They had ducks hanging there but we didn't want to get a whole duck so we got the packaged combo for $7.99, which we should have known would be dry. We also selected the pork belly bowl, also prepackaged, which was $9.99. Both came with rice. We also got shumai. The food wasn't horrible, and I guess if you're in a rush and want something prepackaged then this will do fine. But there's so many other places to get good food that tastes like they cared about it.

A whole duck costs $32.99 and half a duck costs $19.99... get the whole duck! It's a better deal. As for hot foods, eggplant looked very good, but I didn't buy any of it either. Their hot foods options aren't as good as the ones at 99 Ranch in Rancho Cucamonga. Although they have more of a variety of hot foods here. I ended up getting 1 large container of hot and sour soup and 1 order of 3 shrimp balls. Wow, prices have sure gone up for the shrimp balls... it was almost $6. Staff and service was okay. There is a community seating area shared with the other food vendors. As for my return here, I probably may not unless their roasted duck looks plumper and their hot food selections are better. Btw, if I recall, the restrooms are near Asian Kitchen.

We shared the philly roll so we think the salmon was bad. We also got separate ramen bowls. The miso ramen broth had a good flavor but the drunken ramen was pretty bland besides a straight basil and ginger flavor. The pork was very firm and difficult to chew in both of our meals. The egg was closer to hard boiled than soft boiled. The noodles were cooked well. The thai tea was decent. It was extremely sweet and diluted and didn't have that strong flavor most thai tea has. Service-wise, the waitress was friendly but she disappeared from the floor after giving us our food for about 30 minutes and never checked in with us or was available when we were ready to leave.

We had about half the group arrive and then waited another 20-30 minutes and the rest of the group arrived, then about 10-15 minutes after that the food started arriving. For those of us that got there on time for the reservation, it was a long time to wait for food. The food was good though, it was family style with lots of dishes. First, they started with appetizers, then got into main dishes by the time the last main dish got out we were all pretty full. Perfect amount of food. Service was good, a little hard for them to watch after 25 people understandably, but they were friendly and did a good job.

Showed up 12:40 didn't get sat till 1:15 so what's the point of the reservation. Then we after we got sat we waited like 15 mins to have someone come actually help us. After we ordered drinks it took about 10 mins to get the drinks... my brother looked at me and said "bro I'm so thirsty right now I'm not even hungry anymore". After our waitress got back we just said eff it put in the order for food now or else we're never gonna get anything. We got the edamame and brussels sprouts as appetizers and we also ordered our food. It took another 25 mins to get our appetizers and when we finally got our food they brought the plates out they only brought out 3 then like 5 mins later the other two plates. so some of us were eating off other people plates cause the food came out so dispersed. Finally, when we were getting ready to pay, we had some leftover food because the plates were brought out so far apart. When we asked for boxes, the waitress boxed everything for us and instead of using multiple boxes, she threw the shrimp with the chicken together...... WHY TF WOULD YOU MIX FOODS. My brother is allergic to shellfish so he's not even able to eat his left over food.. I'm not lying that restaurant is a joke.

I realized after the fact that I had actually been here a couple years back, but luckily, it's worthy of its positive reviews. We ordered a pretty solid spread: pad Thai, chicken satay, a Panang pork curry, and another noodle dish that ended up being really tasty. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. No real misses in the group, which is always a win when you're ordering family-style and everyone is picking off everyone else's plates like civilized vultures. The chicken satay was a nice starter, the pad Thai was dependable and well-balanced, and the curry had good flavor. I do think it's a little odd when rice doesn't automatically come with curry, especially when there isn't really a lunch special price going on. Not the end of the world, but when you order curry, rice feels like it should be part of the team, not a free agent with a separate contract. Service was good and the food came out pretty quickly. Atmosphere-wise, it's more fast-casual than date-night destination. Clean and functional, but not a ton of ambiance. Prices are maybe a touch on the higher side for the overall setup, but the food quality helps justify it. Would I drive from OC just for this? Probably not, since we have some strong Thai options closer to home. But if you're in the Eastvale area and want a reliable Thai spot with good food and friendly service, Little Buddha Kitchen is definitely worth checking out.
