A fun place to go for an evening meal and there is never a rush to get you out of the place. Waiting for the bill can take a while. I asked a few times and always got a shake of the head LOL. We loved the place and went back a couple of times. The Turks are a funny race with, what can only be described as, photographic memories. They always seem to remember you!!!!

The Turks have a wonderful ability of remembering faces, people, orders etc etc. Meals, in this restaurant are taken under the shade of various plants which make a wonderful foliage ceiling. Food is traditional Turkish cuisine. That makes a nice change from Turkish cuisine moulded to our tastes. Service is very friendly but professional. Wines are reasonably priced and we really loved Turkish wine. Can't get it at home. For the children, animals run around the floor. Chickens, rabbits, tortoise........a fun place. So, people, if you want a break, hunt out The Secret Garden and give them our regards. You will not be disappointed.

A cappuccino for my partner and a Turkish coffee, medium sweet, for me. We had that every morning and by the fourth day didn't need to order as the waiters already knew. The evenings were a totally different proposition. Years back we always had cocktails upstairs before dinner. So we thought we would give it a try. The main floor is set out for meals in the evening but, thoughtfully, the bar area has seating and standing areas for just drinks. Unfortunately the drinks aren't very good now. My vodka martini full of crushed ice watering it down. We went once but won't go again. Thank goodness for The Jade Bar. It has taken over.
