We couldn't be happier with our experience working with Laura for our newborn's photoshoot and give her the utmost recommendation! After our baby boy was born, my wife and I realized that amidst the chaos, we never scheduled a newborn photoshoot as we planned. Therefore, we had to find a photographer that had an opening within a week's timeframe, was located within our area, and had fair pricing. Among the photographers we reached out to, Laura satisfied all 3 and was highly communicative and accommodating and made for an easy choice. Ahead of the photoshoot, Laura helped us preplan different poses, accessories, and backgrounds. We had an idea to pose our baby as part of an Asian Dim Sum set with no expectation that Laura could execute it but she encouraged it and got us excited about it. During the shoot, Laura's studio was perfectly set up for our baby and she took precautions as well (facemask, gloves, etc). She was also super adept at swaddling and calming our baby to sleep, so much so that as new parents, we learned some new techniques from her! Laura even accommodated our dog and we were able to incorporate him into a few photos. The photoshoot went very smooth and we felt grateful to have one of the first milestone experiences with our baby. After the photoshoot, we were able to select our favorite ones and Laura made all the necessary edits with a quick turnaround time. We're more than satisfied with our photos and have been very proud to use them in baby announcements and registry thank you cards to our friends and family. read more

Laura was amazing to work with for our newborn photos and family package add on. She went above and beyond to make some props for our baby that enhanced the fantasy feel of the shots. She was very accommodating to our multiple poses and costumes that we wanted to wear. I appreciate that she provided suggestions of what pose adjustments look best and added their expertise. I am a little hesitant to write a review because Laura is so freaking amazing! I want her and her business to thrive, but I selfishly want to keep her all to myself haha! In all seriousness, Laura is (simply put) INCREDIBLE! Not only are her photos excellent, but she is so kind, warm, and knowledgable. When you come to her studio, she creates a calming and inviting environment that really signals you that you are in great hands. I recently had a newborn and I did not realize how quickly time would fly with all the craziness of a baby. I contacted Laura when my son was about 3-4 weeks (typically you do newborn photoshoots RIGHT AWAY! my bad!). Laura was extremely accommodating and got her on her schedule asap. She was able to work with our son with different shots poses quickly to maximize our studio time and minimize our son's fussiness. We loved working with Laura! She works out of her beautiful home studio and has a designated room for newborns. It's clean, cute and she keeps it warm. Our newborn was comfortable when she switched out swaddles. She did such a great job with posing him and getting the best shots possible. The photos turned out great! After the shoot, she will email the proofs within 3-4 days. From there, you choose which ones you want her to edit and her turnaround time for that is about 7-10 days. We were extremely happy with our newborn photo session with Laura at her home studio. Her home studio's very clean, comfy and stylish. She's very cautious and wore mask and gloves. She had special ways in calming the baby such that different poses could be taken in various setups. We were completely comfortable with her handling the baby. Laura really went above and beyond to make it an incredible experience. We wanted tulips for the photoshoot but were too overwhelmed taking care of the newborn to go out and purchase the tulips. Laura texted me and asked whether she could purchase for us as she's going to the market. She got us some beautiful tulips to use for the photoshoot and to take home. Our photoshoot went longer than expected but Laura didn't seem to mind. She was focused on getting as many great photos as possible and she's quite the perfectionist. We were very happy with our newborn photo session with Laura. When I reached out to schedule, she responded right away and was very accommodating of my husband's busy work schedule. On the day of the shoot, she was very patient with my newborn, taking breaks for him to feed and settle into the most adorable poses. Laura was AMAZING! This was my first baby so I didn't realize there was a timeframe for newborn photos. She was able to get my daughter in ASAP! The environment was very calming and space for me to feed my daughter when needed. This review is a little late, a year late to be presise but better late than never. Babyfaces photography is one of the best kept secrets in PLS. We did our daughter's session here and I cannot recommend Laura enough, she's the perfect blend of professionalism and empathy. Yes, I added two very different meaning words together but she truly is that. Not only did she accommodate us in a short notice, but made so many adjustments to the schedule just because we had another young one whose routine had to be emaculate throughout the day. My newborn's photoshoot with Laura was really pleasant. She is accommodating, patient, highly skillful, handles newborns really well. We initially planned for 2.5hr session, but things didn't go as planned, but Laura is too kind to extend the session for 90 more minutes until all our selected setups, props were captured. Laura took newborn pictures for my baby daughter in January. The pictures were fabulous. She was very patient and spent plenty of time to make sure the images were perfect. We love Laura and her photos! Laura started taking pictures for us when our twins were born and did a set every 3 or 4 months and then photographed our new baby as well. She was always willing to work with us to get exactly what we wanted. She is great with the kids and an AMAZING photographer. Prices are super reasonable considering you get to keep all the pictures, unlike other places where you have to buy the negatives (if they even let you do that). We recently moved to Colorado and were sad to have to leave Laura behind as she has documented the lives of our children so wonderfully. This time around we brought our 4 year old to capture family portraits along with newborn pics.
