He got lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, turnips and onions. For his sauces he got hummus, spicy garlic and chipotle. He enjoyed the shawarma. I had a bite so I could review it (I also went with him so I could see the restaurant and take pictures) haha. I thought it was pretty good. They give you a decent amount of protein. It had warm spices to it like sumac and allspice. Like I mentioned, for my vegetable I chose the spinach, but somehow I ended up with ground beef. Service was courteous and efficient. The restaurant is small and cozy and nicely decorated. It is in a basement unit so down a steep flight of stairs. We were so full after our meals but they had some very interesting looking desserts. They had desserts that looks like a bird's nest and also some delicious looking Turkish delight.
