There has to be a REALLY good reason for me to use a parking garage - especially on a Sunday! - but when we are fortunate to have gorgeous weather on a Sunday in October AND the city is filled up with marathoners, tourists, etc I just had no patience to look for a parking meter. I looked on their website to see how much it would be, and there was a coupon for $10 for the entire day! I only needed a few hours, but this was a sweet deal. Printed it out (or you can send it to your phone for scanning when exiting) and no problems at all. Garage is very clean and well-lit, only negative was some kind of work going on so there were huge areas blocked off (and it has always been a lot of twisty corners to manuever around in there anyhow). This was a much better option than the Boston Common Garage for a higher price (and many blocks away)! read more

Back Bay Garage is located at 500 Boylston Street, with automobile entrances on both Clarendon Street and St. James Avenue with a large blue P sign marking the spot. This is a pretty good location if you wish to find parking in the Copley Square area. Slots on the first parking level were reserved, but we found space easily on the 2nd level down. Exiting via the stairs took us out a door with no handle on the outside, so to return to our car, we had to find the elevator lobby by the elaborate entrance on the Boylston side of the block. If your planning on driving into Salem to your the city. This is the most ideal place to park. No issues whatsoever.

Expensive! $46 for less than 12 hrs. But clean & convenient. Close to Boston Commons & Back Bay.

It is clean and safe and I don't worry about my car at all. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Also, there is a car wash in the basement which is really convenient. I would highly recommend to anyone needing a place to park their car. read more

This place is a gem, and I'm a bit worried about the word getting out. It's just what it should be: a decent place to stick your car when you gotta go Into Town. The weekday rate is appropriately expensive. But the weekend rate is so surprisingly reasonable, I drive in from truly rural NH just to ramble around and see tall buildings. (Well, I did in the beforetimes.) If you pay attention to which exit you use, it's just a block & a half from the Arlington T station. Far superior to those tiny lots on Newbury St that are always full. read more

The garage itself is fine, but total lack of proper security. My car was broken into while parked overnight, items taken. When I stopped in to report the break-in and theft at the office they looked at me like I was crazy and shrugged their shoulders. That was it. They said and asked me nothing. As a monthly tenant paying $500 per month, I would expect more. But hey, read the fine print, "we're not responsible". Want to update the prior review. Seems they did look into rash of thefts and actually stopped what was going on, do kudos to management for keeping on top of security. Also, Andy the manager is a swell guy who gets to know and goes out of his way to take care of his monthly customers. read more

I saw "early bird special" for $28 and assumed it meant that if you come in before a certain time, that's your price. The actual rule is you have to come in by 9:00 a.m. And leave after 4:00 p.m. And if you try leaving anytime before 4 o'clock you get charged $40. Overall it's a decent garage, but the price to park there for a full work day is too hefty when the "early bird special" works against you. read more

Just a really well-run garage. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there is even bicycle parking. If you're going to be there late and it's your first time, make sure you figure out how to get back in the garage ahead of time. I'm often pointing out for people how to get back to their car when I leave the building on foot. I do wish they'd allow motorcycles to park in the garage, like the Prudential Center one does, but there is pretty adequate street-parking on Boylston and Newbury when riding a motorcycle in. read more

Great service. The attendant answered the phone promptly both times I called. The entrance we used was closed at 1130pm so I called to figure out how to get into the garage. The attendant told us the Boylston entrance is always open and then kindly told us to stay put - he opened the closed entrance so we didn't need to walk around the block. The garage was well kept and easy to drive through. Great prices. We will be back! read more

Reserved a space through Spot Hero. Arrived at the agreed time. The garage was full. I went to the garage office and showed him my reservation and he said "Yes. So, we are full. Go to the valet on level 3 [meaning deepest level below street] and see if he can help you out." Phooey on that. The valet would have expected a tip to park the car "creatively" when they should have had a self-park space for me that was prepaid. Cruised longer instead and lucked out 12 or 13 minutes later. I have a car with good power and a nice marque, and I'm not crazy about valeting it. So, finding this garage where, for $10 I can park it myself without the craziness of the Pru garage (and the hassle of having to get validated) is HUGE.
