Decent selection of sushi (you can get freshly made if you ask nicely!), Pizza Hut, pre-packaged sandwiches and snack food.

The space is really nice, clean, and very nostalgic, it gives old school 90s Brasil vibes, iykyk! There is limited parking right in front of the restaurant with their food truck taking up half the spots. There were no staff present when we walked in, they were in the back, so we went up and ordered using the tablets. While convenient, I find this set up super impersonal. The food, 1 burger, 2 pressed hotdogs, and fries, took longer than we expected 20-25 mins. Once we did interact with the staff, they were super friendly! Now for the food, fries were way over salted, we had to wipe them off using napkins. Burger meat and bun were dry, the patty was also really salty. The pressed hotdogs were fine but they changed the hot dog they use and it wasn't our preference. The homemade mayo was really nice. While the sandwiches are substantial, given the quality, they're expensive when compared with similar options in the area. Overall, not as good as we remembered though I would recommend for the close to what you'd find in Brasil, authentic experience. We hope they can get back to what made them so special when they first started!

We had heard about this pop up Lobster Roll stand on the edge of Falmouth along the Woods Hole Rd…read more We found a day that they were open, when we were free on a quick trip to town this year. It's located in a parking lot area near an old pub and you can park in that lot if you stay to eat here. It is simple and plain, a small family run operation, and there is but one picnic table in a shady area with a lawn, if you want to stay and eat. Most people seemed to grab and go. We planned to stay and shared the table, first with a family visiting from VA and as they left, a local Uber Driver on a lunch break stopped by, which she said she did when she was in that part of town at lunchtime. We had casual conversations with both. The lobster was pre-measured in little bags, obviously steamed, shelled and portioned for rolls in a kitchen somewhere. The other foods offered were hot dogs for kids and andouille sausage on rolls too. There were typical canned sodas to drink and bags of chips. Cars stopped by and did literally, grab and go, causing some traffic backups and horn honking on such a busy road. It was the simplest and blandest roll of our trip, although freshly steamed lobster meat, which we cannot easily get at home in CO for such a low price. I'm not sure it is worth going out of your way for, but if you are driving by, it's a quick stop.

What is there to say? The best burgers, dogs, popcorn and slush in town at very reasonable prices. They also sell pizza from a local pizza shop which is a nice change if you're all burgered out. The pizza is always hot and fresh, too. This year they started making a very respectable grilled cheese as well. Nothing enticing you yet? Consider this: probably three nights out of seven, my husband eats one of their soft pretzels for dinner. They're awesome. The value is great. You can feed three kids for like twelve bucks. I have done it, probably far too many times than is good for anyone, but it beats negotiating bites of veggies at home with your youngest child while simultaneously screaming at your oldest to get all their baseball stuff together and into a bag because they're already 10 minutes late for warmups. We've all been there, am I right? And as for your husband, he can buy his own soft pretzel, because clearly you have enough to worry about. You can get 20 pieces of the most delicious gum in the world for a dollar. And you will definitely need all twenty pieces in a single day or night because a piece loses its flavor in about .023 seconds. If you're an adult, you spit the old one out and pop another. If you're a kid, you just jam two more into your craw to pep up the existing piece. If you think I'm kidding, take a look at some of the ballplayers in the complex. At any given moment, the average kid has 8-10 pieces shoved in their mouths. Isn't that part of the fun, though? If early-onset TMJ isn't your thing, but you still want something sweet, they have lots of delicious candy and soda too. The people who work there are all great. Mostly a volunteer staff of parents and surprisingly unsurly teens. Rooney's: come for the food, stay for the opportunity to get hit by a foul ball from a game you're not even watching.

Curious about their "sweet corn patties with mozzarella cheese" which were grilled on site (but seemingly bought packaged), I stopped despite the fact that I had recently consumed my lunch. For $4, I received a 'sandwich' wrapped in foil with a paper napkin cushioning my hand against the heat of the contents. It was about 4 inches in diameter, and fully heated through. It was reminiscient of a corny grilled cheese or a corny sauceless pizza. Since, hobbit-like, it was my 2nd mid-day meal, I couldn't believe I ate the whole thing, but then I figured it wouldn't reheat in a microwave all that well... It was a nice snack, but it is priced a little high to make it as a regular snack destination for me... more like a special sometime treat. PS - it is noted on the cart that the arepas are Gluten-Free.

The cheese must have been sitting out for a few days because it was so dry it wouldn't melt. Also the vendor was a huge dick to me. Got mad about me paying by card for a $6 order (that I'm 90% sure was advertised as $5) and mansplained credit card transactions to me. I was so jarred that I asked for my card back but he insisted on completing the transaction while complaining about cars payments the entire time. Do NOT eat here. You will regret it. If curious, this was the cart across from Boston Public Library.

That's saying a lot because I have sampled many, many croissants. The Yum roll was melt-in-your- mouth delicious with the perfect balance of sweet with a hint of salt, crunchy around the edges and topped with a delightful creamy drizzle of caramel. The plain croissants were perfectly fluffy and flaky. The almond square was pure heaven with a deep almond flavored frangipane surrounded by crunchy layers. The bakery itself is really cute.
