I've only been here a handful of times over the past couple of years, but a couple months ago I…read moredecided to try gel nails. I've been going every couple weeks now. I usually receive good service, but I did have one week where an older woman did my nails, and I wasn't thrilled. I thought she filed my nails unevenly. The last time I was there, one guy started to remove my gel polish...then asked me to move over a chair, and he started with a new client. I waited over 15 minutes before another guy came to finish my manicure. I didn't say anything because I was wanting to see why they made me wait, how they handled my lengthy wait, etc. I m guessing an appointment came in, and they bumped me for her. Fortunately I was able to wait it out. But I - and most others - don't appreciate being pushed aside; it's poor service to start with a client if you know you have another coming in shortly. I guess I'll see if I have any more service issues and need to look elsewhere. As for the manicure itself, everyone has done a beautiful job (excluding what I noted above). I usually ask for a leopard print mail on each hand, and it always looks great!

Another time she colored my hair and shaped my eyebrows. Most recently Courtney gave me a new short style when I was ready for a change. The new cut is perfect for me. I am very pleased with it. Courtney listens to what you want and will do as you ask. If you ask her advice, she will give it to you and it is worth listening to as she is very knowledgeable. She has some products for sale but does not push them. Her shop is very pleasant and she is fun to chat with. I think you will like The Beauty Cat.

The only complaint I have is that my son had to wait almost twenty minutes for his hair cut appointment. While I understand you have to take care of the people at the front desk, but not several people and definitely not for that long!!! Apologies were made, though. I think if some of the beauty techs learned threading/hair removal technique, they would have more business.
