Had a roof replaced by Shell after a hail storm in 2025. The work was completed except for the replacement of a chimney cap that was damaged in the hail. The project manager made several attempts to replace it himself and ended up replacing by putting on a 4" cap for a 6" vent pipe. After that, the PM and Shell in general will not answer my phone calls. I'm hope the roof was installed correctly since it is proven I will not be able to get Shell to fix any problems with their work. read more

Negative Stars! We hired Shell Restoration to replace our roof and gutters less than a year ago, and our experience has been extremely disappointing. The company made several basic and serious errors, including failing to properly vent our attic, which has since contributed to water damage inside our home. In addition, we were sold a warranty that ultimately did not meet the criteria for the work that was actually performed. We were also told that an Owens Corning representative would be present throughout the installation process, yet no representative showed up on any of the days the work was completed. When we escalated our concerns and shared the damage their work has caused to our home, no one from management reached out to us or came to our home to assess the situation. The lack of follow-up or accountability after payment was made has been extremely frustrating and, in our experience, shows a clear disregard for resolving issues once the job is complete. I'm sharing this because if you are considering using Shell Restoration for a new roof or gutters, I strongly encourage you to research other options before hiring this company. read more

Used Shell Restoration to fix leak around chimney, they sent a third party and he only removed the old flashing and caulked around the brick and reattached the old flashing. The contract was for new reflashing and shingles, none of which was done. The contract was for $643 and paid $300 up front for a job that wasn't worth a $100. Had shell restoration do metal wrap around 5 windows and replace a small window. A number of spots on the metal wrap are mediocre. I had to cut out my one screen because they caulked it in.... literally. Two of my windows are identical, side by side, yet the metal looks different... explain that one. And the biggest kicker is the trim on the inside of the window they replaced. Done VERY poorly. The project manager came back a second time to redo it with not much better results. And the biggest thing was after the second time, the project manager mailed me a signed and dated letter with very inappropriate, degrading, foul language and even a racial slur thrown in because i didn't like the worked performed. One of the owners ended up coming out 2 WEEKS AGO to get a copy of the letter, take pictures of the work and that was the last i seen or heard from anyone. Service finance, the company that did the financial part hasn't even been successful at contacting them or any response as service finance has contacted me 3 times about it. read more
