I can't wait. The staff were also very helpful, kind & knowledgeable. Specifically I worked with a brunette lady the first few times I visited who taught me about evergreens and ground cover and today I worked with a blonde lady who helped me pick lavender and a peach tree. My garden is looking great and I even got a compliment on it the other day. I really think it's thanks to the quality of the plants they have here, as well as the help I received, because I do not really have much of a green thumb! I will say I did not take the advice of keeping my peppers indoors when I purchased them in a colder month, but they are still budding/ flowering even though the leaves are not in their best shape, but that's my own fault for being impatient.

My family and I visited Woods Nursery over Memorial weekend to look at the flowers, which has…read morebecome a wonderful tradition for us after a coffee and donut date. My first visit to the nursery was fantastic, thanks to a gentleman named Max who educated me about juniper trees. This past Monday, my boys and I returned in the morning to look for edging material and enjoy the flowers. However, we had an unusual encounter with a gentleman who approached us. When I joked about causing a ruckus and suggested he put my boys to work, he responded in a stern tone, saying they didn't need any help. It felt quite strange. When my son heard a horse and asked about it, the gentleman responded in Spanish, a language neither of us speaks. This left me feeling quite taken aback. Initially, I thought it might have been a misunderstanding. However, when I shared my experience with a coworker, she mentioned that Woods Nursery has a tone that can make visitors feel unwelcomed, which aligned with my experience. It's disheartening because Woods Nursery is such a beautiful place, and one unpleasant interaction can impact the overall experience. I believe the gentleman might be unaware of how his approach comes across, and I hope this feedback is helpful in making the nursery a more welcoming place for everyone. I ended up going to Home Depot and buying the same materials needed for a quarter of the price cheaper.

If you want ripped off shop here...So I had just had probably the worst experience of my life with…read morepeople that took over this place. I have been coming here since M and B opened originally. The original owners were great help and would give you a fair deal on the products they sold As well as price match. NOT ANYMORE!! The new owners have literally taken all of the inventory they purchased from the old owners and doubled the cost of that on almost all of their inventory. When called on it they tell you this is my shop if you don't like it you can get out. So after coming here for the last decade or so I will no longer be sending any of my friends or family to this place to get any type of gardening supply. It was really sad too because, the original owners had really good ideas and really good input and feedback. They went out of their way to help you. these new owners, all they want to do is take your money. So If you have to unfortunately shop here, please make sure you price check and make sure they're not charging you double for an item that should not be charged double. One example is there tiny bag of perlite that they want $20 for that you can get the same exact bag at home depot at $5.99 that is current market price. This is not my issue this is just one prime example of the hyperinflation these guys have done. The product that I purchase or was going to purchase which I have purchased from the previous owners in previous years at a cost of around $72 , and which I can pick up at Walmart right now for $92 or online in multiple places for $75 they want $150. When showing them that they have marketed their stuff way up, they get way defensive for some reason. I would too if I were ripping off my community. So today they definitely lost my business and any chance of me ever going back there, or sending anyone to them again. The funny thing was he was sitting there talking to his friend about nonsense bs and his friend jumped in and's like, show us prove this price! and so I proved it to both of them via current costs at MULTIPLE RETAILORS LOCAL AND ON THE WEB. That's when the new owner jumps in and says well it's my shop, my rules if you don't like it get out. SO I walked out... and yeah so sad so so sad I kind of feel bad for these guys. Please note that any of the reviews on here are all more than 3 plus years old because that is when the old owner's still owned this place. However I notice that the new owners who have absolutely nothing to do with any of the reviews from the previous business are taking credit... Shame on you. My post is literally the only post that has to do with these new owners anything before my post has credit to Brett and Mikey. So you see all of these owner comments that are about 2 years old yeah they have absolutely nothing to do with the gentleman that actually started and founded this business. But man they sure are greedy to take credit for it... again shame on you
