I called to see if my kids can go back there and the young lady that picked up the phone said that he doesn't take old patients back, which is weird because when I called the insurance and they said it it shouldn't be a problem since the kids were already going to him. And they treat you different if you choose not to vaccinate, which is not fair because if that is a personal decision, why would you be upset on what a family chooses that is none of your business and we have all these reasons why. Like I said before, the doctor is absolutely great. He was really good with it my son who has a lot of medical conditions and because we choose a Holistic lifestyle they prefer you don't come back even though the doctor was fully aware that I do not medicate my child because he had many reactions. We eat healthier and it has helped tremendously. I really wish the doctor would teach staff that when it comes to personal family decisions, they shouldn't treat families different because they choose to do things differently. All of them research, and have done their residency at the top pediatric hospitals including pediatric emergency. I rarely write reviews but whilst I was looking up their phone number on google, I saw that their rating was skewed by one parent and it hurt to see less than 5 stars next to their practice. And so since we're in the digital age I felt compelled to leave a review even though, as all of their patients will say, they do not need one. So just a small fact. After I gave birth, the L&D nurse at the hospital looked at my paperwork and commented that I had the names of pediatricians that many OB doctors use for their own children. I also had no idea my own OB's children (who are in college now) saw Dr. Rosenbaum. But I was originally referred to them by our neighbor whose kids (now in their late 20s) were among the group's first patients and to this day still tell stories of how Dr. Rosenbaum diagnosed a difficult issue and promptly admitted their child into the right hands at the right hospital where the doctors at the hospital praised him for his diligence and diagnostic skills. When my baby, maybe at 8 weeks or so fell out of my sling, I was beyond hysterical. I failed to hear the numerous times he assured me that she was just fine and finally I snapped out of my worries when he said, "It's physics." I can totally see why other doctors appreciate his matter-of-science facts approach. But our doctor there is Dr. Rosenfeld and she is beyond wonderful, sensitive and will genuinely listen with empathy. I know she's had to deal with parents with kids with serious issues but she never makes your worries, about the small things like rashes, ear infections, coughs, even sleep issues, feel less than that. Right after my kids were born, she focused on me and never failed to ask how I was doing in those early postpartum weeks, and what I was doing for myself. That meant the world to me. She has referred us to some of the most amazing specialists - from the country's top allergist to the most amazing Osteopath in the world. She won't hesitate to tell you if you need antibiotics for an ear infections (like when my daughter's ear drum burst), but will recommend natural approaches like when my younger one had warts all over her fingers and my husband feared having them cut out like he had to when he was a kid. Well, Dr. Rosenfeld recommended homeopathic pills (they are tiny sugar pills that my kids think are candy) and to all our shock, the warts disappeared. We have believed in homeopathy since we started seeing her 4 years ago, but I thought surely it won't work for warts. If you're open minded I can't recommend a better doctor. I don't think Yelp will let me write a book here but I'll mention the other doctors we have also seen when Dr. Rosenfeld wasn't on call. My older one when she was 2, went through a stage she didn't like going to the doctors. It was a bad winter with RSV, ear infections so we were going frequently. It just so happened that the multiple visits we made over few weeks, Dr. Rosenfled was downtown and we saw Dr. softness. After seeing him first time, she told me she only wants to him when Dr. Rosenfeld is not in her office. She lit up when Dr. Softness came into the room and sat patiently as he examined her ears. And Dr. Brandes is the doctor I will recommend if you need a doctor who will listen to all your concerns no matter how small without EVER making you feel you've taken too much of her time (I have literally spent 30mins with her as a first time mother asking about the 0.00001g of weight my daughter lost) and she never once stopped me as I was being that crazy mom, and she listened intently and then assured and reassured me. Years later, she was on call the weekend we were away when my daughter broke out in rashes and she repeatedly called me to check in throughout the weekend. I can't tell you what it means to have that kind of doctor. In short, all doctors have their own personalities, approaches to practicing, and it really depends on who you think would best be suited for you and your family. But if your child has a serious issue, you have the a group of doctor with the experience and background to diagnose and refer you to the best specialists in the country.

He was very friendly, understanding, and taught us how to swaddle and break down some parenting myths. We decided to use Dr Mo as our pediatrician as he was close to our home in Lyndhurst. We could relate to his stories of his own children and he was open to all questions about our precious little boy. His positive attitude and crazy socks always would brighten our(child's) day in times of sickness and checkup shots. The office had been crowded at times but the staff could always accommodate our appointment requests and had Saturday visits as well. We have since moved 45 minutes away to Morris County but we feel Dr Mo's care is worth the trip and his care and association with Hackensack hospital gives our child everything he needs. The first thing we noticed about their practice is that all the doctors are Board Certified in Pediatric medicine. When we first looked for a pediatrician, it was the time when people thought regular vaccines caused autism & other problems (around 2009), which later turned out to be untrue. But, to be on the safe side, this was one of the few medical practices in NJ that would separate all the different required children's vaccines, & let you get them one by one (which is not necessary anymore). We wanted our kids to be vaccinated, but worried about doing them grouped together as usual. The doctors have the best bed-side manner, & also make everyone feel comfortable, both parents & children. All the nurses & staff are excellent too. The office & exam rooms are clean & comfortable. It was also a benefit for us, because my wife preferred to speak Polish to doctors then, but I only speak English. So we both could understand whatever we needed, all the doctors are bilingual, and one may know Spanish too. They take care of so many children in the local area, it is easy to compare experiences with other parents. Everything they ever prescribed, whether a nebulizer w/ its aerated medicine, or pills, or liquid, or whatever, was always very well explained w/ all our questions answered. When the kids were very young, we had occasions of fear, where we called after hours to leave a phone message w/ their answering service. It was the first doctor I ever went to who actually returned the call quickly via their cell phone, which always amazed me, But I was very thankful for. It shows their level of care & concern. Their years of experience are hard to match, and their experience shows during their examination & treatment, by the questions they ask, & the way they address whatever the diagnosis was. I have never found a reason to complain about any aspect of their practice, which is exactly what you want for a pediatrician treating your child.
