I moved here to the area over a year ago and tried a few chiropractors in the area and didn't find any pain relief in my neck or back until I tried Dr. B. He takes the time to understand your issues and looks out for your best interest of treatments that will help you. He doesn't overdo treatments to charge more as some may. I'll start by saying I've always been skeptical of chiropractors, but my experience with Dr. Baltich has literally changed my quality of life. I was introduced to Dr. Baltich when I hurt my back and a friend took me to "his guy" rather than the emergency room or urgent care. I figured I'd be down for a couple days with pain killers and muscle relaxers and a costly bill from the ER. After a quick consult and a 15 minute treatment, I was walking pain-free again. I returned to Dr. Baltich later after consulting with my primary care physician and a neurologist. I had nerve damage in my right wrist and thumb from typing and computer use -- damage to the point that I could no longer grip a pencil to write or hold a mug of coffee. The neurologist wanted to filet open my palm and deaden the nerve in the wrist. He warned me that he was 100% positive he could stop the pain, but I might not regain use of my thumb after he cut through the muscle in my palm to get to the nerve in my wrist. NO THANK YOU. After a follow-up consult with my primary physician, he suggested acupuncture. I told him I'd recently seen a chiropractor who offered acupuncture and my physician suggested I follow up with Dr. Baltich for an acupuncture consult. Dr. Baltich suggested we try chiro first, before acupuncture, as it was 1) more affordable, and 2) did not require needles. Cheaper AND no sharp, pointy things? OK! After examining my wrist and thumb thoroughly and talking about the neurologist's recommendation, we began treatment. Dr. Baltich had me stand, facing him, then he took a step to the side and took my right arm across his chest. Bracing me, he asked me to take a deep breath, because what he was about to do might hurt. I'm not sure, exactly, what he did, but my wrist snapped and my knees buckled from the pain. Had Dr. Baltich not been bracing me, I would have fallen to the floor. I'm a grown man and I teared up from the pain. After checking to see if I was OK, he told me he was going to do it TWO MORE TIMES. I agreed, and we proceeded. The second time didn't hurt as bad, just a quick, sharp discomfort. The third time, I could barely feel what he did to my wrist. He examined me, again, and had me do some wrist and finger exercises with him. No pain! When I left, I was able to sign the debit card receipt while holding the pen normally! I wasn't gripping the pen like a toddler fisting a crayon. I was amazed! I went home and was able to hold a coffee mug! I could use my wrist and thumb again without pain. It took a series of follow-up treatments to get pain-free and I still go in for "maintenance" on the wrist (unfortunately, I still have to use a computer and mouse), but I much prefer the chiro treatments with Dr. Baltich to having my hand filleted open and possibly loosing the use of my thumb from the surgery. Since then, I've also been seeing Dr. Baltich for seasonal allergy relief. I can't believe it, but a quick adjustment to the neck and (sometimes) face and forehead relieves my allergy congestion better than any medication I've taken over the years -- and with no side effects! I can honestly say I went from a skeptic to a believer in chiropractic medicine. Relief of a back injury, medication-free allergy treatments, and the life-changing treatment on my wrist... absolutely amazing. I can't think of any other word than "amazing." Thank you, Dr. Baltich! Excellent service. I was up from out if town and Dr Baltich was able to get me in right away. This was my first experience at the chiropractor. It all started with the phone call, the staff was very friendly and wanted me to get in right away. We arrived and didn't have to wait very long. I received numerous treatments and was amazed that I able to do everyday actions without the pain I was experiencing. The first few treatments I did helped but I was still in some pain. Yes all goes well at Back to Back! Staff are friendly, caring and most are quite knowledgeable. You never have to wait very long at all to start your treatment session. Mine are fairly routine and usually only once a month for maintenance - if there is more than routine work that needs doing, Dr. B will request that you come back sooner than usual. Treatments are varied and Dr. B is always bringing in something new and willing to offer to try it on you to see if it helps your particular issue. The only reason I'm the bad guy giving 4 stars is based on a personal preference for more privacy and less people noise because when receiving most of the treatments I would like to be able to relax as much as possible, without too much interruption in order to get the full benefits of everything this practice has to offer. I've only been to 1 other chiropractor before this and there were private treatment rooms, so that spoiled me. For me, the openness of this practice took some getting used to, and some visits still are more frantic feeling than others. My inner germaphobe also wishes every and all practices handling people would clean their hands between touching all of us patients. I'm sure if I made the request they'd comply, but I avoid being the odd duck and force myself to get over it. Lol All said, I've been a patient at Back to Back for quite a few years and the overall experience is very good every visit is mostly an enjoyable experience. I am 48 yrs old and a longtime chiropractic patient. I have seen a number of Chiropractors throughout the 30 years since my first experience, and Dr Baltich and his staff are, by leaps and bounds, the absolute best and most thorough! First of all, Dr B understands that an adjustment will only hold if the muscles around the vertebral subluxation are relaxed enough to keep from undoing the adjustment. This is CRITICAL, and there are a lot of chiropractors out there who spend less than 5-10mins with their patients, in an effort to get people in and out and charge as many patients as they can cram into their work day. Dr B makes sure that every patient receives some sort of muscle relaxation treatment before he even thinks about adjusting them. He listens to each patient and takes their knowledge of their bodies into careful consideration before acting and that is rare, I will tell you! I had been suffering with a pinched nerve for 5 days that had my entire upper back and left arm in hard knotted spasms. I hadn't slept in days and was missing my work week altogether, which in my capacity as a busy hairdresser is devastating to my business (not to mention the added issue of having been out of work for 3 months due to COVID-19). Dr B and his staff spent four and a half hours doing spinal decompression, electro-muscular stimulation, rolling massage tables and dry-needling with electro stimulation, all in an effort to calm down my back so he could get my pinched nerve to respond to his physical adjustment. When we finished, I had the first night of pain relief in 5 days. I don't know a single chiropractor who would do that for me or for anyone. Dr Baltich at Back2Back Chiropractic is hands down the best practitioner in his field!!!
