I cannot say enough good things about Babies in Bloom and Rochelle. We decided to use Babies in Bloom for our birth center birth. With that, we got access to their plethora of other services: prenatal yoga, birthing classes, newborn classes, and breastfeeding classes. I am SOOOOO lucky that I was able to get these so I could feel fully prepared. My birthing classes were amazing and I was introduced to the most amazing instructor, Melissa, who does Coastal Hypnobabies. Invaluable class. The newborn classes, with Rochelle, gave me a sense of ease that I needed when dealing with a newborn. My newborn had quite a few of the things I learned about that can be worrisome for new parents but are, in fact, quite normal. We got reassurance and help with baby wrapping, and cosleeping, and cloth diapering. The breastfeeding class WAS MIND BLOWING. We assume breastfeeding is easy and instinctual and then we beat ourselves up for it when we find out it's so hard. I learned so much, even though I had already researched a ton. Even in the hospital, i developed something weird on my nipple and the hospital lactation consultants didn't know what it was. I emailed Rochelle and she not only knew what it was, but explicitly described what to do to correct it. Worked like a charm. I give her a ton of credit for getting me through that learning curve of breastfeeding, when you wonder if you're able to keep it up. Now, BF is easy as pie. The facilities are so clean and beautiful. I did use them for part of my labor, but ended up needing care at a hospital by the end of it. However, for 9 hours of my labor I have great memories of Babies in Bloom while I was there. I was so sad I didn't get to fully birth there. Turns out my baby had other plans, no matter how much I disagreed. Overall, the whole support team provides you with all the tools you need to have a wonderful pregnancy and labor and even support afterwards. They all truly care. I don't have one bad thing to say about this place and it truly was a beautiful way to enter motherhood. read more

Such a cute boutique with great items for babies and mama! Great classes and resources available as well. Rochelle is an amazing lactation consultant. She is so calming and positive and has turned my nursing experience around for both of my kids. My first born had trouble latching and other consultants had told me I should possibly think about giving up but Rochelle was so encouraging and helpful and we were finally able to latch and I nursed for 15 months. My youngest had a tongue tie release and once again she helped take a stressful journey and turn it into a positive one! I'm so thankful to have found Rochelle and Babies in Bloom. read more

What a cute little place! I recently had my first baby and was looking for a lactation consultant. We've met with Rochelle a few times now and she's been a HUGE help. After a lackluster experience with the lactation specialists at the hospital that I gave birth at, Rochelle was a breath of fresh air. She explains things really well and it truly is a "no judgment zone." Each time we were given a thorough written plan to follow, customized to what I told her I could reasonably do. Highly recommend. Early in my breastfeeding journey, I joined Rochelle's free virtual lactation lounge. She gave me personalized, useful tips, from the comfort of my own home, which I so appreciated during those early newborn days when it's not easy to leave the house. After a couple months of breastfeeding, I needed more support, so I reached out and was able to get an in-person appointment within 2 days. Rochelle listened to all my concerns, weighed my baby before and after a feed, and helped identify the potential root cause: a tongue and lip tie. She is the ONLY professional who identified this issue, after we had seen 2 pediatricians, 1 occupational therapist, and mentioned our symptoms to 2 doulas and 2 other lactation consultants. She provided relevant, trusted local referrals so we could get a full evaluation. Afterward, the care plan she provided was very detailed, easy to follow and useful. I especially appreciated the evidence based research she shared, specific to our situation. I am so thankful for Rochelle! I have also attended a babywearing workshop at BiB. The teacher (Sarah, I think) was super sweet and helpful with hands on guidance. read more

This is the sweetest baby/toddler shop. It's my go-to for baby shower gifts and birthday gifts for littles. I've also gotten lots of things for my son. They have very well curated toys, clothing, and baby products that you just don't see in other stores. They also carry some local brands. It's also a small business and I love to support them. They have a lot of natural and organic products, lots of educational and wooden toys, cute books, moccasins, bows, etc. Clothes and shoes seem to be mostly under 24 months. However, they carry fun toys and books that are for toddlers and preschoolers. They also have lots of baby carriers, strollers, car seats, breastfeeding supplies, etc. They're knowledgable on baby wearing, car seat safety, and all things birth and breastfeeding. I used to attend the lactation lounge and it was a wonderful group of ladies, very supportive and fun, and Rochelle is fantastic. They'll occasionally have a fun photo op to bring your kids in for, which is super fun. They also have Doodle Bug Ceramics in frequently to make fun hand and footprint keepsakes. There are a lot of services including lactation consultant appointments, parenting classes, etc. Whatever you need, Babies in Bloom can probably help! I love this place! I was looking for a specific Tula carrier and BiB had it in stock! I literally drove for almost an hour to come here! The customer service both on the phone and in person was excellent. The staff was able to help me adjust my carrier to fit my LO. I'm familiar with various carriers but it helps having experienced eyes on it as well to help with getting just the right fit. They're so pleasant to talk to and knowledgeable about every item in store. This store has a lot of hard-to-find or unique baby items. I've done a lot of research on baby products and this store still had items and brands I've never seen before, including really cool looking teethers. For a boutique, they had a huge variety of products in stock, including Lucy Darling, Ju Ju Be (including Toki prints), Sakura Bloom (they have one of the biggest in-store SB selection I've seen), Tula (both canvas and the new Free to Grow), Freshly Picked, Lillebaby, Nuna, Clek, and more. A lot of their merchandise come from brands that rarely or never run sales and their pricing was competitive with other retailers. So I disagree with reviewers that said they were expensive; unless you're shopping on Amazon (toys and books mostly) or during a special temporary markdown sale by another retailer, it's the same price and you're supporting a small, woman-run business. read more

I work as a prenatal chiropractor and a lot of moms come to me looking for recommendations for holistic pregnancy options so naturally Babies in Bloom gets brought up a lot. BiB is so much more than just a birth center though. I am always impressed with the abundance of resources they have for all our north county mamas! Sometimes you find stores where you feel like you NEED to buy everything...Babies in Bloom is one of these places, especially for environmentally conscious consumers! Not only is there a shop but also a NEW birthing center AND weekly/monthly classes!! Today I stopped into the new location to pick up some cloth diapers to add to our stash, as well as seek advice on a new brand of cloth. The new store is even more spectacular in person than the pictures show. I did not get to tour the new birthing center or classrooms as I was on limited time, but I will try next time! Unfortunately I did not catch the name of the mama-to-be working the front desk/register. I walked into the store and she immediately greeted me and offered her assistance. I didn't even have to ask first! She was very knowledgable on the products and had a few recommendations. She even went and looked up more specific information that was not labeled on the cloth diapers I was purchasing, again without me even having to ask. I don't get anything near this type of customer service from the big box baby retail stores. Not to mention those stores don't even carry half of the products you can find at Babies in Bloom. The selection of natural, Eco conscious products is more than satisfying. I did not have a lot of time to browse everything, but a few items that stood out... Wide variety of cloth diaper brands/styles and accessories, honest company products, medela supplies, skip hop, a few racks of cloths, baby/toddler books, amber teething necklaces, chew-beads, nursing pillows.. There's so much in one store! I think I even spotted some lactation teas/cookies! Not only is the selection awesome, so are the prices. I have shopped at Babies in Bloom in the past (old location) and always recommend them to other families. I like this store and have shopped here quite a bit since they opened the new location. They have a lot of products that I regularly have to buy off of amazon because they aren't carried anywhere else locally. They also have a good selection of cute clothes, and I appreciate that they have a rewards program (spend $200, get $20 off your next purchase). Your purchases are apparently stored in their system for easy returns, although I've never had to return anything. There are a few comfy chairs and a little play area for kiddos. We went in originally to take a look around and consider the birthing center. My midwife practices out of there, and we thought it might be nice to check out. Apparently you have to make an appointment, which is fine, but they were a little snippy about me even asking. We let it go and wound up never touring. The staff is nice; it's a small shop and there aren't many employees, but the ones even at buybuybaby are more helpful (I hate saying, but it's true). Another gripe i have is that there have been a few items that I've noticed are priced above retail... It seems kind of harsh, especially considering retail and their price are listed on all of the tags. I'll keep shopping here, and I genuinely hope they stay open and flourishing! read more

Babies in bloom may be small but I łove how well rounded the store is for retail items, as for what's essential for the babies and mommies plus some really cute items. On top of a retail store it's also a birthing center and offers a variety of classes for mommies to be. The staff is super friendly, any questions you may have, they'll for sure have an answer for you. Lily was helpful in giving advice about the LaVie, item on my to buy list. Soooo grateful to have found Rochelle! I've struggled so much with breastfeeding and had to give up after 8 months with my first son. I wish I had found this place when I had him! I was told to go here when I had my second and I am so glad I did. Rochelle is SO knowledgeable and completely has made breastfeeding go from the worst thing ever for me, to an enjoyable experience. Every time I went in she could tell me exactly what was going on and why I was in pain! We figured out there were like 3 big things going on and once they were addressed, the pain was gone. I had issues that were undiagnosed previously by the TWELVE consultants I saw with my first son. Same exact issues were going on right when I had my second son but after 3 appointments with Rochelle, you'd never know I struggled. I tell everyone I know about how amazing she is. She really knows her stuff and makes you feel comfortable and confident about nursing! The boutique is super cute as well and has all the natural products you could ever want. They have a great selection. I seriously can't stress enough that if you have any issue with breastfeeding at all, don't waste time seeing someone else and just come here! SHE IS AFFORDABLE TOO! I initially came for the Baby and Me Barre Class, which is at the perfect time for my Little One's "happy hours". The class is challenging. My daughter is 9months, and she really enjoys seeing the other babies. The storefront is very clean and has a beautiful selection of baby gear. This place is amazing! I first found them 2 years ago when my son was born and I went to the lactation lounge free group session. I was able to weigh my baby to make sure she was growing appropriately, ask questions and get advice about breastfeeding, and meet other mothers who were experiencing the same things as me. We were also thinking about cloth diapering and with their advice, we made the leap and have loved it. With number two, I don't have as much time but am able to stop in to weight my infant while my son plays at the table which oh by the way has chairs set up for nursing! They have such cute little toys and cloths, an amazing line of baby carriers which they will help you with (find the right carrier, the fit, the adjustments), nursing supplies, cloth diapers, and much more. I wanted to give a huge thank you to Rachelle for helping me with our newborn baby. At 2 weeks, I was super frustrated with breastfeeding. I have to use a nipple shield, because my baby likes to bite (a lot!) and won't latch just naturally, like I thought he would. For some reason, I figured, like most first time moms this would be instinctual, however, it isn't for a lot of moms! I thought I was on my own, until I started talking to all these moms, and they are having the same problem. At 3 weeks I was going to give up Breastfeeding all together. However, Rachelle, worked with me and my husband, and we came to find out that there was a possible tongue tie, (which ended up not being one), and it was basically just a learning curve, and my positioning was not at all helping him. I was trying to move myself to him, and my back and neck were killing me. Now that I've got the hold down, he is doing SOOOO much better. Though we aren't at 100% yet at 3 1/2 weeks, we are getting there thanks to Rachelle and her patience and reassurance with/to us! Thanks so much, I would totally recommend paying for a private session...so worth the money, considering I would have spent it on bottles and formula and stuff...and now I'm actually feeling the "bond" rather then, the frustrating "fight!" read more

I had a hunch when I moved to san diego and being told by my sister's sweet neighbors that Babies in Bloom was a birthing and wellness center, ...that I should go right away and start yoga classes. I was past my first trimester and very stressed out and this would have been a life changer back then. But it's never too late, I am due for an induction this Friday and was encouraged to go see Dr. Kim McHugh, ...the chiropractor that specializes in prenatal care and babies.. I had just come from a stressful experience at UCSD trying to see a prenatal counselor before the birth (no luck) ...and walking into Babies in Bloom was my saving grace. They even had heartburn tea which I have been suffering for for weeks and safe for my anxiety. I have gone to chiropractors since I was 26 (car accident) ...and Kim gave me the best most gentle yet effective and top to bottom adjustment I have ever had in my entire life. I really finally just felt present for once since the beginning of the pregnancy. I didn't have my usual neck pain, headache, tmj, back pain and pelvic pain. I could walk better. She took her time ..talking to me about my health concerns and they were concerns I had a lot of time bearing the weight of and my obgyn didnt have any solutions. But I went to Babies in bloom and realized I didn't have to suffer during pregnancy. I could've had an active less stressful pregnancy with way less pain. My body was healthy before. When I would get prenatal care through the medical system, everything painful i was going through was just the pregnancy causing it.. no it wasn't the pregnancy. It was the lack of knowledge the staff had about treating pain and stress. The store is marvelous. I love every carefully picked item ...because I can actually pick it up and see it and feel it unlike just trying to guess online. My mom finally found the rattle she was looking for!! I felt like I was in a real baby space.. something my mom experienced when she had me in a simpler Mom era in '79.. even looking at cloth diapers got me excited! I wish I had been able to use the birthing center but now I know what I will do differently next time. I'm glad to have found such a supportive caring environment for moms. read more

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Babies in Bloom. It is our new favorite baby boutique! They have such cute accessories and an amazing line of strollers and car seats. They had the exact stroller we wanted and due to conflict in our schedule, we were unable to pick-up right away. However, they held for us! They were so kind and helpful in showing us various car seats and answering our many questions. They also have an online baby registry which is amazing! I shopped at Babies in Bloom for our car seat and stroller before my baby was born and the owner as well as sales associates were all so helpful with how the seats and strollers work, the options, and differences (which my husband and I were having a hard time navigating before going in). Once my baby came I was having difficulties with breastfeeding and not only was I able to quickly rent a hospital grade pump from the store, but I got in to see Rochelle for a lactation consultation. She was incredible helpful and provided so much knowledge in a way that I could understand and digest. Being a brand new mom she made it feel manageable and not overwhelming and helped me to bring my milk supply in, maintain it, and worked with me to align with my nursing goals. She provided so much information, care plans, and resources that it truly saved me navigating the challenges of nursing. Cute boutique baby store and nursing consultation services. I am reviewing for the store only. I visited recently as I have been canvassing baby stores for fun items for my newborn. I remembered years ago when this store was located in the mall where the bridal stores and Sun Hing buffet is. Now they are in one of the storefront offices behind that strip mall and have expanded to a much larger space. There is plenty of parking (1st star) which is convenient when taking out my baby from the car. If I needed to use the stroller there was ample space to do so and safely since it is a low traffic area. Upon walking in you notice the nice bright and clean decor and wooden (?) floors. It is very nicely done and very welcoming for bringing your baby, especially if I wanted to come to one of the classes which was advertised on an easel by the front door. 2nd star for decor and overall feel. I was greeted right away by one of the young ladies in the store and asked if I needed any help or had any questions. She wasn't pushy or aggressive like sometimes store attendants can be which was welcoming as I told her I was new to the store and just wanted to look around. 3rd star for attentiveness and comfort. I loved the selection of cloth diapers, baby carriers (LILLEBaby), ring slings (many colors available), natural and boutique branded baby toys (wooden, cloth), pacifiers, nipple creams, medela breast pump supplies, colorful learning toys for all ages, boutique brand baby clothes and rompers (tesa babe), baby bouncers (nuna leaf), diaper bags, colorful fun baby bibs, burp cloths, knit hats and clothing. There was a small selection of clearance items in the back like cloth diapers, lotions and nursing bras but they were all too big or too small in size for me. I ultimately ended up getting an adorable knit hat with tiny bunny ears and flowers on top, good for 3-12 months (about $28) and two colorful bibs (one with bicycle print and the other with colorful fish scale print) with fleece backing ($5 each). I loved that they carried fun boutique brands because that's exactly what I was looking for. That "something special" that other baby stores don't have. 4th star. Other little things that were nice were free tea samples from earth mama and a little play area in the corner for toddlers (5th Star). Overall it was a very nice first visit to the store at this location. I didn't have much time, but I would next like to check out what classes they have to see if I am interested in anything. It might have been nice if the girls in the front mentioned more about what classes are available given it was my first time to the store, but I guess I can just check out their website online. They did ask to add me to their mailing list when I checked out which I did do so I'm sure I'll find more info there. I will definitely be back and consider stores like this a real gem to have in north county! read more

I highly recommend seeing Rochelle for any mamas having trouble with breastfeeding. I was already thinking about giving up and switching to formula in the first few weeks after my daughter was born because I had so much nipple pain. Rochelle helped us with a few small positional changes and now I don't have pain and all my anxiety around feedings is gone. She also helped me realize that I didn't need to be pumping as much as I was (my milk supply was delayed after I had a severe hemorrhage so I was aggressively pumping in the hospital and didn't realize that I could stop once it came in. I was engorged and making too much milk and it regulated when I stopped pumping so I'm glad she brought it up!). Go see her if you need any help, our visit was so worth it! read more

Babies in Bloom is an excellent baby boutique for families who are wanting to shop for natural products, breastfeeding, babywearing and cloth diapering supplies. I haven't really found another store in North County that carries everything I want in one store. It's comparable to Wonderful and Wild in Hillcrest. For cloth diapering, they carry everything you need to start and keep going, including cute prints of BumGenius and Grovia, my fav. For breastfeeding, they have a ton of lactation supplies, cookies, pads, covers and more. Baby carriers including Sakura Bloom ring slings and Tula, just to name a few! They offer classes on cloth diapering, babywearing, an a lactation support group as well (and more!). I took classes at a different store, so I can't comment on them at BIB, but I'm sure they are great! I did take one GroovaRoo (babywearing and line dancing/workout) class here and it was a lot of fun! It's very clean, the staff is super friendly and the store layout is great. It is on the higher end of baby boutiques, but it's a fun shop to splurge in! read more

Be careful when purchasing any supplement. Babies in Bloom does not back up any products, regardless of circumstance. My daughter had an immediate and awful allergic reaction to the Mommy's probiotic drops - they have corn oil. B.I.B. refused to help- told me to give them to a friend.. why would I punish a friend with an allergic product?! I'll never shop there again, period. read more

I'm writing this review in complete shock. I never wanted to have to write a review like this nor did I ever, in a thousand years, think I would have to. My husband's and my experience with the Babies in Bloom birth center was not only disappointing, but unprofessional. Let me begin. I was about 30 weeks along when I called the birth center to setup an initial interview and tour. When we arrived, we met with Rochelle (Birth Center Owner) and Michele with Lavender Moon Midwifery. We were met with smiles and assurances as we explained that our insurance plan covered all birthing expenses. Then things started going downhill rather quickly. I had to coordinate all my records and release them to Michele for review. I ended up having to assist in this process and had to get records released from three different doctors. This was quite the hassle from the get go. I ended up being verified for eligibility to enter care with Michele. I was finally able to get excited. THEN, a couple bombs were dropped on us: -Michele blindsided us with a $500 non-refundable, non-reimbursable deposit for her so called "premium services." I asked her what these services were and she resisted explaining what they were for. I asked for a detailed breakdown of these services but she refused. Michele conveniently withheld this info during our initial interview. If she had informed us about this, we would have not entered into her care and gone through the painful process of releasing records. -The second surprise was that Michele NOW informs us that we are required to take birthing classes, breastfeeding classes, and after birth classes to be eligible. This is another piece of information that would have been useful during the initial interview! At this point in the game, taking these classes would be too much on my plate and I simply did not feel the need to take them especially with a Doula at my side. Rochelle also did not mention this requirement during the initial tour. I feel like this was a convenient way for the birth center to rope us in last minute and not be up front about the requirements. Very, very unprofessional. -Michele became extremely abrasive over the phone after we started asking questions about insurance. She expressed her dislike for insurance companies, but honestly I don't care! Don't offer insurance if you aren't keen on it. I have insurance for a reason and that is to cover these types of expenses. Michele talked over my husband and me disrespectfully and made it hard to explain our side of things. Why she couldn't simply answer my questions is beyond me. I honestly believe that Michele used the insurance excuse to charge clients more out of pocket for her services. She even informed me that she charges $3,000 out of pocket up front during the beginning of pregnancy! How many families can afford to do that these days?! -Another example of Michele's unprofessional behavior was her insistence that families that choose her services see the extra charges as an investment, not as a burden. Well, that's just dandy if you're loaded! It felt like a smack across the face and made us feel like a birth in a hospital was going to be less special. It reeked of snobbery and quite honestly, really turned us off to the midwifery industry. -After all records were transferred to Michele, Rochelle called me and informed me that the birth center was not contracted with ANY insurance company. Well, GREAT, thanks for letting us know that now! She could have informed us about this beforehand but never did. Another fabulous example of Rochelle withholding information from us. If we had known this initially, we could have avoided this whole ordeal and stayed with my main OBGYN. I ended up emailing Rochelle, and all I got back was excuses and zero apologies. This comment was a huge slap in the face: "We know that the financial aspect is an important part of your decision in choosing where and with whom to give birth. It is hard to pay for these services yourself when insurance may cover 100% for a different provider or a hospital birth. We believe having a baby is a special event that is an investment in your lives. It is all about what you value and a choice you make." Wow, so I value my child's birth less now, how nice of her to say that! In her email back, she also lied about me saying I planned on attending childbirth classes. I NEVER said that and in fact had zero interest in taking birth classes this late in the game. Also, our Doula assured us that we did not need to take birthing classes due to outside education videos we've watched. At the end of the day, we would never come back to this facility. You are better off giving birth with a quality doctor who takes insurance---AKA, Dr. Cobb. The unprofessional behavior of both Rochelle and Michele ruined the potential midwife experience and I'm not sure we will ever consider it again. read more

Never have I meet such rude people. Every single person that works in this store is stuck up and acts as if you are causing them an inconvenience by being there. I specifically have had horrible experience with Rochelle the owner herself and have had multiple bad experiences with Alli. Alli is beyond rude. I delivered my baby at Babies and Bloom and would do it all over again! I saw my midwife here for every appointment, delivered my baby and got essentials from the shop including my breast pump. Rochelle, the owner, has been very helpful and is a breast feeding expert! I took 2 classes from her prior to my birth on breastfeeding and newborn care and we attended our Bradley Method class through here as well taught by Liza. If you are looking to give birth outside of the hospital but aren't sure about home I recommend visiting the birth center it was the right decision for my family. read more

Grateful for the free lactation support groups which helped me early on with valuable support for breastfeeding. Made an appointment for a $75 private consult with Rochelle hoping to finally get some good support for my baby's latch. She tried all the same tricks other LCs had already showed me, was incorrect about a possible tongue tie, spilled breastmilk all over the floor as she tried to use a syringe tube, and was generally unhelpful. She said she would followup and never did. This is my experience, and maybe she was having an off day, but I wish I hadn't wasted my time and money. read more

Where to start? Whether you are a first-time or experienced parent, Babies in Bloom has resources for you. In addition to their boutique, BiB offers a full range of prenatal through postnatal classes, as well as an on-site birth center. The boutique carries items for all stages of pregnancy and birth plus clothing, supplies and toys for babies and children. The classes include newborn and breastfeeding educational courses, childbirth training, and fitness classes. Babies in Bloom has two birth suites for a private, intimate delivery with a midwife of your choice. The birth suites offer a more personal experience than a hospital birth and include a birth tub, full size bed, in-room bathroom, and nearby kitchen/family room for friends and family. The owner Rochelle is a great resource for all things pregnancy related. She is a certified lactation consultant available for one-on-one appointments and guidance. Babies in Bloom was my home away from home throughout my pregnancy and I loved all of the classes and relationships I formed at BiB. read more

(This review is strictly on the birth center) Words will never be able to fully express the gratitude I have for the center, midwives and the staff. I met with Rochelle in hopes that I would be able to have the birth I always dreamed about. Rochelle was more than accommodating and understanding of my situation and worked so well to provide all the answers I needed. Along with birthing privileges I also took yoga, breastfeeding course and a newborn care course; all included with my co-pay through insurance! The actual birth day was exactly as I had envisioned it, a blissful dream. The San Diego Midwives team provided exceptional and loving care, as if this was their child brought into the world. There was a nurse on staff with Babies in Bloom, Courtney, who remained with me until my discharge. I cannot give Courtney enough praise for having such professionalism and behind the scenes care. She sent me home with a mommy care package stocked with all postpartum needs, and Rochelle came in with a baby care package with awesome (and needed/much appreciated) sample products and coupons from the boutique! I was bringing the most precious thing into this world and I knew that the entire team from BiB was dedicated and prepped for this task. If I could give them a 10/10 I absolutely would for the most wonderful birth experience at Babies in Bloom. There are not enough words to praise everyone involved in my birth, because of this amazing center, I was able to relax and bring my healthy baby girl into this world so beautifully. read more

Rochelle is amazing when it comes to all things breast feeding! She was able to resolve issues that other location consultants couldn't or just brushed off as "looks fine". In just one private session she helped us tremendously with the latch and with getting off nipple shields. Babies in Bloom offers so much to their customers. The classes and lactation lounge have been great! At the store you can look at cloth diapers and see the different styles. This was really helpful when trying to pick some out. The cloth diaper class was also very helpful and FREE! Going into the store you can look at and get more hands on with the products than at the big box stores. The staff has always been very helpful. read more

I (Alison) LOVE Babies in Bloom. It is such a great store for all the natural baby and mommy products you could ever want. Not only to they have a large selection, but their employees are so knowledgable about each product and can help direct you to exactly the thing you are looking for (or all the fun things you didn't even know you needed until you find them!). I visit the store pretty regularly and it doesn't take long to get to know all the girls that work there and they truly make you feel like part of the Babies in Bloom family every time you walk in the door. I also can't say enough about their lactation services. Not only do they have Lactation Lounge, which is a fun support group for breastfeeding moms, but Rochelle, the owner, offers private lactation consultations. Rochelle is so encouraging and helpful and after spending a little time working with her, you will feel like you can defeat any breastfeeding challenge that comes your way. I have needed the lactation services at Babies in Bloom (including pump and scale rental) multiple times in my breastfeeding journey and I can honestly say I would never go anywhere else or recommend that my friends go anywhere else for help besides to Babies in Bloom. They also have tons of fun classes for all of your parenting interests including baby-wearing, cloth diapering, prenatal and mommy and me yoga and several other classes. I really wish all stores could have the same warmth and customer service priority that Babies in Bloom has. It is definitely my favorite place to shop and my go-to for any parenting products or support I may need! read more
