I had an appointment in June, but the clinic called me and told me that the machine was not working and that I needed to reschedule because they could not perform the mammogram. They rescheduled me for August 13, but while I was on my way to the appointment, they called me and said that there was no staff available to perform the mammogram, so they had to cancel my appointment. They then rescheduled me for August 17. Once again, they called me and told me that the machine was not working. At that point, I became frustrated and asked to speak with the manager. I was initially given a phone number that did not work. Eventually, I was able to get the manager's phone number. Her name is Maria, and her number is 1 (510) 812-9237. I called her about 10 days ago and left her a voicemail, but she never returned my call. Then today, after everything I have already been through, my appointment was canceled simply because I did not have my Medical card with me--even though I was already there and had arrived early. The employee who assisted me was an Asian woman. I do not remember her name, but she was working there today at approximately 4:30 PM. Her attitude was very unpleasant, and she was not helpful at all. She did not try to offer me any options or find a way to help me avoid canceling the appointment. Instead, she simply canceled my appointment. She also seemed more interested in being on her cell phone than helping me. What kind of customer service is this? Why are the employees at this location so unfriendly and unwilling to find a solution or an alternative to help patients instead of simply canceling their appointments? The clinic has already canceled my appointment three times--once because the machine was not working, another time because there was no staff available, and another time because the machine was not working again. And now, when I finally show up for my appointment, they refuse to see me because I did not have my Medical card with me. I am extremely disappointed with the way I was treated and with the lack of professionalism and customer service at this clinic. Unfortunately, I can now understand why they have such poor reviews.

This experience was not only unprofessional but also failed to resolve the issue at hand. Instances of poor customer service should be addressed to ensure that other patients do not face similar issues in the future. I also called the clinic office and they could not provide me any details. I would not recommend this office due to their billing practices and lack of transparency. Edit: I was told I was billed for a "service" that required a copay by my insurance. The "service" was a quick question that took a couple minutes to answer/explain. I understand medical billing is complex, but I felt deceived that asking a doctor a question related to my visit resulted in additional copayment without my knowledge or consent, and I was only informed 8-9 months later. It is unfortunate and saddening that the medical system has created a system where patients can be taken advantage of where asking a doctor questions during an appointment can result in unexpected costs.
