Had a roof replaced by Shell after a hail storm in 2025. The work was completed except for the…read morereplacement of a chimney cap that was damaged in the hail. The project manager made several attempts to replace it himself and ended up replacing by putting on a 4" cap for a 6" vent pipe. After that, the PM and Shell in general will not answer my phone calls. I'm hope the roof was installed correctly since it is proven I will not be able to get Shell to fix any problems with their work.

The company made several basic and serious errors, including failing to properly vent our attic, which has since contributed to water damage inside our home. In addition, we were sold a warranty that ultimately did not meet the criteria for the work that was actually performed. We were also told that an Owens Corning representative would be present throughout the installation process, yet no representative showed up on any of the days the work was completed. When we escalated our concerns and shared the damage their work has caused to our home, no one from management reached out to us or came to our home to assess the situation. The lack of follow-up or accountability after payment was made has been extremely frustrating and, in our experience, shows a clear disregard for resolving issues once the job is complete. I'm sharing this because if you are considering using Shell Restoration for a new roof or gutters, I strongly encourage you to research other options before hiring this company.
