I've been going to see dawn at studio 888 for a few years and she's simply the best. I had massages before going here and cannot go back to anywhere else anymore. She takes the time to understand where the source of your body's pain is, and shows you plenty of stretches and exercises to help once you're done. The online scheduling system is also great. 5 Stars! I've been looking for a massage therapist that I can visit on a regular basis, to no avail....until today! As always, my fellow Yelpers did not let me down! On-line booking was super easy, I received appt reminders and the price was right! I booked a 90 minute therapeutic massage. I arrived to my appointment on time, and was greeted immediately at the door. Dawn proceeded to ask me where my problem areas were and our session began. The space is quaint and clean. The table was warm and comfy. Dawn targeted my problem areas and the scalp massage was EVERYTHING! There was soft music playing and the session was SO relaxing. Afterwards, Dawn provided me with some stretching exercises to keep my tense areas loose, between sessions. I will absolutely return! read more

Dawn is so friendly and so skilled - and her studio is so cute! She's the only staffer, so when you're there for an appointment, you have her full attention - no other noisy customers or employees bustling around outside your massage room. It's a quiet, peaceful, and private space, and Dawn is adept at various kinds of massage & other treatments. I go to her for cupping & now swear by it. It was my first massage therapy experience and I needed it. I enjoyed the fact that dawn took the time to talk to me and explain the process of everything that was going to happen. She also mentioned other therapies such has reiki. She made me feel really comfortable throughout my whole experience. The studio is also beautiful with many decors throughout the interior. Today was my first massage with Dawn but it definitely won't be my last! The entire experience was completely comfortable and relaxing! She was great at targeting problem areas and even giving advice on things I could do for myself between sessions. More than you would know... I am perm/ partial disabled and for many years lived off of narcotics to help me get through the day. I wanted to have another baby but knew the chances where slim since I was in my late 30's, overweight and on heavy narcotics. The doctors told me that I has to get off the narcotics. I weened myself off the narcotics and started seeing Dawn hoping and praying for a miracle. After a few visits I felt much better and wondered why I didn't do this sooner. Dawn worked extensively on my back and neck and helped educate me about my body. After several months with no medication and very little pain I was able to conceive. I attribute Dawns care for my health and her knowledge of how to help with my particular needs to my being able to be a Mommy again. She is very accommodating and professional, her work area is clean and relaxing and one other thing that makes her great is, unlike many other places your not just another number or $$ in her pocket, she is sincere, patient and genuine with each person. Dawn is amazing! :) Her studio is warm and cozy, hidden down a little drive on Professor. It has a wood burning stove that keeps it toasty in the winter. She has a ton of medical massage knowledge and will teach you stretches to help ease whatever muscle tightness you have in between massages. She cares about truly resolving your physical issues. If you have any tricky or recurring pain types, I recommend seeking her out. If you don't, then you'll still get a damn good massage. :) I have also done a couple's massage class with Dawn, which is a really fun alternative date night or celebration idea. Been going to Dawn for years because of a bad back and fibromyalgia . She is the reason I am standing and able to take 5 mile walks unaided.

I have been to other massage therapists but have never had the wonderful experience that I have had here. Honestly, after my first massage, I was able to stop using a cane to help me walk. I have continued to follow Dawn's instructions and have a massage each week. The health benefits are amazing. My osteoarthritis issues are lessening and I am a much happier person. I went to Dawn for the first time today. She was very professional and the quaint studio was very warm and inviting. Dawn immediately made me feel comfortable and took time to get to know me and my goals for treatment before beginning the session. I was immediately impressed with her understanding and knowledge of what I was hoping to gain from massage therapy. Hours after the session, I feel slightly sore (expected since I have not had a massage in a long time), yet also feel relief and less tension in many areas. I can't speak highly enough about this experience. Dawn offered educated insight and recommendations for my concerns. She was a level above any other massage I've had. She also offered her opinions on other ways I could improve my overall well-being (she made these suggestions based on information I divulged, and only after asking if I was ok with her giving such advice).
