He is honest, humble and gracious. I stopped in for his help in getting some road paint off my new Lexus. To my surprise, Nick dropped everything when I walked in and went straight out into the parking lot. Got down on his knees and his back and started the work right there and then. He worked for well around thirty minutes and made my Lexus spot free of any road paint. Nick gave me some advice for the future. I am grateful for his dedication to his occupation. They've gone above and beyond to remove some pretty gnarly gunk off of my cars--things I didn't even expect them to address ie a glitter bomb all through the back of the car, an entire family size box of junior mints melted underneath the seat, and wood scratches on the outside of my car that I honestly thought I'd have to file an insurance claim to take care of. Also, I was involved in a small fender bender that left scratches all along my bumper. The insurance estimate to take care of it was $600! These guys buffed it out at no extra cost. I am not looking for a refund or anything like that, I am just sharing my experience. After getting an appointment set in advance for 10 am, I was given an estimate of 3-4 hours. I ended up finally getting the car at 6 pm. 45 minutes prior to this, an employee, who I was told was "in training" pulled the car up front for a final inspection. The senior employee immediately realized the car needed extra work and set about doing it. I was given explanations that they were overbooked and that a person in training had handled the majority of the detail. The problem was, the "details" were not handled. Even after pointing out several issues and having them corrected, more problems were clear. After 8 hours, I just wanted to leave. I was offered a 5% discount and given a few apologies, which were appreciated. My main concern is that they allowed an employee in training to handle a detail with minimal oversight due to being overbooked. I will include photos of the issues and let those reading decide if the work is up to the standards that a $170 detail should require. Sadly, I do not believe I will be able to give additional business to Kool Rides despite the kind people who run the place. I will pay the premium and go to Manhattan Auto Spa.

Blown away by this shop…read more I hit a turkey on the interstate. No kidding, a turkey and it went through the grill. The shop kept me informed along the way, allowed me to leave the rental car with them, and most importantly took good care of my vehicle. The repairs look perfect, the car drives great, and then even detailed the inside. I hope I never have to get a collision repair done again, but if I do, I am going to Classic Collision.
