suggest you try the dermatologist across the street" read more
