The order was placed at 3.30pm for delivery between 6.25pm-6.45pm. At 6.50pm I called Pacinos to check in as to whether the food was far away (we had kids waiting for food). I was told the food was waiting to be collected and had been ready at 6.30pm. I explained that I had ordered the food earlier in the day and was waiting for delivery. The manager, said that they don't do delivery. I explained that I had ordered from THEIR website where they offer free delivery for orders over $100. The manager said that the website had nothing to do with them and that I needed to come and get the food. Again I explained that I had used the Pacinos website - not a third party for the order, and they were responsible for delivering the food, as per their website. The manager asked if I wanted him to come to my house, hold a candle above his head and sing Happy Birthday to me. I asked to speak to the owner. The manger said the owner was overseas and 'good luck' trying to contact them. My husband and I decided to go to the store to get the food and show him the confirmation email screen shots confirming the delivery. On our way we received a call from an Uber driver saying the food was on its way. The food arrived at 7.25pm and was stone cold. Overall, a terrible, rude experience from Pacinos.

Having recently taken over this space from the much-adored Deliza Cucina, Tin Pan Alley has changed little but installed an enormous woodfired pizza oven. The toppings on offer are authentically minimalist (if you've visited Italy, you'll know what I mean) as are the bases. In a way that only a local pizza place can be, the team are warm, friendly and fun. You can even eat in without feeling like you're in anyone's way as they have a full restaurant... the takeaway pizza component is simply a convenience offering. Very importantly (to me, at any rate) they offer gluten free bases and are even careful enough not to cut the pizza with the same implements used to cut the regular ones, thus avoiding cross-contamination. The only thing that prevents this place from getting a full five stars is that the toppings are a bit on the gourmet side. I mean, blue cheese on a pizza? I don't mind the stuff, but no. Yucktown. Okay, the idea of having a coffee shop tacked onto the back of a larger store has been around for a while, particularly with some of the major chains (I still remember having lunch at one of the major department stores, despite the cafeteria, and the store, being pretty tacky), however these days it seems as if many of these places are converting themselves into bars that happen to sell other things, such as records as is the case with this bar. Pretty cool I reckon because it means that you can enjoy the atmosphere of the bar, but you can also browse the collection of records as well. Also, they have a couple of pretty decent lounge areas, and also beer garden out the bar.
