The office doesn't look like much from the outside, but let me tell you. The care and the quality of the staff here are absolutely mind blowing. We arrived a few minutes late to our appointment due to some of the side effects of the pre-surgical prep my wife had to do. The staff was patient and understanding, and held onto everything until we arrived. Our nurse was incredible. He answered all of our questions, went out of his way to ensure my wife's comfort before surgery, and was pleasant every step of the way. The surgery went without a hitch. The surgeon was attentive and kind while answering our many questions. They even asked my wife what sort of music she likes to listen to, and played it during the procedure. Truly, I can't say enough good about this surgical center. If you find yourself with a procedure scheduled here, know that you're in for a great experience during a scary time. read more

It was an absolute delight to be taken care of by Doctor Parsa. I switched from my old doctor to him and I immediately saw a big difference. He was way more thorough and professional than my previous doctor and I wish I had known about him sooner. Every time I talked to him, he listens thoroughly to me and never dismisses any of my concerns, making sure to give me all the answers I needed. I was here today for a procedure and from before we got there to the care we received while on location was nothing short of impeccable. Minimally invasive doesn't always mean minimal pain... at least in my case. The team inside the surgical room worked efficiently but also were personable. After the procedure, my nurse did an excellent job of keeping pain under control. I'd say it was the best bedside manner of any office I had been to before. read more

Dr. Reza Malek is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. Strongly recommend seeing him. When my grandmother started getting leg pain we were sent to a vascular surgeon. We wanted to find the best doctor for her. We visited a couple of places before we found this place, but when I got to Minimally Invasive surgical solutions, I knew it was a good place for her. The staff at this place is so friendly and accommodating. While I waited for her appointment, the staff talked to me and explained some of the questions that I had. Most important the Dr. was amazing and made both of us feel like we were in good hands. He is very competent in vascular issues. My wife was sent to Dr. Malek to have an angiogram done for a mass or cavernoma in her brain. Every appointment we had to wait over an hour to see the doctor. One appoinment was special set so we could talk to him after he presented her case to his Neuro team that meets monthly. We showed up, on time, waited an hour and a half just to learn he had taken a vacation instead of attending his team meeting and had no news for her. During angiogram in the back part of the office, yes not at hospital, he gave her local anesthesia and immediately made cut and started inserting tube before pain numbing agent could work. Was unable to get the dye to the desired location in brain, so tried a different route and the numbing agent wore off and he would not give her another shot, just said he would be done shortly. Looking back, should have insisted the procedure be done in hospital for a number of safety reasons. He just wanted all the money to go to his facility. I would not recommend this doctor or office. My wife ended up at Stanford and the Neuro surgeon cringed when we answered his question of who did the angiogram. He was well aware of their "back office" procedures and said most of Malek's angiograms are not complete and the written reports are just as lacking. Do yourself a favor and find a better doctor. read more

Not just the best but the GREATEST. Both I and my husband have been seeing Dr. Lindsey Pierce for a variety of medical issues. Dr. Pierce is diligent and gives us 110% to address our medical issues. In addition to performing top-notch work, she is very kind and spends as much time as we need to address our concerns. I am so thankful we found her. She is literally a God send. I also wanted to take the time to address the office staff who are equally as hard-working and dedicated to patient care. The office staff goes beyond the call of duty to make sure we have pre, post-appointment care. We live in Gilroy and drive to see Dr. Pierce at the S. I wish I could rate zero stars for this clinic. It appears that the staff is not professionals. I suppose that they get their additive from the doctors. I took my 77-year-old mother to see Dr. Padidar for a consultation and the doctor was rude to my mother's needs. Everything my mother mentioned that she was suffering from he took it as a joke. His comment towards my mother was that she was not a 20 year old and her pains and complaints were due to her being old. Know I believe that both my mother and I understand that is older and aging and with that comes some type of pain and discomfort but for a professional to be so rude and unprofessional was unnecessary. He did not take anything seriously and kept cutting us off with the remarks that my mother was not a twenty year old should not expect to have legs like a twenty-year girl was disrespectful, to say the least. My mother did not come to see Dr.Padidar for a cosmetic reason but more for pain, discomfort, and to be able to have a better night rest since has been suffering from pain on her legs for several months. To make matters worse he scheduled her for surgery and on that day it appeared that it was not possible to perform the procedure so he had the nurses perform several ultrasounds and than had the nurse tell us that the procedure would not be possible for whatever reason but not once did the doctor come back to the surgical room to explain what happened and what that means for my mother moving forward. Instead, the doctor went on to treat other patients. We felt discarded like trash. I have been trying to reschedule a follow up appointment for two weeks and the staff has been giving me a hard time. They take my mother and my information and state they will call us back but no one does. This is really bad practice and lack of consideration towards the patients. Very unprofessional. I would not recommend Dr. Padidar. Safe yourself the headaches and look for a better surgeon. read more

Wow! I don't usually write reviews - especially of my doctors but this clinic is different. I was referred here by my primary care doctor after a VERY frustrating string of events. I went to Dr. Pierce who saw me right away (which I was surprised about because usually with specialists it takes forever) and was kind to me. She really made me feel calm about my treatment and made me understand what I would be feeling and when. I recovered very quickly - just as described - and haven't had any side effects. I had visited this company 2 years ago for a CT, now I have a collection agency after me and my credit went down 68 points!! I called Minimally Invasive Surgical and the reason they turned it over to the collection agency was because there was $300 left over after billing my insurance and they lost my address...they had me listed as homeless and I never received a bill!! So now, in addition to my credit taking a dive (during refinancing my house), I also have to pay the additional $70 in interest that accumulated during the time that the bill went unpaid! read more

Dr Malek and the nurses that work here are attentive, reassuring, accommodating and dedicated to giving your the best results. My schedule opened up and he fit me in last minute. What I appreciated most was the fact that he was upfront and honest about what he could do for me. I came in for a few issues, and he told me which ones he could treat, and which ones would require another surgery. His office is conveniently located, clean, and friendly environment to visit. It was a very relaxing visit, unlike the typical doctor's appointment. Some advice:  Once you have the procedure done, follow his instructions exactly. If you don't understand, ask your questions. He takes the time to explain them, and following them will make your results great. My family was a bit worried before the procedure but now everyone notices the results and how happy I am. read more

(1) Dr. Dan Anghelescu is not qualified to make the procedures. He spent more than 4 hours to insert a stent on my left leg artery and the basket was full of the mixture of blood and injected liquid; (2) Dr. Padidar was scheduled to perform the above procedure but he transferred the procedure to Dr. Anghelescu few minutes before the procedure without my concent; (3) the procedure was not done properly and the problem came back after one month. When I report it to Dr Padidar, he refused to rework to solve the problem; (4) Dr. Cipriano is a very experienced doctor who performed the rework to fix the problem. However, it was only good for 3 months. The same problem came back. After revisiting him, he did not have solution to solve it. (5) Overall evaluation to this clinic: (a) The doctors are not reachable, not phone no email; (2) they only apply two major approaches (i) stent and (ii) bloom expansion. They do not have or never tried the clot removal devices such as ClotTriever or Penumbra etc. My problem was successfully solved at Stanford Hospital with Penumbra approach. read more

My wife had a surgery with Dr Malek. No complains about surgery. Things went well and recovery is being good. Personnel is also kind and very attentive. The problem is 2 times we have an appointment with Dr Malek, both he delayed 2 hours (2 hours!) we have children, I work, organizing is not easy and 2 hours waiting for a simple assessment and review is just not acceptable. If he has an emergency, ok, but both times having an emergency and having to re-schedule 4 patients sounds more like poor organization and no respect for pacients' own time. read more

Called to have a dialysis catheter removed from neck/chest. Scheduler was busy with another client, would call when finished. Office closed no call back. Called the next business day, scheduler was out of office, was promised a call next day. Next came and went no call. Called the next day, was told scheduler was busy with patient would get call when finished. No call back. Dr. Cipriano, the doctor that placed the catheter, was awesome but the office staff is horrible. read more

Dr. Padidar is simply a brilliant physician. If you are lucky enough to have him as your Doctor you are very lucky. My treatments here is simply gave me back my life. He diagnosed the root cause of the condition I had been feeling this whole time, that no one could seem to find.He was cautious and made sure not to move forward with any procedure before making sure there were no underlying issues. He isn't there to hold your hand, he is there to make sure you live your best everyday without pain. I'm so happy I found Charlene RN at "Vanishing Veins". She's very skilled at diagnosing and treating varicose and spider veins. I had two other consultations/estimates with well-know (and well-advertised MDs). They tried to sell me expensive tests and treatments that were way out of my price range. I had almost decided to live with my unsightly leg veins before I found Charlene. She carefully and clearly explains the problem, treatment plan and the (honest) expected outcome. The cost was VERY affordable and she seems to really enjoy her work and helping people. Her nursing assistant (so sorry, I forgot her name) is very helpful and nice also. The only recommendation I have is to verify your appt. a day or two before. The girls answering the phone are a little disorganized but Charlene is amazing and I'm very happy with my results. Dr. Raman was wonderful during my CT scan. I am new to the Bay Area and have found healthcare providers care less about patient quality and more about quantity. This was NOT the case for Minimally Invasive Surgical solutions. Their front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly, making me feel welcomed and easily able to contact and ask them questions.
