I highly recommend the Ellsworth Back in Balance facility for its flexibility and accommodation in working with my numerous referrals through the VA and Veterans Choice for over three years. Their front desk team has been instrumental in helping me process my referrals and then schedule my multiple appointments. They are also a reliable, flexible, and reassuring point of contact, especially when I need to reschedule, am running late, or being caught in traffic, making my experience stress-free. Regarding Dr. David, he is awesome. He is a very personable yet professional chiropractor. I look forward to each visit and walk out with less pain. I have Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis, Osteoarthritis, Degenerative Disc Disease, and numerous other physical issues. Dr. David views me as a challenge, but he's keeping me out of a wheelchair. He is always upbeat and optimistic. I felt like I was going through the self-check aisle at a wallmart. I was sent a bill that said I was 90 days overdue, and it was the first time it was sent to me. I had to stop in and explain that they had probably billed the insurance Co. I had last year and not my new insurance Co. That I had given them at the beginning of the year. Thank goodness for Back in Balance, Ellsworth! When I met Dr. David I was in a lot of pain and unable to stand upright. I recall crawling up onto the table. 51 years of scoliosis and too much time with chemo. The first week of gardening did me in. No more chemo and Back in Balance is now and integral part of my healing team! After in-house xrays (super convenient!) we made a clear plan and he assured me with confidence and kindness that he would help me and he has. Also, massage with Hannah is next level- so talented and strong. Kristina at the front desk is a delight- always upbeat, friendly and calm as you enter the building- no matter how busy (I love when it's not busy). Stellar business doing what they say and getting people back to caring for themselves and their families (and gardens)! Very accomodating with appointments. Check with your health insurance and take advantage if it's covered. If not, (that stinks) it's a worthy investment. I wear a mask but not required. read more

I would easily recommend any clinician at the back and balance wellness center, at both the Bangor and Ellsworth offices :) I've had a work-related injury that's been up and down over the last year. Years ago I was injured in a car accident and sought treatment through Nesiba. I had a lawsuit going against the person who ran into me. He came to my work place one day needing a signature to send information to my lawyer, only he tricked me into signing a release which gave him a large portion of my settlement.
