I've been seeing Rachelle going on 5 years for neck pain from the office, runners knee & seasonal depression. Every time I leave, I genuinely feel healed physically & spiritually. What you should know: Rachelle is inviting you into her home; her sanctuary. This is not like a traditional massage parlor but she does have a designated room which is very comfortable & relaxing. She listens to what you tell her & she asks probing questions to ensure she fully understands what you are experiencing pain wise. I must say that "Licensed Massage Therapist" does not do the experience justice. I originally began treatments for foot pain (tendonitis) and chronic hip and leg pain (sciatic nerve pain). Rachelle started with my feet. Her reflexology technique proved to be thorough and most effective. I was able to walk again!! I knew that taking care of my body was serious business. I went back regularly as my schedule would permit. It was then that I realized her grasp of the concept of "Holistic" -- keeping the human body and spirit functioning in harmony. She used very specific herbal oils and aroma therapy as she was continually making spinal adjustments and working muscles and tendons. Very physically active baby boomer healthcare professional here. Still run, swim, use elliptical, bike, hike etc. Alas, despite good stretching routines and "mixing it up", I still have occasional soft tissue pain of the hip (piriformis, gluteus medius etc.) if I "overdo it". Have you ever had someone work on your feet and you felt it throughout your body? I hadn't but then Rachelle did reflexology on my feet and I felt it. I thought she was spending too much time on my feet rather than on my back (I went to her because I was in town to help with my 93-year-old dad and lifting him fried my back), and then I started to feel it in my head and other places (according to the foot chart. I am a nurse, with chronic back, leg, and foot pain, due to old injuries. I use special shoes with orthotic inserts, which have kept me walking for the last 20 years. But the pain had increased to the point that I have been at times unable to walk more than a very short distance.
