We stumbled upon this location when walking around the SoHo area, we had planned to go to another restaurant but decided on a whim that it looked delicious and the reasonable size crowd inside convinced us it was worth giving a shot.
We really liked everything we had, it was a very nice lunch with good service and great food. The chicken+kimchi dumplings were delicious, fried well with good flavor. The Korean Fried Chicken was fried perfectly with a sauce that was sweeter than it was spicy, but still very good. Lastly the Jeyyuk Boekem (stir fried pork) was delicious - this is one of my favorite Korean dishes and I've probably had it at a dozen or more places, this was one of the better versions I've ever had. It also came out on cast iron, which is fairly common, but a nice touch to keep it warm as you eat it.
In addition, they had a pretty extensive and authentic Korean menu, if we had more people we certainly had more things we were in the mood to try.
Highly recommend giving it a shot if you're in the area! read more
