The place is not dark at all. It is a wide open space completely filled with used items, things that you would look for on Kijiji, only cheaper than it. I was browsing through Kijiji for items, and figured I might just try this place out. I found more than everything I needed there at a very affordable price. Wagons, slides, bassinets, strollers, bikes... The items are checked, lightly cleaned, absolutely reusable with just a bit more care. The owner looked like a really honest and nice guy. I have no clue how he makes profit. In anyway, this is my go to place when I need something.

Once we got the assistance, we found the staff to be knowledgeable of the products they sell. The next part should maybe be more for the company's Yell page... I'm not too impressed with their online site/shop though. Whoever looks after keeping track of inventory does not do a good job. Before leaving the house, their site said that the Etobicoke location had 3 in stock. Literally 15 minutes later when we arrived, we were told that the store had none in stock. We also ordered a stroller back in October through their online shop. The payment went through and the ETA was about a week later. Two weeks later, we had not heard from the company until they sent us an email saying they actually didn't have the stroller in their warehouse. Again, their online shop listed a lot of inventory in stock. We ordered another stroller on Boxing Day. I'm crossing my fingers that it'll arrive. It was supposed to arrive on the 31st, but was then told January 3. When I called the store on January 3, they're now not sure about when it'll arrive. Let's see... Good for: baby stuff

Their courrier delivered my gear to the wrong address, and when I called to look into it, nobody answered the phone or returned my message even though I called during business hours. Finally somebody replied to an e-mail I sent (they called at 8:30 that night), but I had already been calling everybody I knew in Toronto to find somewhere safe for my daughter to go to sleep (her bedtime is 7). Luckily a friend of a friend had some extra gear. Wee Travel did offer to deliver gear in the morning, but I expected a discount due to this major mess-up. They said they would only refund the delivery/pick up fee, and didn't seem to understand that it is a big deal to have the stuff you need when you're traveling with a baby. I understand that mistakes happen, but I was unimpressed by how this company handled it. Next time I would use a different service - there are several in Toronto.
